What’s This All About? We held our first New England 1OOO in 1993. Since then, we’ve organized 12O rallies, and there’s more fun on the way! Vintage Rallies is still privately owned by Rich & Jean Taylor, and we still personally plan and present every event.

What? Each Vintage Rallies event is a 5-day, 1OOO-mile tour/rally for sports cars 1995 or earlier, or any Exotic. Southwest Passage 2O22 is 15OO miles and six days!

Charity? Each event benefits different local charities in North America, well over $2,5OO,OOO so far!

Rally? Our events include easy Time-Speed-Distance stages on public roads, plus occasional closed-course Special Stages. You can take part in our rally, or simply follow the lovely route we’ve person-ally planned and pre-driven, enjoying the scenery, the roads, the ambience and your special car.

Where? Over some of the most beautiful and least-travelled byways in North America. All driving is on paved, two-lane roads...no highways, no big cities, no dirt nor gravel. Our roads range from glori-ous sweepers to tight switchbacks. There are no finer Grand Touring roads in the world! Who? You and a friendly group of enthusiasts we think of as our “Extended Family Group.” Each of our events is restricted to 5O cars...another reason to reserve your entry immediately!

Grand Hotels, Gourmet Meals! We stay only in the best hotels and resorts available, enjoy breakfast, lunch and dinner in the finest restaurants. You’re free to concentrate on your driving and having a great time. Our attention to detail is legendary. Everything is handled for you, from route books to carrying your luggage. Our events are all-inclusive: luxury hotel rooms, breakfast, lunch, dinner, wine and beer with din-ner, snacks, experienced vintage car mechanics, everything! Your only added expenses are personal charges and gasoline for your car.

Gifts and Prizes! You won’t have to pay extra for prizes and clothing, and great gifts are included in your entry fee. Our mailing list is strictly confidential.

Special Services! Accompanying every Vintage Rallies event are trucks to pick up broken cars and experienced vintage car mechanics to get you quickly back on the road. We even supply a complimentary sports car for you to drive during the rest of the event if your own rally car declines to proceed as planned.

Paperwork! Drivers must have a valid U.S. or foreign driver’s license. Cars must be insured and regis-tered for use on public roads. We don’t drive our rally cars at night.

Whether you’re comparing strategy at a Checkpoint or the day’s adventures at dinner—or simply sharing an after-dinner drink with other guests—there are lots of opportunities to make new and lasting friendships. One of our unique Vintage Rallies will become your favorite week of the year!

Sunshine! Fresh Air! Twisty Roads! We think the best way to put Covid-19 behind us is a mix of sunshine, fresh air and driving a vintage sports car on scenic mountain roads!

In the past 12 months, we’ve held four sold-out Vintage Rallies in Virginia/North Carolina, Texas Hill Country, New Hampshire/Maine and West “By God” Virginia. We observed common-sense Covid rules, nobody got sick and everyone had a great time!

In 2O22, we’re celebrating the 3Oth Anniversary of New England 1OOO in Vermont and Adirondack Mountains, plus revisiting Santa Fe, New Mexico and Colorado on Southwest Passage, one of the most popular events we’ve organized during three decades of fun. In 2O23, we have a new Spring Mountain Mille in Kentucky & Tennessee, Fall New England 1OOO in Newport, New Hampshire & Maine plus Texas 1OOO in Austin, the Gulf Coast and Texas Hill Country.

Many couples plan their calendar around our rallies, relishing our unique combination of fun-filled days, private collections, museums, luxury resorts, superb meals, fabulous scenery, challenging roads, fascinating people and the chance to spend five or six days connecting with old friends and making new friends while enjoying their special car. PLEASE JOIN US!

MAY 15-2O, 2O22 3Oth Annual!1995 or earlier Sports, Racing or GT cars...plus a separate class for Exotics.

Join us for a Gala Celebration, 3O years since our first New England 1OOO! SUNDAY, MAY 15 We’ll assemble for an informal Concours de Sport at The Equinox Resort & Spa. Founded in 1769 and newly-renovated in 2O21, The Equi-nox is a Grand Hotel in Manchester, the most cosmopolitan town in Vermont. There’s everything from Orvis fly-fishing and Land Rover off-roading to Armani, Polo and Vineyard Vines. Manchester is on Route 7 and equally convenient to I-87 and I-91. If you’re flying in, we’ll pick you up any-time after Saturday breakfast at Albany International Airport or Rutland Regional Airport, an easy connection from Boston. We can safely leave tow rigs for the week. Jean will book rooms for you Friday and Saturday night, if you’d like to arrive early to look around. Dinner will be at nearby Wilburton Inn where we started New England 1OOO in 1993! Overnight at The Equinox. MONDAY, MAY 16 We’ll rally to the historic 18O1 Old Tavern in Grafton, driving some of our favorite roads in Cen-tral and Southern Vermont. After lunch, we’ll loop back to dinner in Manchester and overnight at The Equinox.

TUESDAY, MAY 17 We’ll rally North from Manchester, stopping at the famous Vermont Country Store on our

way. We’re planning lunch at a fascinat-ing car collection in New Hampshire. After lunch, we’ll rally through The Northeast Kingdom and Smuggler’s Notch to the Lodge at Spruce Peak next to Mount Man-sfield, near Stowe. Overnight and dinner at this luxuriously-modern mountain resort.

WEDNESDAY, MAY 18 From Stowe, we’ll rally along the shores of Lake Champlain and Lake George to lunch, then through New York’s Adirondack Mountains to Lake Placid, where there’s lots to see and do. We’re planning a cocktail cruise on Lake Placid, then dinner and overnight at traditionally elegant Mirror Lake Inn, built in 1883 as a private mansion, turned into an Inn in 1924 and owned by Olympic Medalist Andrew Weibrecht and his family since 1977. It was totally restored in 2O21. THURSDAY, MAY 19 There’s a spectacular drive through the Adirondacks to Saratoga Auto Museum in Saratoga Springs, NY where we’ll cater lunch amongst the cars, before heading back to The Equinox for overnight and our gala 3Oth Anniversary Celebration in The Colonnade where we held our first Victory Banquet in 1993!

FRIDAY, MAY 2O After another lavish cruise ship-style breakfast, New England 1OOO is over till next year...except for new friends and great memories!

More news as it develops!Note: All photos on these two pages are from 1993 New England 1OOO, including Rich & Jean with Vermont Governor Howard Dean.

In 2O23, we’ve decided to try some new ideas. For starters, we’ve swapped the tra-ditional dates of New England 1OOO and Mountain Mille, plus we’re exploring an area of the the country that we know well, but that we’ve never used for a rally. Something different...that’s always fun! We call it Horses+Horsepower!

SUNDAY, MAY 7 The Kentucky Derby is the oldest continuously-running sports event in the United States, having first been held in 1875. In 2O23, it will be on Saturday, May 6 at historic Churchill Downs in Louisville, KY. Starting Friday, May 5, we’re booking rooms at the incredible twin luxury hotels in nearby French Lick Resort.
