Due to COVID-19, we want to ensure the safety of our supporters, so are excited to present our first virtual Gala! We know you’ll enjoy this new and unique take on our Shades of Hope Gala. This online virtual experience is sure to bring fun and excitement into your home. Guests from across the country will enjoy an exciting evening with entertainment, musical performances, a wonderful auction, and more; all to support the important work of IMPACT Melanoma!

The evening also features the Suzanne Donahue Keeper of the Hope award, an honor bestowed to an individual or corporation who has made outstanding contributions to the world of melanoma awareness and prevention. Suzanne’s passion and inspiration are passed on through this award. Past honorees are listed at www.impactmelanoma.org.

Your Skin Is In is an educational program that encourages teens and young adults to make a personal promise to protect the skin they’re in. An interactive eLearning lesson helps bring this important education to classrooms nationwide.

Practice Safe Skin aims to decrease the incidence of melanoma and skin cancer by partnering with organiziations to place sunscreen dispensers in public recreation areas. These dispensers provide free sunscreen and help increase sun health awareness throughout the community.

Skinny On Skin teaches beauty professionals how to recognize suspicious moles while performing common salon services and talking to their clients about seeing a health professional.

Support is offered both for patients dealing with the realities of melanoma and their caregivers. These groups are led by trained professionals skilled in working with cancer patients. Our Billy’s Buddies program provides patients with one-on-one support and guidance with a Buddy who has been through a similar experience.

Safe Skin At Work provides the tools to create a workplace culture and policies that promote sun safety. Without protective sunscreen and clothing, your employees are exposed to dangerous UV rays for several hours every day.
