2018-19

Introduction:

Vodithala Education Society which is managing Vijetha High School

comprises of members who have rich experience in establishment and

efficient management of a number of reputed educational institutions viz.

Kakatiya Institute of Technology & Science, Warangal Dt. TS, Kamala

Institute of Technology &Science, Singapur, Karimnagar Dist. T.S.,

Kavikulguru Institute of technology & Science, Ramtek Maharashtra State

,VSR Degree College-Singapur-Karimnagar Dist., Kamala Junior College-

Singapur, Karimnagar Dist., Skanda School-Singapur Karimnagar Dist.,

VMR Polytechnic-Warangal Dist.,Warangal Public School-Warangal Dist.

Realizing the need for an ideal and model education, our society a

registered organization under the Chairmanship of Late Shri.V.Rajeswar

Rao garu Ex.M.P. Ex.M.L.A and Ex.M.L.C has come forward to provide

better education facilities.

At present under the able guidance and Chairmanship of

Capt.V.Lakshmikantha Rao Garu, Member of Parliament, Rajya Sabha, our

society is achieving its goals.

A heart filled with aspirations is all that we knew since the very

existence of the school and that’s what gave us the ambition of marching

forward till excellence is achieved in all endeavours.

I now present our school annual report comprising of our

achievements made during the year gone by and set path for greater

accomplishments in the years to come.

Academics:

Our major achievement this academic year is the complete switch

over upto X class from S.S.C Board to CBSE Board. This herculean task has

been possible due to the continuous encouragement of our Secretary

Sri.V.Srinivasa Rao garu and the seizeless guidance and support of our

Executive Director Shri.V.Pranav garu.

To face the challenges in this competitive world we as a team at

Vijetha, adopt the curriculum which raises the level of learning in the class

room and builds confidence in the child.

To ignite curiosity in every child we are patronising the principle of 5

A’s –aim, action, analysis, application and assessment which enables the

students of Vijetha to learn, by doing and reflecting through visuals,

reading and observing phenomena.

Our learning practices focus on quality and depth of knowledge,

reduces memorization and rote learning and promotes questioning,

application through hands on experiences.

To emphasize core development areas of a child viz. language,

mathematical, physical, creative knowledge and understanding of the

world we are following XSEED books for class PP1, PPII and I to V classes.

To bring out creative skills we also conduct pottery classes,

dramatization, role-play, drawing & painting, arts & crafts.

Academic Performance:

Achieving academic excellence is at the heart of our endeavour as

educators. Academic achievements reflect the ability to perform the best

by developing one’s intellectual potentials and skills through rigorous

hard work.

The academic year 2018-19 started on a bright note with X class

achieving 100% passes 14 students scored A1 grades, where Kum.Avigna

& Kum.Vasuki scored 10/10. Kum.Pooja & Kum.Siri secured 9.5,

Kum.S.Anjli ,Kum M.Indu, Kum.R.Jyothsna, Kum.M.Pravallika, Master.Sai

Varun 9.3,Kum S.Jyothika, MasterBSRK Prasad 9.2, Kum B.R.Narayani,

Master V.Sree ram and Master A.Tanuj Reddy 9.0.

In classes I to IX we achieved 100 % pass where 70% of the students

from I to V scored A1 grades and 60% of the students from VI to IX have

scored A1 Grades.

The success of our school is due to our meticulous planning and also

the combined effort and hard work of our staff and students.

To promote competitive spirit and to bring out the innate talents of

the students, we encourage them to participate in various competitions.

Our students were given an opportunity to participate in

National Talent Examinations in mathematics, Science, English & IT

organised by Silver Zone Olympiad & Indian Talent

Hand Writing competition by Apsara Pencils.

Bhagavadgita slokas competition by Chinmaya School.

Drawing and Essay writing competition organised by Nature Cure

Hospital, on the occasion of first Naturopathy Day.

Painting, Essay writing and cartoon making by Vijaya Arts Academy.

Spell Bee Competition organised by Spell Bee International.

We are proud to inform you that some of our the students have

reached State, National and International Level in these competitions.

It is a matter of pride for us to announce that 5 of our students from

IV&V classes have been selected for the International level in Spell Bee

competition.

Library :

The gaps which are not filled by education and experience are often

filled by books. Books are lifeline of education. We believe in providing

material for mental growth of children which is as important as providing

necessities for physical growth.

