“PSNT” Prod Server: Has Process Scheduler and Tuxedo. Runs
Crystal and nVision online reports. Contains Crystal, SQR and Nvision
report code (.exe, .ini, .rpt, .xnv).
CR-Batch server (Summit Rpt servers): Used for running batch Crystals and handling transfer functions. No Process Scheduler / Tuxedo. CR-Batch is a 2-tier login.

User-run Crystal/nVision reports
1. Users are prompted for information like business unit, through date and operator ID. They can see the output via Process Monitor with Details -> View log/trace . They can download report files to their PCs.
Production nVision reports
2. Summit staff (Karen or Wayne) run nVision reports on the Summit online system. program They show up under reporting: Reporting tools -> Report administration
Financial Management reports (ASP)
Run against weekly and monthly SQR extracts. Interactive; the lowest level of detail looks at real-time transactions.
3. SQRs extract summary data from SUMMIT8 and populate tables in TIGER for Financial Management Reports.4. Users key in parameters for runtime reports, which are displayed on their PCs and not indexed or saved. ASP (Active Server Pages) uses SQL queries to generate the reports.
Accounting reports (Crystal, SQR, Nvision, Excel extracts)
These static reports saved along with data on the web. 5. Crystal Reports run via batch VB.net process – invoke public queries on SUMMIT8 and are saved ...6. Reports are then transferred to SummitAsp.
Control reports (SQR)
These batch-run reports track the progress of batch processing.7. SQRs create reports that are transferred to the summitRpt server …8. Reports are then transferred to SummitAsp.
