The alert Police Staff of South Distt. Team:

On 17.06.11, at about 5:00 PM, the staff comprising SI Ashok Kumar, SI Om Prakash, SI Shiv dev and Const Khem Singh from PS Mehrauli were present on 100 foota road Chhatarpur Enclave New Delhi, then they noticed two persons coming from MG Road side on foot. Both the persons tried to turn back after seeing the patrolling staff on the way but they were overpowered by the alert staff sensing something wrong. On checking, both were found having polythene bags in their hands and on checking both were found containing Charas around 1Kg each. The information was immediately conveyed to the SHO PS Mehrauli. SI Ashok Kumar and SI Om Prakash prepared the two Rukkas under the provision of Narcotics Act in accordance with the legal procedure and both the above cases were registered and the investigation of both the cases handed over to SI Narpat Singh and ASI Ravi Shankar Tyagi.

Investigation: During further investigation, it has been revealed that the accused persons are permanent resident of Nepal. It has also been disclosed by them during the investigation that they get the Charas from Kullu Himachal Pradesh supplied from a person namely Bikash Magar who is the kingpin of the gang and resident of Nepal and they further supply the Charas in retail from different pre decided locations. They give delivery in the nearby secluded places. They tell their customers in advance that on the particular day of week, they would be available on a particular place with the stuff to sell it in retail.

Profile of arrested persons:

Both the accused persons are permanent resident of Nepal. They are living in K.M.Pur and Majnu Ka Tilla on rental accommodation. Both the accused are studied up to 10 th

class. Bikash Magar who is relative of Bishal Magar brought them to Delhi. Both of them got indulged in trafficking of Charas. Their clientiele includes students,businessmen and professionals,they are also having supply network in Goa, Bangalore,Kolkata and Mumbai, where they supplied through their couriers usually by bus, depending on their client and demand, they even travelled by Air.

Investigation to unearth the racket indulged in Narcotic Substance is continuing.

A MINOR KIDNAPPED GIRL RECOVERED AND ACCUSED ARRESTED BY THE STAFF OF PS SHAHBAD DAIRY OUTER

DISTRICT.

 

The Outer District Police of P.S. Shahbad Dairy has recovered the kidnapped girl Age-12 yrs and arrested the accused namely Lakhan S/O Sh Rakesh R/O Vill- Sisra P.S. Chawa Distt- Aligarh ( U.P ) from Rajasthan.

BRIEF FACTS:-

Brief facts of the case are that on 15.6.2011, Complainant Sh. Raju S/O Sh. Swamiddin R/o C-513 Phase I, Metro Vihar Holambi Kalan Delhi came at P.P Metro Vihar, PS Shahbad Dairy, Delhi and got his statement recorded that on 12.6.2011, he stated that his minor daughter age-12 yrs namely went to market at 7:30 P.M for shopping

and did not came back. He suspected that some unknown person had kidnapped his daughter. On the statement of Sh. Raju, a case FIR No. 209/11, dated 15.6.2011, U/Sec 363 IPC, P.S. Shahbad Dairy, Outer Distt, Delhi was registered and investigation was taken up.

INVESTIGATION:

During the course of investigation, Intensive search of the girl was made in and around Delhi, a special team was constituted under the supervision of Insp. Dinesh Kumar SHO/Shahbad Dairy, raid was conducted in Delhi and NCR. On secret information, the team raided at Bhiwadi District Rajasthan and recovered the kidnapped girl and arrested the accused namely Lakhan S/O Rakesh R/O Vill Sirsa P.S. Chawa Distt Aligarh ( U.P. ).

The accused Lakhan was subjected to sustained interrogation, on which he reveals that he kidnapped the girl for the purpose of marriage and he along with the girl came to Bhiwadi District Rajasthan for the job.

