As part of the organizational realignment of the Continental Powertrain division Ingo Holstein assumed the position of Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) of Vitesco Technologies effective 1 October 2019. He had already headed Human Relations (HR) at Continental Powertrain since January 2019. Before this, he had been head of HR in the Continental Tires division since 2010. He has extensive expertise in business organization through human resources work as well as in executive support and development.

After studying political sciences at Freie Universität Berlin, Germany, Mr. Holstein joined Continental AG in Hanover as an HR specialist in 1992. In 2000, he took on the role of head of HR at Continental’s headquarters and the German tire trade organization Vergölst. In addition he headed the recruiting office of Continental. In 2005, he was promoted to head of HR Corporate Functions, being responsible for HR principles and policies for the Continental group. In this function, Continental appointed him in 2007 as HR project lead for the integration of Siemens VDO. Later he additionally assumed responsibility for talent management, before being was appointed head of Human Relations for the Tire division in 2010.
