 Thank You!

Thank you for your generous donation to the Vietnam Flood Relief lastmonth. Your contributions have made a tremendous impact on the lives of hundreds of flood victims in Vietnam.

The flood that hit Vietnam’s central coast in early October took 112 livesand left 150,000 families displaced. The OneVietnam communityresponded quickly to provide much needed winter supplies for thesedisplaced families. In only 10 days, donors like you from around the U.S.

raised a total of $3,593 to support the flood victims in Vietnam. Donors’contributions were used to provide warm blankets and mosquito nets to270 families in Ha Tinh and Nghe An provinces of Vietnam from November11 to 13.

Due to the emergency nature of this special initiative and high transactionfees, we could not qualify your donation for tax deduction in time. Weapologize and will personally refund your donation upon request.

The Vietnam Flood Relief special initiative was truly a team effort by the our

entire community. Thank you again for your generosity to the flood victimsin Vietnam and support for OneVietnam Network. We have prepared adetailed recap in subsequent pages. Please enjoy and feel free to contactus if you have any questions.

 The Relief

In the weeks following the storm in Vietnam’s central coast, many relief groups provided food and water to the flood victims. Many familieswhose homes were destroyed by the storm, however, needed blanketsand mosquito nets to protect them from the approaching winter. Ourteam of volunteers in Vietnam worked quickly to purchase 270 blankets

and mosquito nets and to schedule delivery to flood victims in Ha Tinhand Nghe An provinces.

OneVietnam relied on a small group of volunteers in Vietnam led by our dear friend Thinh Duong. Thinh and Paul, our Director of Engineering, are long time friendsthrough their work outside of OneVietnam. Thinh and 6 other volunteers generouslydonated weeks of time to plan and deliver relief to the people at Ha Tinh and Nghe Anprovinces. We are thankful for their time and dedication to helping the hundreds of flood victims in Vietnam. Thinh and his family recently moved to Southern California.

Be sure to connect with him on OneVietnam if you’re in the area.