AATS STAFF of Outer District has solved three (3) different cases of MV theft, reported in PS North Rohini, Outer District, PS Ranjeet Nagar and PS Okhala Industrial Area, Delhi.INVESTIGATION:

Due to sudden rise in incidents of MV Thefts in the area of Rohini, Delhi during these days a special team comprising of Police officers of AATS OUTER DISTT including SI R.K Maan, HC Narender Singh, Ct. Anil Kumar Ct. Karmvir Ct. Ramphal and Ct. Rakesh under the leadership of Inspr. Swadesh Parkash was constituted under the supervision of Ved Prakash, ACP/Ops., to develop information regarding MV thieves and to nab them. The dedicated team members spent many sleepless nights to identify the desperate active criminals and left no stone un-turn to achieve the target assigned to them and continuously kept on chasing through deployment of sources as well as other means of collection/development of information, after identifying certain persons, started kept on tracking their movements. After spending many tedious and sleepless nights, on 17-06-2011 at about 1:15 PM, HC Narender received some specific information that an auto lifter would be coming with stolen car near Rajiv Gandhi Cancer Hospital for the purpose of selling the stolen car, the team immediately swung into action and laid a trap near Rajiv Gandhi Cancer Hospital. At about 2:10 PM the police party leaving no scope to flee away, apprehended a person, who reached in a car No. HR51AN 9439 Indica Vista. After interrogation of accused, it was revealed that he has used fake No. plate on this recovered/stolen car. The recovered car was stolen from the area of P.S. North Rohini and the original No. of car was DL-8C-NA-3098. The accused was arrested and during interrogation he disclosed regarding theft of two other cars. TEAM:

Modus operandi of the accused is to use the original keys to start the vehicle. For this purpose he first visited the taxi stand for search a job as a driver. He produced fake driving license and identity to hide his original identity. After his appointment he got an opportunity to remain alone at taxi stand and then used to steal the car/taxi with original documents and keys. PROFILE:

One Murderer Proclaimed Offender Arrested after 12 years of incident.

 Major Highlights 

P.O. Rakesh Kumar s/o Ledkraj Singh R/o Q.No. A-42, Kalindi Kunj Khurja , Buland Shahar U.P. was wanted in case FIR No.344/99 u/s 302/201/34 IPC, P.S. Sangam Vihar, Delhi.

 

Facts and circumstances               On 26 July 1999, SI Vijay Sirotia reported that one accused namely Ravinder Kumar s/o Jagdish Chand r/o H. No. 602, Devli Village who was arrested in case FIR No. 309/99 u/s 25/54/59 Arms Act, P.S. Badarpur disclosed that he along with his friends Rakesh, Om Prakash @ Bittoo and Dilawar used to steal motor vehicles and sell them in Nepal. About two years back his associate Rakesh enticed a girl namely Suman and kept her with him as his wife. All of them used to have intercourse with her which was not liked by Suman. One day Suman told Rakesh to marry her otherwise she would get all of them involved in a criminal case. Then they decided to get rid of her.  After one year, all of them took Suman to the forest area on the pretext of

marrying with Rakesh.  Inside the deep forest they killed Suman by strangulating her with her dupatta and hid her dead body under the stones. The skeleton of the dead body was recovered from the jungle at the instance of accused Ravinder and case vide FIR No. 344/99 u/s 302/201/34 IPC was registered at P.S. Sangam Vihar on 27.07.99. During the course of investigation, Ravinder Dilawar and Om Prakash @ Bittoo were arrested while present accused Rakesh absconded. Charge sheet was filed in the court. Rakesh was declared P. O. on 30.05.2001.  Since then he was hiding himself in order to avoid his arrest.

  

-2-Team and operation  A special team comprising of HC Rakesh Kumar, No. 695/SE, Ct. Manvir, No.1318/SE and Ct. Vipin, No. 1362/ SE was constituted under the leadership of Inspector Dalip Singh SHO/Sangam Vihar and under overall supervision of Sh. Mahipal Singh, ACP/Ambedkar Nagar to apprehend the culprit. Continuous hard work for the last one and half months and constant efforts ultimately resulted in apprehension of accused Rakesh Kumar s/o Lekhraj Singh R/o Q.No. A-42, Kalindi Kunj Khurja , Buland Shahar U.P permanent resident of village Chiti Distt. Aligarh on 17.06.2011.{

Interrogation and modus operandi

 

During the investigation and interrogation accused Rakesh has confessed that he used to drive TSR in Sangam Vihar area and formed a gang of auto lifters along with his friends Ravinder, Om Prakash @ Biuttoo and Dilawar. They used to

With the arrest of a desperate auto-lifter Satish aged 24 years s/o Ram Babu r/o Jhuggi 600/2, Munshi Ram Bagh, Ranjit Nagar, Delhi, the staff of Police Station Ranjit Nagar, Central District has solved four cases of MV thefts and recovered four stolen vehicles.

