  • Even though Virginia Woolf had many hard times with her childhood and past experiences, she overcame many obstacles to become one of the best writers in the Modern Era

  • Modern literature was at an all time high from 1910 to 1920It featured such writers such writers as, Joseph Conrad, Robert Frost, Ernest Hemingway, James Joyce, and many other talented writersIt is debatable to say that the Modern Era was the best time when it came to the greatness of writers

  • Born on January 25, 1882 in London EnglandLeslie Stephen and Julia Stephen were her parentsShe was homeschooledHer dad had a library1 sister, 2 brothers

  • Had several panic attacks since the age of 6Her step brothers sexually abused her and her sister till their teen yearsWhen she was 12 she jumped out of a window and because of a nervous breakdownMom died suddenly because of heart failure when she was 138 years later her dad died of old age

  • She used her personal life and it was brilliant writingShe traveled all around the world to get inspirationsUsing current events to make short stories
