About the VirginiA AntiquAriAn
booksellers’ AssociAtion
The Virginia Antiquarian Booksellers’ Association, founded in 2004, is a 501(c)3 nonprofit corporation. Its mission is to enhance cooperation among sellers of used, rare, and antiquarian books, autographs, maps, and ephemera in Virginia and to increase awareness of the book trade in our state. VABA represents a full spectrum of Virginia booksellers, including online merchants and by-appointment dealers, as well as bookbinders and conservators.
Are you a new or long-time bookseller, bookbinder, or ephemera dealer interested in joining VABA? Contact Michael Pyron for information. In addition to the support of a community of booksellers and bookbinders, VABA offers print and online listings for your business; access to the VABA listserv where you can initiate and participate in email discussions about relevant subjects; and discounted booth rates for the annual book fair.