TEAM AND OPERATION

In view of the increasing incidents of Motor Vehicle Thefts in Central District, a police team consisting of HC Mahender, Ct. Pavinder and Ct. Attar Singh was constituted under the supervision of Inspr. Ravinder Singh SHO/Ranjit Nagar. The local intelligence was gathered and checking pickets were installed at vulnerable places. On 16.6.11, the team was conducting vehicle checking at Madhav Setu picket. At about 7.45 pm, one person driving a scooter Honda Active No. DL-6S Y-7865 was spotted and he was asked to produce the ownership details of the scooter, but he failed to show any legal document of the scooter. On verification, it was learnt that the scooter has been stolen from the area of PS Ranjit Nagar vide FIR No. 2/11. His identity was revealed as Satish r/o Munshi Ram Bagh, Ranjit Nagar. Consequently, he was arrested under relevant section of law.

INVESTIGATION & INTERROGATION

Accused Satish was subjected to sustained interrogation in which he disclosed that he is illiterate. He along with one Babloo used to sell old used clothes by hawking. Thereafter, he went to Dehradun and continued same work with his cousin Amit. When he came back to Delhi, he joined the company of his cousin Ishwar @ CP and entered the world of crime. He also became addict of taking Ganja and having girlfriends. To meet the expenses for his addiction, he started committing motor vehicle thefts, snatching etc. He had been caught in the year 2003 while committing theft in a factory in the area of Tilak Nagar. His cousin Ishwar @ CP is a desperate robber. His another cousin Balram is also a desperate robber and is undergoing in judicial custody in a robbery case of PS Ranjit Nagar.

He further disclosed that he used to keep a bunch of old keys with him and used to steal two-wheelers from different areas by using these keys. He had stolen a number of two-wheelers from different areas of Delhi. At his instance, three stolen motorcycles have been recovered which were stolen from the areas of Police Stations Pahar Ganj, Tilak Nagar and Moden Town.

Hanif r/o SP Mukherjee Market, New Rohtak Road, Delhi and (2) Vikul @ Gaurav aged 19 years s/o Magan Lal r/o Jhandewalan, Pahar Ganj, Delhi, the staff of Police Station I.P. Estate, Central District has solved 12 cases of MV thefts and recovered eight stolen vehicles.

Raghuraj Khatana SHO/I.P. Estate. On 17.6.11 at about 7:30 PM, the team was conducting vehicle checking at Gate No. 22, IG Indoor Stadium, New Delhi. During the checking, two youths riding on a Yamaha motorcycle were stopped and were asked to produce the ownership details of the motorcycle, but they failed to show any legal document. On verification, it was learnt that the motorcycle was stolen from the area of PS Pahar Ganj vide FIR No. 84/11. The motorcycle was being used with fake number plate. Their identity was revealed as Umeed Malik r/o SP Mukherjee Market, New Rohtak Road and Vikul r/o Pahar Ganj, Delhi. Consequently, both were arrested under relevant section of law.

INVESTIGATION & INTERROGATIONBoth the accused were subjected to sustained interrogation in which it was learnt

that Umeed Malik is an auto-mechanic. He was fond of satta and having girlfriends but his income was not sufficient to meet the expenses for his passions. He started preparing duplicate keys of the two-wheelers and cars brought at his workshop for repair. Then he would reccee the vehicles at the place of parking. Thereafter, he used to commit theft of the vehicles with the help of his associates including Vikul @ Gaurav who was also fond of having girlfriends. After changing the number plates of the stolen vehicles, they sold the stolen vehicles in Eastern U.P. They had stolen a number of vehicles from different areas of Delhi.

