Note: Minimum clearance for back wallis 0” with backguard or high-shelf.

Important: This range comes standardwith an Island Trim. There must be aminimum of 6” (15.2 cm) clearance fromrear of range to a combustible wall.Clearances from non-combustiblematerials are not part of the ANSI Z21.1scope and are not certified by CSA.Clearances to non-combustible materialsmust be approved by the authority havingjurisdiction.

CAUTIONBurn hazard. To avoid risk of personal injury;the use of cabinets for storageabove the appliance may result

in a potential burn hazard. Combustibleitems may ignite, metallic items maybecome hot and cause burns. If a cabinetstorage is to be provided the risk can bereduced by installing a rangehood thatprojects horizontally a minimum 5”(12.7 cm) beyond the bottom of cabinets.

CAUTIONTo prevent possible damage to cabinetsand cabinet finishes, use only materialsand finishes that will not discolor ordelaminate and will withstand temperaturesup to 194°F (90°C). Heat and moistureresistant adhesive must be used if theproduct is to be installed in laminatedcabinetry. Check with your builder orcabinet supplier to make sure that thematerials meet these requirements.

• This range may be installed directlyadjacent to existing 36” (91.4 cm) highbase cabinets.

IMPORTANT: The side trim MUST be3/8” (.95 cm) above the adjacent basecabinet countertop. This can beaccomplished by raising the unit using theadjustment spindles on the legs.

• The range CANNOT be installed directlyadjacent to sidewalls, tall cabinets, tallappliances, or other side vertical surfacesabove 36” (91.4 cm) high. There must be aminimum of 6” (15.2 cm) sideclearancefrom the range to such combustiblesurfaces above the 36” (91.4 cm) counterheight.

• Within the 6” (15.2 cm) side clearance tocombustible vertical surfaces above 36”(91.4 cm), the maximum wall cabinetdepth must be 13” (33.0 cm) and wallcabinets within this 6” (15.2 cm) sideclearance must be 18” (45.7 cm) above the36” (91.4 cm) high countertop.

• Wall cabinets above the range must be aminimum of 42” (106.7 cm) above therange cooking surface for the full width ofthe range. This minimum heightrequirement does not apply if a rangehood is installed over the cooking surface.

Note: Minimum clearance for back wall is 0” withbackguard or high-shelf.

Note: If a range hood is installed, wall cabinetsabove the range have a different minimumclearance height.

2. Place an induction compatible piece ofcookware onto the left front element–Leftfront indicator should be solid.

3. Remove cookware and repeat steps forother elements.

h Check oven bake function—bake elementon full power, center and outside broilelements at partial power.

h Convection bake function—bake and broilelements the same with the convection fanon.

h Check TruConvec™ function—TruConvecelement (behind convection fan cover) onand convection fan on.

h Check HI broil function–both broilelements at full power.

h Check LOW broil function—inner broilelement only.

h Check convection broil function—bothbroil elements at full power with convectionfan on.

h Check self-clean function—door will lock in approximately 30 seconds, the centerand outside broil elements will turn on andthe bake element will turn on at partialpower. Check broil elements throughwindow to make sure they are on, thenabort self-clean cycle to unlock door.

Final Preparation

• All stainless steel body parts should bewiped with hot, soapy water and with aliquid cleaner designed for this material. If buildup occurs, DO NOT use steel wool, abrasive cloths, cleansers, or powders! If it is necessary to scrape stainless steel

to remove encrusted materials, soak withhot, wet cloths to loosen the material, thenuse a wool or nylon scraper. DO NOT usea metal knife, spatula, or any othermaterial tool to scrape stainless steel!Scratches are almost impossible toremove.

NOTICEWhen conducting performance test, DO NOT run self-clean cycle for morethan 10 minutes with oven racks insideoven. This could cause them to discolordue to the high temperature required for self-cleaning.
