Prof. Ghoshal spoke about his association with CJMC and remembered his special class on Tagore’s Music. He also enthralled the gathering with a beautiful rendition. Prof. Sen mentioned about her headship at CJMC. She feels that the students of the department are as energetic as they were before and they set an example to the other students of the university. Prof. Mukherjee expressed that she feels the absence of CJMC students at IGC and conveyed her best wishes to all. Dr. Nimai Chand Saha mentioned that he always feels to be a part of the department. Comparative Literature Assistant Professor Dheeman Bhattacharya mentioned about his experience while taking classes with the students from which he has learnt a lot. He also presented a Rabindra Sangit in his melodious voice for the audience. 2] VISVA-BHARATI CHRONICLE: REUNION ISSUE

Holding on to Culture and tradition, is one of the major identity of Visva-Bharati. The performances of Assamese songs, Punjabi songs, Nepali dances, Lathi dance, and Bengali Folk songs were nothing less than a roller coaster ride from Eastern, Western to Northern and Southern parts, uplifting the diverse classical and folk culture of our country. Performances by CJMC faculties motivated and enhanced the grandeur of the programme.

Shrutipurna Mitra(Batch 2006-2008)

It is really a great experience to be a part of ‘CJMC Retour’. We are looking forward to see more such retours/reunion. Juniors made the event successful Everyone’s participation is really commendable. It’s a team activity and its great. As per my opinion “If you want to be first, you have to go alone”, “If you want to go far, you have to go alongwith”. Juniors have proved that they will go far.

Payel Ghosh(Batch 2006-2008)

It has been a long time since we left CJMC but coming back for Reunion 2016 has been an awesome experience as we got to meet our seniors, juniors and most importantly our respected teachers. The programmes are really exciting and entertaining. The arrangements are excellent and we got a heart touching welcome from our juniors. ‘Retour’ has been a grand success and I along with my friends, juniors & seniors enjoyed a lot.

Purabi Das(Batch 2009-11)

I have never imagined that I would witness such a grand event Retour-16. The journey of two years 2009-11 was full of mesmerizing events, which still makes me happy. Today at Retour-2016 the inaugural speeches by teachers took us to our old days, at IGC which was rejuvenating. I would say that our juniors have really made it a day for all of us and I am quite sure that we are going to have many more such reunions in future.