At their instance, six motorcycles and one Accent car were also recovered which were stolen from different places of Delhi and 12 cases of Motor Vehicle Theft of Police Stations Pahar Ganj, DBG Road, Darya Ganj, Karol Bagh, I.P. Estate, Rajinder Nagar and Vasant Vihar have been solved.

Further investigation is under progress and efforts are being made to nab their associates.

The staff of Police Station Paschim Vihar has arrested one person namely Raju @ Topi S/o Ram Swaroop R/o C-5/117 Sultan Puri New Delhi permanent resident of Distt. Etawah U.P. with a spring activated knife, who had also committed theft in the months of June 2010 in the Kothi No. A-1 East Friends Colony vide FIR No. 148/10 U/S 380 IPC dated 15.06.10 P.S. New Friends Colony , New Delhi vide FIR No. 180/11 U/S 25/54/59 Arms Act. The Gold Jewellery worth Rs. 2.5 Lacs recovered.

During investigation the accused Raju @ Topi got recovered the following gold ornaments of about 120 gms.

INFORMATION AND OPERATION On 17.06.11 secret information was received that a person having a knife

in his possession is present near lake District park Paschim Vihar with the intention of committing crime. Immediately the facts were brought into the knowledge of Inspr. Anil Kumar Chauhan SHO/Paschim Vihar and a team comprising of ASI Sri Krishan , ASI Padmesh Tyagi, Ct. Bijender & Ct. Manish was formed and sent near lake District park Paschim Vihar to apprehend the

said person. A raid was conducted and apprehended the accused namely Raju @ Topi S/o Ram Swaroop R/o C-5/117 Sultan Puri New Delhi permanent resident of Distt. Etawah U.P. aged about 30 years with a spring activated Knife. Accordingly a case vide FIR No. 180/11 U/S 25/54/59 Arms Act was registered at P.S. Paschim Vihar New Delhi

INTERROGATION AND MODUS OPERANDIDuring sustained interrogation the finger print of accused was checked at CRIS System which immediately confirmed that the accused has already been apprehended and his search slip with specific number is present in the record of CRO,Delhi Police. The accused then broke down and confessed that during the month of June 2010 he has also committed the theft in the Kothi No. A-1 East Friend Colony New Delhi. He has also disclosed that he had stolen jewellery worth lacs of rupees and in the last one year he is living his life from the money got by selling the gold ornaments near hospitals by making pretext to the visitors that he is in need of money for getting treatment of loved ones. He also disclosed that he can get recovered the Gold ornaments which are lying in his almirah at his residence. The accused made his best efforts but in vain and ultimately could not escape from the clutches of law. Staff involved in good work is being rewarded suitably.

The public in general is hereby informed that dead body of

unknown female aged about 20/21 years, height approximately 5 feet, wheatish

complexion, medium built, wearing green colour payjami, with injury marks on

throat has been recovered on 17.06.2011 from Bawana Canal opposite Sector-

4,DSIIDC, Bawana. Word “SONIKA” tattooed at right arm. A case F.I.R. No. 203

dated 17.6.2011 u/s 302 IPC, P.S. Bawana has been registered in this regard.

Dead body has been preserved for 72 hours in the mortuary of Baba Saheb

Ambedkar Hospital, Rohini. Any person having any information or clue about the

BRIEF FACTS OF THE CASE:

On receipt of the information at 1.05 am, vide DD No. 3A dated 18.06. 2011 P.S.

K.N.Katju Marg that a one unidentified male dead body was found at Haiderpur

Water Treatment Plant. SI Jitender Joshi reached the spot and found a dead

body of an unknown male aged about 20/22 years, shallow complexion, medium

built, long face, black hair, wearing purple shirt, black pant, height 5’ 7”, black

sport shoe, golden colour timex wrist watch, which is struck in the net of

Haiderpur Water Treatment Plant. On close inspection of dead body has two cut

marks on the neck and on stab mark below of the right ear. A case FIR No.

273/11 U/S 302/201 IPC P.S. K.N. Katju Marg has been registered and

Hue & Cry notice has been distributed and enquiries regarding missing report of

the deceased is being made from adjoining police stations and localities to

establish the identity of the deceased.
