It is 1666 and Vlad the flea and his friend Boxton

the rat, love eating and biting their way around

London.

But one night in Pudding Lane they are caught up

in a fire that threatens to destroy them, along

with most of the City of London.

My picture book, Vlad and the Great Fire of London is now available on Amazon and can be sold directly in a book signing event.

Through storytelling and drama, I work with classes to explore the events of September 1666, with the help of Vlad the flea. The session is interactive and fact-filled with plenty of discussion. As a qualified, experienced teacher I can lead the activities and help to identify and challenge misconceptions. Each individual session costs £75 with discounts available for more than one session on the same day (subject to confirmation) and includes:

a one-hour session for up to 30 children, or an assembly

all necessary resources

a follow-up lesson comparing refugees 350 years ago and now

the chance for the school to recoup the costs through £1 donation for every book sold in a book signing event
