The Department of Theatre and Dance has operated with one piano for all of its

musical needs...UNTIL NOW.

STEINWAY PIANO GALLERY OF CHARLESTON graciously offered an upright studio piano, as a live auction item at the School of the Arts’ Silver Celebration, last October.

Over $15,000 was raised for the piano, which now resides in the large acting studio in The Marion and Wayland H. Cato Jr. Center for the Arts. Delivery was courtesy of Fox Music House.

A list of piano donors can be found at theatre.cofc.edu.

This gift came just in time for rehearsals for, The Secret Garden, a musical collaborativley produced by the Depart-ment of Music and the Department of Theatre and Dance.
