Our Vision
• Helping children get off the streets and back into school in Managua, Nicaragua
• Using education to break the cycle of poverty
• Fostering strong and stable families to support our children
What We Do
• Provide hope to some of the world’s poorest children through education, food and clothing
• Give children their childhood back
• Show love and support to children often neglected by society
How We Do It: VISEDAL’s Child Sponsorship Program
• Children attend school, don’t work on street
• Each family receives $20/month food stipend per child in program
• Supplies, tuition covered• Children also receive
weekly English lessons• Donors from USA
currently sponsor 14 children
Lives Transformed
• Before: Children washed car windshields and begged for money on a major street corner
• Now: Children attend school and supplemental English lessons

• Official non-profit recognition is pending
Why We Do It
• Three children asked Waugh for money in October, 2007
• Waugh took them to lunch
• In time, Waugh and Johnson got to know the children and their families
• The pair recognized how education could help prepare the children for brighter futures