To effectuate this, the library in our institution is stacked with variety

of books which are regularly escalated in a spacious room.

We also have class libraries for classes I, II, III. These class libraries

encourage reading and make the experience of reading even more

delightful.

Apart from this to create awareness among the students about the

importance of books we also conduct Book Clubs & Book fairs with the

co-ordination of Scholastic.

Science Laboratory:

In order to facilitate the children to perform simple experiments, the

management has established a full fledged science laboratory which

enables the students to understand concepts in science by the method of

question, explore sand discover.

Computer Education:

In pursuant of excellence in every direction the institution has a

computer laboratory equipped with all facilities to keep abreast of

advances in science and technology enabling the students to face the

challenges in their future working career.

Smart Class rooms:

To enhance teacher effectiveness and to make learning enjoyable by

making abstract concepts clear to children in the class room lessons are

also taught through LCD projectors provided in 10 class rooms containing

advanced educational software provided by Educomp Solutions. This

enables multi sensory learning in classrooms.

Robotics:

Technology is changing the way people do things in every part of the

world, and this sector continues to expand. In fact, today we observe that

future of the next generation is robotics which has become increasingly

indispensable part of the curriculum. In view of this, we have introduced

Robotics for classes V to IX where our students are trained to program a

virtual robot by integrating various science, technology, engineering and

mathematical concepts.

Co-Curricular activities:

The school has a reputation for providing excellent facilities for co-

curricular activities like-dancing and singing for recreation; Painting, art

and craft to develop creative skills; Yoga for health; Karate for self defence.

Training in these fields develop the child physically, morally, socially

mentally and hone skills in co-scholastic areas and there by enable our

students to participate in interschool competitions and secure positions in

different levels of competition in the above fields.

Further it gives me immense pleasure to inform the gathering that

girls of VII to IX have participated in the dance competition conducted by

Hyderabad Sahodaya School Complex Kukatpally Cluster.

On the occasion of International Yoga Day the students of VII to IX

classes have participated in the yoga session conducted at Gachibowli

Stadium. My sincere thanks to Smt.Malathi Shymala, Director Nature Cure

Hospital, Ameerpet for facilitating our students to participate in the

session.

Behind every sparkling student is a proficient teacher who refuses to

let them be anything but the best they can be. The services of such

teachers are always recognised and honoured.

It gives me immense pleasure to inform you that our senior maths

teacher Smt.K.Varalakshmi has been honoured the Best Teacher award by

Tata Class Edge on the occasion of Teacher’s day.

Student Enrichment Programme:

To sensitize the students about the importance of health, hygiene,

self defence, conservation of environment etc. we conduct awareness

programmes at regular intervals.

To spread awareness on how to segregate the household waste

correctly and uplift the cleanliness and orderliness of our

environment, GHMC has conducted an awareness programme and

enlightened the students on the importance of waste segregation and

role of students in educating their elders and neighbours.

Health is wealth. It is scientifically proven that our life style. i.e from

what we eat or drink to how much we exercise play a huge part in

how healthy we are. To create awareness on the importance of good

food habits and regular exercises the medical students of Nature

Cure Hospital, Ameerpet under the able guidance of Mrs.Malathi

Shyamala Director Nature Cure Hospital conducted an awareness

programme on “What is a healthy life style”

The SHE TEAM a brain child of our Hon’ble Chief Minister of

Telangana Sri .K.Chandra Shekar Rao Garu which stands for safety,

health and environment has conducted an awareness programme

and enlightened the students through songs, dramas and plays about

the consequences of teasing or sexual harassment and the stringent

laws existing to protect the women at open places, on transit, at work

place and the precautions to be taken during transit, workplace or in

open place.

Teachers Empowerment programme:

We believe every teacher is a learner. Staying updated is the key to

success in any field, especially in education. Our management constantly

strive to keep our teachers updated by organising various workshops and

training programmes.

This year our teachers attended workshops and training

programmes

On Academic Subjects, Five Fold Education, Class Management,

Cyber Threats and Safety for children by noted publishers.

Inclusive Education and Process of Evaluation by CBSE.

