Executive summary
Corn production in the country does not meet
the demand of domestic consumption leading
to the situation that Vietnam still imports a
large amount of corn grains.
In 2016 and 2017, the grain stockpiles in the
whole country have been reduced and
maintained at a stable level thanks to demand
that does not spike as in previous years.
Domestic corn prices in recent years always
follow the fluctuation of world prices.
