B. Ancient plane trees Saint Tropez is famous for its magnificent plane trees which provide the tranquil setting at the heart of the Place Des Lices. Villa Chabrol enjoys two fine examples of these wonderful trees.

Kitchen terrace

The kitchen terrace looks through a 19th Century English half round wrought iron overdoor, towards a pair of rare 18th Century two part carved sandstone pier caps of large and unusual form. Reclaimed from an English mansion in Cheshire; circa 1750.

Master bedroom terrace

The master bedroom suite leads to a private terrace, complete with an 18th Century carved stone horse trough and stone fountain head.

Ornately carved mahogany

Both the interior and exterior of the property contain numerous marble architectural features.

Marble

A magnificent carved sandstone overdoor of the sacred heart crowns the main entranceway. Reclaimed from the church of the sacred heart Saint Helens after its demolition in 2004. The church was designed by Pugin and Pugin (Cuthbert and Peter Pugin) and built in 1878.
