Accommodation is on two levels below the wheel/bridge-house, consisting of crew cabins, a well equipped but compact galley with cupboards, sink, fridge, microwave, freezers, cooktop and convection oven. Separate toilet and shower is located within the main accommodation area. Crew cabins are located near the galley and mess area along with a separate chief’s cabin. The Master’s cabin is located aft adjacent to the covered work area. The vessel comes with functional, well maintained bridge and associated equipment (including a new MF/HF Radio), navigational equipment, lights, Life Saving Equipment, rescue tender, fire fighting equipment, railings, funnel, pipes, vents, windows, cargo hatches, fittings and deck all in sound condition. The vessel also has a stern ramp, bosons store, covered work area, power winches, cranes and loading arch. It is equipped with 2 x 8,000 kg refrigerated brine tanks below deck. The stern has a cutaway area to the water line that would facilitate launch and retrieval options for ancillary boat to at least 7 metres but can also support a small storage container. The main storage freezer is a newly installed, below deck facility of 25 Tonne capacity, updated in 2013. The large aft deck area not only provides a huge, covered and unobstructed work area but with the additional ramp area provides the possibility for use as a small cargo transport. It is serviced by an overhead hydraulic crane from the top deck with an 8.5m steel boom. The lower deck is equipped with another stainless steel crane that traverses the full length of the boat. It is a vessel ideally suited, as is, for operation as a Commercial Fishing platform but especially with its large freezer and other refrigeration capabilities, including a 1,000 kg deck snap freezer with capacity to provide 8,000kg of ice. Water tank capacity approximately 7,500 litres. An alternative primary use is as a ‘mother’ ship with its 30,000 litre below deck fuel capacity and capability for installation of additional tanks that would increase capacity by another 30,000 litres if required. There are 2 x 8,000 kg cargo holds at deck level. The hull is sound with minimal/no surface rust, no surface deterioration and the vessel has been recently slipped, defouled and repainted with International Standard (environmentally sustainable) antifoul paint. The vessel was surveyed in 2011 in NSW and then transferred to QLD registration; it was then re-surveyed for Papua New Guinea. Other formal surveys and inspections have also been completed and documented I available reports. A condition and values report was done in January 2014 by Grant Parks & Associates and an out of water inspection was done whilst the vessel was slipped in April 2014 when the hull was last cleaned and repainted.
