A highly confi gurable quality control inspection system – VINi - from Industrial Vision Systems lets you automate repetitive critical inspection of your VIN and serial number scribes with high accuracy. VINi uses artifi cial intelligence to provide mission critical character recognition and quality inspection criteria across the entire production marking cycle.

With adaptable sensor controls to cope with the body-in-white environment, VINi inspects even in the harshest conditions. VIN data can also be compared to robot and PLC information for full track and trace of vehicles through production. Images can be saved for later recall and warranty issues.

VINi is very easy to program, off ers fast set up, is highly accurate and provides peace of mind for fi nal quality checks on any scribe, stamped, etched, printed and marked character and logo sets. Sensors can be mounted on a robot arm or positioned in a fi xed location.
