The provision of significant levels of green space within and around theVision, including the creation of a green coastal path and active travel‘loop’ promotes improved health and well-being by presenting activetravel and low-impact outdoor recreational opportunities on thedoorstep of a community with a very poor health record. Not only doessuch provision offer physical health benefits, the opportunity for moretranquil and passive green space also offers mental health benefits.
