33 Students of Second year Electronics & Instrumentation Department of Vimal Jyothi Engineering college had visited The MILMA DIARY, Kannur on March 3 2015. The staffs who ac-companied them were Mr Keerthi Chacko, Mr Shinu M M, Mrs. Marymol Paul. The industrial visit was an eye opener for the students, as they came to know the industrial standards.

Tony Thomas & Tijo Thomas of S6 Applied Electronics & Instrumentation department pre-sented a paper titled Accident alert using GSM technology & Automatic Traffic Light Control for Ambulance in the paper presentation contest DRAV 15 conducted by NIT Calicut on 21 & 22 March 2015 & bagged second prize of Rs 2500.

Namitha Gopinath & Farsana T K of S6 Applied Electronics & Instruemntation Department presented a paper titled Electromyogram Powered Assistive Limb in a national conference conducted by Sree Naraya Guru on 27 & 28 March 2015

Bini Vishwanath, Rayeesa A & Archana Pavithran of S6 Applied Electronics & Instrumenta-tion Department presented a paper titled Automation of Energymeter using GSM in the national conference conducted by Sree Narayana Guru on 27 & 28 March 2015

Shalima M C, Sanisha Sathyarenjan & Soonam Dinesh of S6 Applied Electronics & Instru-mentation Department presented a paper titled Three Phase Generator Automation in the national conference conducted by Sree Narayana Guru on 27 & 28 March 2015.
