WELCOME TO KNOXKnox Church is a congregation within the Presbyterian Church of Aotearoa New Zealand. We aim to create Christian community in which people of all
ages, sexual orientations, cultural backgrounds and socio-economic situations are included as equally valued participants in our congregational life. We cherish our diversity, offering a safe place of belonging to any who wish to
explore their beliefs in an atmosphere promoting discussion, the development of healthy relationships and spiritual growth. We strive to be open to dialogue and shared experiences with people of other faiths. We enjoy worshipping the God made known in Jesus, endeavouring to do so in ways that are relevant to our daily lives, respect the integrity of creation, and make a positive difference
to our wider world.
A loop system for hearing aids operates at Knox.

Jesus from Nazareth,your identity confuses the violent,and you are feared by those who need to be in control;YOUR KINGDOM IS NOT FROM THIS WORLD.
Give us grace to take our place within your kingdom,TO SPURN THE WAYS OF VIOLENCE,TO LIVE WITH REDEEMING GRACE,AND TO ENSHRINE IN OUR COMMUNITYTHE VICTORY OF LIFE.
We pray this in the name of Jesus,who taught us to pray, saying:

KNOX OFFICE MANAGER POSITIONAs a result of the impending retirement of Di Harrington, the Knox parish secretary for nearly 22 years, we are now calling for applications for a new part-time position as Office Manager. Commencement date is early in 2016 with some flexibility around the actual date .

Note however that Knox has a policy of not employing a member of the Knox congregation for such a position, to avoid any conflict of interest or pastoral complications.
