Special Note from Tamara:Marianne Johnson Fisher is the

composer of As I Search the Holy Scriptures. I have had the privilege of meeting her because she was friends

with my Great Aunt. She has a beautiful voice and loves music. But one thing that is amazing about her is that she is blind from a complication of her birth. When she searches the scriptures, she would use her braille copy of the scriptures. For seventeen

years, Marianne sang in the tabernacle choir. She received two

masters degrees. Marianne is a beautiful example of endurance and joy, and she dearly loves the gospel.
