    Being creative is

All humans are able to produce at least moderately creative work in somedomain, some of the time and that the social environment can influenceboth the level and frequency of creative behavior.

Creativity is the production of novel and useful ideasin any domain. In order to be considered creativity, a product or an ideamust be different from what has been done before. But the product or ideacannot be merely different for differences sake; it must also be appropriateto the goal at hand, correct, valuable, or expressive of meaning.

Innovation is the succesful implementation of creative ideas within anorganization.

    Types of visual research:

    Hand drawing of various related

    ideas

    Imagination and Observation

    based.

    Exploration on various elements/

principles to create out of the

    box composition

    Ideas Journal/Sketchbook

Very recommended to get as manynew visual possibilities (and to

    increase scores)

    Drawing something forces you to

look at it, really look at it. Youll

notice, too, that your skills will be

sharper, and youll gain a new

    appreciation for your surroundings.

Try as much to draw on location

    (indoors or outdoors), capturing what

    we see from direct observation.

You might start by a keyword, theme, word,

brief, etc. then you continue with a series of

    sketches, drawings, thumbnails, photographs

in which you explore the possible ways of

    investigation.

This kind of visual thinking could enable to

generate initial ideas and to identify what

source material you will need for your

research. It could help you to explore more

than one starting point as well as possible

alternatives on the topic you choose.

LIVE SKETCHING is more about the

experience rather than the result. If you

make sketching part of your routine and

continue with it, you not only end up with a

work of art in your hands, you create a

    factual journal of your life.

The sketches bring back memories in a way

photos dont , evoking the sounds, smells, and

recollections of the places in which you

    created them.

    Some quotes..

Creativity is subtraction, its the thing we choose to leave out. Keep a log book, which you list the things you do every day.

Inertia is the death of creativity. Establishing and keeping a routine canbe even more important than having a lot of time.

Modern art = i could do that + yeah, but you didnt (craig damrauer)

Complain about the way other people make software by makingsoftware (andre torrez)

Youre only going to be as good as the people you surround yourself

    with.
