DANIEL PLAN Many have heard of and have begun the "Daniel Plan." In the Daniel Plan one learns the power of prayer, the power of faith, the power of letting God's spirit refocus your thoughts, the power of fellowship and community in a supportive small group. Most of all, one learns the power of God's spirit inside you, helping you to make the changes God wants to make and you want to make. For real change to take place, we have to come to the place where we stop thinking we can change on our own and start trusting God to create the change within us. Many have expressed an interest in beginning a group at the Belpre church. If you are interested in this, please contact Sharon McClead or Ruthie White. THE OFFICE OF ADMISSIONS AT OHIO VALLEY UNIVERSITY OFFERS OPPORTUNITY FOR EMPLOYMENT! OVU is seeking an Associate Director of Admissions. This individual is responsible for recruiting and enrolling qualified candidates to Ohio Valley University. Call Kay Grose at 304.865.6230 for further information or forward resume to [email protected] NEW BULLETIN FORMAT Within the next few weeks, we will be seeing a new bulletin!! The new program will be friendly to visitors, highlighting ministries and helping new people connect to the family here at Belpre. COURAGE TO CHANGE The Courage to Change ministry will begin their special speaker meetings on the third Thursday of the month starting March 19, 2015. The first guest speaker we have scheduled is Brett Hower, our student intern. He will be speaking about the book Gods at War by Kevin Idleman. He will tell how reading this book changed his concept of sin and changed his thinking about spiritual matters. Several of us have read this book and highly recommend it. We have three copies available to borrow from the Courage to Change resource room. Join us March 19 to hear Brett. If you would like to borrow the book, see Mary Ann Thorn. LOVE IN ACTION Since we are in the midst of a flu epidemic, nationwide, remember we have hand sanitizers available at each entrance of the building. Another $1000 donation has been made to Disaster Relief. Please remember to fill the baby bottles also and return them to Sharon or Anita. Suppose someone asked what the mission of the church is......how would you answer? Although the church accomplishes many tasks, its only message to the world is the gospel of Christ. When we are truly committed to getting the gospel out, God will reveal what work He is calling us to do. He has a place for every one of us—nobody is insignificant or unusable. The limiting factor is not the Lord's ability to use us but our availability to His call. May we all be more available this year!
