• They came in as Creative Partners and facilitated the briefing, creative and evaluation process
• Rachana Sansad CAAC is located at Prabhadevi and runs degree courses in Applied Art
• They came in as Venue Partners and provided the auditorium, class rooms and mac lab facilities
• The volunteers were selected from the second year batch.
• 18 from Rachana Sansad and 8 from Sir J J Institute of Applied Art formed the strong support team to execute the event
Volunteers
WHY
• A platform for talented Applied Art students and the colleges to interact formally with one of the finest creative agencies and doyens in the industry – O&M
• A simulated professional environment for the students to exhibit their skills and be considered for live internships with the agency. Suitably guided by Industry experts.

(a) lateral thinking and
(b) integration of art and design to serve as a platform for creative ideation and activation
• A platform for genuine talent scouting by O&M
• An opportunity for Taj Holidays to use and leverage the creative output across various platforms including social media and consumer marketing applications
LET THE STORY BEGINthe planning stage
JJAAAN with Taj Holidays & O&M initiate the idea of the talent hunt & workshop in Aug 2010

THE BIG IDEA
• Select 120 applied art students from 4 colleges viz Sir J J Institute of Applied Art, Rachana Sansad CAAC, Sophia Polytechnic and LS Raheja School of Art.
• To identify good talent it was decided that we create a microsite for students to upload 3 best artworks
'Vignettes' name coined by O&M team
Posters were printed and sent to all 4 colleges
JJAAAN team visited 4 colleges and informed students and faculty
Students uploaded their 3 best artworks on the microsite
O&M team evaluated and selected 120 students.
THE STAGE WAS SETthe volunteers needed training to handle 120 students
and the event
THE TRAINING
• The JJAAAN team trained the volunteers in team work, planning, digital media and communication techniques
• Each one was groomed and assigned specific roles and tasks as per the requirement of the event.
