Our Mission Statement

“Brown Rock Elementary” has a welcoming and caring environment for students, faculty, and families. We believe in and maintain strong

partnerships among students, staff, families, and community. We believe these partnerships assist all students in achieving personal excellence in academics and in life, critical thinking, problem solving, personal development, and community

awareness. As a staff we believe that every child can achieve success every day.

Curriculum-Teaching-Learning-Assessment Philosophy

Curriculum must be focused on improving student learning. Implement “Green Light Means Go!” Program focusing on

each grade level meeting academic milestones by tracking individual student achievement on a green light (achieved), yellow light (caution), or red light (needs improvement) scale.

12-K Instruction-based learning: Curriculum is aligned with the student’s full academic career in mind.

DiversityO “All-For-1” Philosophy: Promoting diversity in all
