NGO committees take on an important role and bring significant contributions to the UN by collaborating in the work with ECOSOC commissions, committees and agencies.

The formulation of political action in each sector of specific activity, through ECOSOC commissions depends largely on experiences in the field, stories of on-site visits and recommendations made by NGOs working in developing countries.
