User Manual
With Hisilicon Hi3518E hardware platform, this WIFI/IP video intercom
doorbell uses H.264 image compression. Its picture transmission data
is small and power consumption low.
This product is easy and safe to operate. It is applicable under both
LAN and 3G/4G network. Unlock is safer with its sole ID number as
factory unlock password. Restoring factory setting is not necessary if
mobile phone is lost; just make missing devices disconnected by
changing admin password. All events that happen can be recorded.
Moreover, this item has video message function and all important
information will not be missed. Outdoor unit's videos can be remotely
downloaded by mobile devices; removing TF card and downloading
from other terminals are not necessary.
Duplex intercom is used. Without manual setting, network rate is timely
monitored to achieve fluent and simple intercom. 120° wide view angle
camera with real time motion detection function. You can control your
door at any place and in any time.
Please note: outdoor camera must be fixed well in rain cover before
normal user. Magnet in the rain cover has a magnetic sense with
outdoor unit.

●Product overview
1. Pairing: Mobile device auto searches and matches outdoor unit; manual ID and
password input is not necessary. Operation is easy and quick.
2. Information safe: When a mobile phone is lost, outdoor unit's admin password can
be changed by other APP devices. In this way, missing one will be disconnected.
Password verification is needed to door release. As a host, outdoor unit judges
whether password input by mobile phone is correct or not; and whether unlock
password is from connected Android/IOS device.
3. Activities: All activities (including visit info, tamper alarm, motion detection, visitor
message and unlock) can be viewed by APP devices. Outdoor unit's videos can be
viewed and downloaded. Everything at door can be monitored at any place and in any
time.

Red area introduction: when device is online, click red area into video surveillance
interface. When device is offline, click this area to refresh APP. (Please refer to Android
APP interface for other function introduction)

Doorbell's indicator illustration:
●Slowly blink from red to blue: no router connection;
●Fast blink from red to blue: in pairing or connecting router state;
●Blue light is on: connected to router;
●Red light is on: calling
Connect Doorbell with Android/IOS Devices
1. Connect Doorbell with Power Supplya. Correctly connect DC12V power (red wire is positive and black wire negative).
Please refer to power connector in Product Diagram.
b. Fix rain cover well into waterproof case, and wait for about 35 seconds to finish
booting. After beep music, indicator blinks slow from red to blue. Doorbell is in
standby status.
2. Pairing Operation
Steps for Android mobile:a. make doorbell in pairing status: click doorbell's "pairing" key(please refer to its
location in Product Digram) and it alerts "paring". Meanwhile, indicator lamp blinks fast
from red to blue.
b. Make APP into pairing state: ensure Wifi open on mobile and run APP “idoorphone”,
click "Add Device" (see image 1) on APP. APP will auto search doorbell's hot spot;
then doorbell hints "paring success". Meanwhile, "WLAN" setting interface(as image 3)
auto appears on APP; and a image frame shows on APP. After this, mobile finishes
connection with doorbell's LAN.
Pairing status will last for 100 seconds; if pairing fails, doorbell tips "pairing failure".
iOs devices and some Android devices will not auto connect with doorbell's LAN. So
manually linking smart phone to doorbell’s hot spot is a must.) (see image 2)
Steps for iOs mobile:a. Make doorbell in pairing status: click doorbell's "pairing" key (please refer to its
location in Product Digram) and it alerts "paring". Meanwhile, indicator lamp blinks fast
from red to blue.
b. Make APP into pairing state: ensure Wifi open on mobile and manually connect
mobile to doorbell's LAN(as image 4 shows). Run APP “idoorphone” and click "Add
Device" (see image 1) on APP. Then doorbell hints "paring success". Device will
appear on APP interface. (see image 5)
Note: before pairing, if outdoor unit is connected with WLAN by network cable, make
phone’s Wifi linked to this WLAN, click doorbell’s “pairing” key and APP’s “Add Device”
, and do pairing.
3. Network SettingWhen device status is online on APP, click "Settings"-"WLAN"(after above successful
paring, Android APP will auto jump to this setting )-"Scan" (as image 3), select a router
and enter password. Touch "done" in upper right corner. Then APP will be auto back to
the APP main interface. Unit tips “password setting correct". And blue indicator light is
on. After this, doorbell’s Wifi hotspot will be hidden.
Push notification introduction of iPhone/iPad:
1. When APP is running in background and device status online, for any visitor call,
mobile has push notification.
2. When APP is running and device status online, double click iphone's "Home" key,
drag APP, slide it up and stop APP working. Then push notification of doorbell calls will
be sent to iPhone.
If APP is exited in APP's "About" interface, mobile can't receive any push notification

Note: one doorbell can add 4 smartphones and one mobile support connection with
max 4 outdoor units. Intercom lasts for 2 minutes and is auto end after 2 minutes.
Doorbell ringing duration is 30 seconds for each call; then if needed, visitor can leave
message after beep.
b. After doorbell is connected to router: make doorbell into pairing status; connect
mobile's Wifi to router, ; click "Add which must be same one that doorbell is linked to
device" on APP (please refer to "Pairing Operation").

1. Main SettingsTap "settings" for each basic function setting( as shown image 6). Click "Done" button after each revision. Please note below settings must be done when device is online.
a. User settings: revise device’s admin password. The initial password "admin".(see image 7)
b. Motion Settings: enable or disable motion detection function and select sensitivity. (see image 8). Normally "High" option is recommended.
c. Date & Time: synchronize device’s time with mobile time. Click "Done" button after revision. ( view image 9)

4. Add Additional Device to a Doorbella. When doorbell is not connected to router: make doorbell into pairing status, link extra
phone's Wifi to doorbell's LAN and click "Add Device" on APP interface (please refer to
pairing operation).

