The Chevrolet Suburban offers more third-row passenger and cargo space, and it achieves the same fuel economy as the Tahoe. The Suburban can also tow more than the Tahoe if you opt for the three-quarter-ton model.

The Ford Expedition impresses reviewers with its well-designed interior and third-row seats that simply fold down to increase cargo capacity. The Expedition’s maximum tow rating of 9,200 pounds is also significantly higher than the Tahoe’s maximum tow rating.
