Free Wine Tasting for All Nurses!!!

National Nurses Week begins each year on May 6th andends on May 12th, Florence Nightingale's birthday. Thesepermanent dates enhance planning and position NationalNurses Week as an established recognition event. As of 1998,May 8 was designated as National Student Nurses Day, tobe celebrated annually. And as of 2003, National SchoolNurse Day is celebrated on the Wednesday within NationalNurses Week (May 6-12) each year.

To celebrate and thank our area Nurses, a free winetasting is in store for those who venture in on Friday &Saturday!

On Saturday we will have a book signing with HildieMcQueen and Ciara Knight from 2-5 PM. HildieMcQueen is author of The Protector Series and will beintroducing her new book "Desperate Betrayal". Ciara Knight, author of "Curse of Gremdon" will also behere to sign her new book.

Wednesday, May 23, 6:30 PM $10

Wednesday, May 23, 6:30 PM: Your Best Pick Blind Tasting!Here is how it will work. We will limit this tasting to 16 people.Come in and purchase a wine you consider to be the best wine we carry orthe best wine you like. We will place it in the mix of the 15 other wines. Allwines will be covered and blind! You and all the others in attendance willtaste the wine and vote on it. We will continue till all the wines are tastedand scored. Then we will tally up the scores and see which wine comes outon top. You may be shocked!! The winner wins a $50 gift certificate toThe Vineyard!

This will be a sit down type of tasting. As with all tastings, no heavy cologne or perfume please!

Wednesday, May 23, 6:30 PM: Your Best Pick Blind Tasting! Pick the wine you think is the best here at TheVineyard and we will taste it and the other 14 peoples' wine in a blind tasting.

Candlelight Jazz a series concerts featuring the best in live, local music. Click here for the Summer JazzSeries. They begin at 7:00pm, and feature multiple performances. This series begins in May and continuesthrough August. Sunday night jazz at the river!