Click ”Activity”and all activities can be previewed (included records of call, tamper alarm, motion detection, visitor messages, unlock and illegal unlock). Photos/Videos can be directly browsed or videos be downloaded.(image 14)

d. Unlock Settings: unlock password and Unlock Duration can be revised here. Click "Done" button after change. "Enable Pairing" button can take the role of clicking doorbell’s “pairing” key.
e. TF Card: check capacity of TF card and reformat it. Max supports 32G memory card.
f. Device info: check doorbell software info and manually upgrade latest version.
In device info, iOs APP has additional "Reset Push". Click this button after each software upgrade to ensure push notification workable.
2. EditDevice can be deleted(image 10), name revised(image 11) and new admin password entered(image 12).
Please revise admin password on “User Setting”.

All call, tamper alarm, motion detection, visitor messages, unlock and illegal unlock will be recorded in Activity in photo format. Videos of visitor call, messages and tamper alarm are also available.
iOs APP: if "1" appears in APP icon's upper right corner on iPhone screen, it means there is new activity. Check detailed info into Activity list; then "1" on icon will disappear.
a. TF card insert: take outdoor unit out
from rain cover and correctly insert TF
card(refer to right diagram).
b. TF card remove: push card hard once
and card pops up.

Unlock by Outdoor Unit's Keypad
1. Unlock door by smartphone
In video intercom status, touch "unlock" icon, enter unlock password and click "ok" for
confirmation; "lock opened" appears on APP.
2. Unlock by Outdoor Unit.
On door bell, enter unlock password by keypad and confirm with "#" key; APP wil have "lock opened" push notification. If input password is wrong, doorbell tips "password incorrect". In case of continuous wrong password input by 3 times, APP has "illegal unlock" push notification. In case of continuously inputting wrong password 5 times, unlock by outdoor unit is disabled in 10 minutes. "unlock" and "illegal unlock" images can be viewed in activity list.
3. Unlock Technique
Doorbell unlock has anti-peeping hidden function. For instance, if password is 123456, user can enter "xxxxxx123456xxxxx" (x can be random number; max 20 numbers can be identified). Doorbell unit will auto recognize valid password. Press "#" after password input. If it is correct, then door opens.
Tips: Unlock password could be revised in "unlock settings".

6-digital unlock password is put in color box. Please keep it well. It can be revised in "Unlock Settings".
If phone screen is off and into long-time standby status, APP might stop running. Below mobile settings may help:
1. Settings> Permission Manager> Notification Center> idoorphone.
Enable "Allow notifications" and "priority display"(view image 15).
2. Settings> Permission Manager> Protected APPS> idoorphone
Enable “protected” (as image 15).
3. Settings>Networked apps> idoorphone
Enable “Mobile data” and “WLAN” ( as image 16 shows).

Installation Instruction
a. Punch suitable holes on wall, put screw stopper and fix rain cover on the wall with screw;
b. Connect power cable (hole diameter 16-30mm) as per wire connecting diagram. Make power cable out from wall hole in case of indoor charge; get cable out of rain cover bottom and connect wire for outdoor charge.
c. As above image, put outdoor camera from the top into rain cover, then push camera bottom and confirm its top tightly in shield. Fix unit bottom with matching screws and install screw cap.

Outdoor camera should be installed 1.4-1.7 meter above floor and avoided from direct sunshine.

1. Paring failurea. iOs devices and some Android devices do not support Wifi auto switch; manually linking mobile to doorbell’s Wifi hotspot is necessary(see image 2). Then do pairing again.
b. When additional mobiles need pairing to a same outdoor unit, they must be connected with the WLAN that doorbell links with.
2. Device status is offline or disconnection.
a. Check whether doorbell is connected with router (see if blue indicator is on) and confirm that wifi/3G/4G signal is available on mobile.
b. Ensure network speed about 50k/s under intercom. Poor network will cause disconnection and delay.
3.Doorbell status appears"user name or password incorrect"
Admin password is revised and need log in with new admin password.
Frequently Asked Questions
4. No response or notification from smartphone for visitor calls.
a. Android devices: check whether network is available to both doorbell and smartphone; and whether APP is running.
b. iOs devices: check whether network is available to doorbell and smartphone.
5.Frequent alerts from motion detection
Tap "settings" on APP, select "Alarm setting", then choose "High" sensitivity normally. Other sensitivities are for special environment.
6. No push notification for iOs devices
a. Click "settings" button on iphone/ipad, click "notification" button and enable "allow notifications" for idoorphone APP.
b. After doorbell's software upgrade, resetting push notification is necessary .
Detailed steps as below: tap APP’s "setting" button, click "device info" and "reset push"button. It will take about 10 seconds to finish resetting.
Installation Attention
1.Avoid sheltering or covering camera's light sensor;
2.Protect camera from direct sunshine;
3.Ensure correct wiring otherwise device can't work normally.

The steps in detail
1. Simultaneously press both chime’s volume and melody button. Meanwhile, assemble two 1.5V AAA batteries into container. The red indicator will keep blinking fast.
2. Press doorbell's "call" button(ensure doorbell connection with power) and red indicator lamp will blink once. Connection of chime and doorbell is finished.
