Lori Bell
23 January to 27 January 2020
Lori is a Doctor of Chinese Medicine and an Astrologer
who has used both skills to bring balance and harmony to
her patients. In her 20 plus years of study, she continues
to see and experience the overlaps between astrology and
her practice as an acupuncturist. She supports her clients
who struggle with health issues, life challenges and the
strain of life in general and uses both techniques to help
heal them.
Doctor John Sanchez
01 December 2019 to 21 January 2020
Johns’ curious mind led him to science and nature and
then on to seeking a career in the health field. He holds
a degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine, and is also a
Licensed Acupuncturist, massage therapist. Yoga and
Qigong teacher. With over 11 years’ experience and
7000 treatments performed, he uses his whole array
of techniques to help achieve every clients’ health and
wellbeing goals.

Amanyara would like to introduce David Melladew L.Ac.
our Wellness Immersion Manager. David has overseen
several of Aman’s Wellness Immersion Programs at
locations such as Amanoi in Vietnam, Amanyangyun in
China, and Amanemu in Japan. These programs aim for
a “Life Transformation”, creating physical and mental
wellness by changing your daily life.
David received his Master’s degree in Traditional
Chinese Medicine and he is a National Board Licensed
Acupuncturist and Herbalist in the U.S. David has also
formally studied martial arts and qigong for over 20 years
and has spent time at Buddhist monasteries in Nepal,
Korea, and Bhutan learning meditation practices. David
was drawn to Traditional Chinese Medicine by his interest
in Asian philosophies, and his love for the medicine’s
blend of science, artistry, meditation, and the need for
self-cultivation.
Geshe YongDong
18 February to 22 February 2020
Geshe YongDong knew from the age of 7 that he would
pursue a spiritual path. He entered the Tibetan Nangzhig
Bonpo Monastery at 13 and after years of study and
meditation was awarded the Rajampa Geshe Degree, the
highest degree in Tibetan monastic education. Travelling
to Nepal and India, Geshe La was taught by both His
Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama and His Holiness the 33rd
Menri Trizin Rinpoche.

With more than 15 years experience, Andreas has become
an expert in ergonomics, health coaching, sports injuries,
back and neck pain. His aim is to support his patients from
rehab to recovery. His passion lies in creating a healthy
balanced lifestyle and in building a way to enjoy everyday
life. Designing treatments around each clients’ needs, his
core belief is “everything is possible with basic teaching”.

Marikos’ journey started in 2004 whilst traveling in India.
During her time there she learned about Ayurveda and
meditation. Her thirst for further learning led her to move
to Thailand, where she worked at the world renowned
Chiva-Som International Health Resort. During this period,
she expanded her repertoire and learned Chi Nei Tsang,
Tai chi, Qi Gong, Cranio Sacral Therapy, Myofascial
Release, energy healing and more.

Hongxun, Lama FoRe. Dr Shen is the founder of the Buqi

disciplines which Sheila studied intensively with the
grandmaster over thirteen years. Sheila practices the
spiritual teachings of Sowa Rigpa (Traditional Tibetan
Medicine). This healing uses prayer, meditation and
visualisation.

Azusa Segawa

Originally from Japan, Azusa is a Wellness Practitioner
specializing in Chi Nei Tsang. Azusa is certified to
Chi Nei Tsang Level II by Universal Healing Tao under
Grand Master Mantak Chia and Khun Ni in Chiang Mai,
Thailand. To support her practice, Azusa has undertaken
Vipassana meditation retreats since 2003 and attended
many buddhist teachings by Tibetan Lamas including His
Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama in India.
Julian Martin–Sebastian
15 November 2020 to 10 January 2021
Julians’ interest for Bodyworks started in Australia 15
years ago where he studied sports injury rehabilitation and
remedial massage. After his studies he worked alongside
chiropractors and physiotherapists in Sydney treating
rugby players for pre and post-games massage. Soon
after, he opened his own practice in a Sports club and then
in a medical center.