Investiture Ceremony:

To inculcate the democratic values, leadership qualities and to

involve all the students in the art of Governance, elections are being held

every year in the school to select the School Pupil Leader, Assistant School

Pupil leader, House leaders and Leaders for Sports, Cultural, Discipline and

Cleanliness Committees. The academic sports activities of the school is

coordinated and conducted under the auspices of four houses namely

Gandhi, Nehru, Sastri and Bose. Each house under the direction of Teacher

In charges of House and house leaders organize the literary activities.

This academic year our students elected Kum. O.Poojitha as SPL and

Master. Saurabh Jha as ASPL. Further Jaya Deepika, VishnuVardhan,

Anshul Sharma, & Harshavardhan, were nominated as house leaders and

Master Eshwar Pawan was nominated as Sports Captain.

Festivals of India:

To inculcate the spirit of National Integration, religious tolerance and

develop secular ideas in the minds of students we celebrate all religious

festivals that are common to the people of India. i.e. Batukamma, Ramzan,

Diwali, Christmas etc.; and national festivals like Independence day,

Republic day, to patronize patriotism.

Kritanjali:

I express my sincere gratitude and heartfelt thanks to our

Chief Guest Shri. Etela Rajender garu ,Hon’ble Minister for

Medical & Health for his gracious presence and spending his

valuable time with us inspite of his busy schedule.

I am very grateful to the Chairman of Vodithala Education

Society Capt.V.Lakshmikanta Rao garu for his moral support

and providing better educational facilities.

I am indeed obliged by the presence of Shri.V.Satish Kumar

garu inspite of his multivarious works.

I am indebted to Shri G.V.Ramakrishna Rao garu for

making this day a memorable one for us by his presence.

My deep reverence and gratitude to Shri. V.Srinivasa Rao

garu Secretary of Vodithala Education Society and

Smt.V.Padmasri Srinivas Rao garu correspondent of this

institution for their keen interest in the day to day activities of this

school.

I also thank our Executive Director Shri.V.Pranav for

playing an active and key role in developing and improving the

technology of the institution.

At the outstretch I extend my gratitude to all members of

Vodithala Education Society for their valuable guidance since the

inception of this institution and also for endowing with spacious

and well ventilated class rooms.

Behind every successful programme is the main fold attempts of

our committed faculty. I would like to take a moment to

acknowledge the immense contribution of our dedicated faculty.

My special thanks goes to our parents. The success of every

institute rest on love and support of parents. We are indeed

fortunate to have your unconditional love and support. We look

forward to the same in the future.

I conclude my report by emphasizing that

Social Services:

Besides motivating and imparting knowledge which is helpful to bring all

round development in the students we also emphasize on social

commitment. To this end our school has been doing social service in

various fields.

Annadana programme is often conducted by Gayatri Nama

Sankeerthana in the school premises on several occasions.

Kanti Velugu a free eye check up camp, was organized by Govt.of

Telangana in our school. This camp enabled our students to

identify the vision problems, which otherwise would have gone

unnoticed.

An immunization drive against measles, mumps was carried out

by the Govt .of Telangana in our school where 800 students from

our school and 400 children from our neighbourhood have been

administered the Rubella Vaccine.

We imbibe in our students happiness is found in helping others.

I am glad to inform you that our students have contributed

`45,000 to Kerala Chief Ministers Relief Fund when Kerala was

severely affected by floods in the month of August.

To extend our utmost reverence to the selfless service and

acknowledge the sacrifices of the soldiers especially to the CRPF

Jawans who lost their lives in the recent Pulwama attack, we

encouraged our students to speak about the importance of

soldiers. Students of Class III to IX have delivered rousing

speeches and paid their warm regards to the soldiers of our

nation.

Our school premises is also utilised for electoral work by the

Election Commission of India.

I take this opportunity to inform you that our institution was

applauded for the successful and smooth conduction of TET ,

DIETCET and Junior Lecturer Exams by the flying squad and

higher authorities like commissioner for exams.

National Festivals:

To promote the spirit of patriotism and integrity among the students;

National festivals like Independence Day, Children’s day, Teacher’s day

and Republic Day are celebrated.

Children’s Day:

Children’s day was celebrated with great pomp and vigour. On this

occasion students of all classes witnessed Magic Show and Mimicry

conducted by Spoorthy Event Organizers. We also organised funny games

for the entertainment of students. Students have rejoiced the day with

fervour and enthusiasm .
