    together, and then share aloud your ideas for new poems.

    & English). Preregistration is required for all poets who would like to read; call 413-263-6846, or sign uponline. Mara will accept as many entries as can be accommodated in this two hour reading. Copies of the

    poets books and audio materials will be available for purchase.

    Ekphrasis:This creative workshop allows poets to nd inspiration from displayed paintings, sculpture,and/or other visual arts, and to then write poetry in response to that inspiration. Its fun, and always very

    popular. Adult poets of all stages are welcome, including novices.

    Award-winning multilingual poet and educator, Mara Luisa Arroyo has facilitated numerous

    poetry workshops, including the 2012 Split This Rock Poetry Festival in Washington, D.C.,

    and has performed in various parts of the country and in Puerto Rico. Her publications include

    Gathering Words: Recogiendo Palabras(Bilingual Press: 2008), Touching and Naming the Roots

    of This Tree (self-published chapbook, 2007) as well as many poems in various journals.
