VMSD believes in the power of giving back to our community, especially through education and mentorship. Building VMSD believes in the power of giving back to our community, especially through education and mentorship. Building upon this belief, we have started the “VMSD Young Talents Scholarship Award” in 2013 in collaboration with Raffles College of Higher Education. Since then, we have been giving out scholarships worth S$10,000 to four full-time students annually.

We hope that this initiative will serve as a form of recognition to the young, budding talents. It also serves as a means of support and encouragement towards the building of a more open, vibrant and sustainable creative environment in Singapore.

For the second year running, VMSD was engaged to conceptualise, design and manage the nation wide road shows that seek to reach out to the brand’s target audience.

To showcase the versatility of the Knorr stock cubes, a rustic market was created in tandem with a digital kitchen. By choosing their preferred soup base and ingredients through a special app on a touch screen, the soups were prepared and served almost instantly! Singaporean award-winning and celebrity chef, Daniel Koh was invited to curate and craft a series of seven soups from around the world.

In support of the sustainable seafood movement in Singapore, VMSD was appointed the agency to undertake the conceptualization, design and production of this event.

The highlight of the Ball was an exclusive coral-themed collection specially designed for the occasion. The hand-sculpted collection was created by Asia’s top couturier, Frederick Lee and is the brainchild of Creative Director, Dr Loretta Chen.

To cap off the evening, a one man stand-up comedy, directed by Chen and starring Actor Dwayne Lau, was crafted to entertain the well heeled guests. The theatrical tour de force shared insightful anecedotes on the importance of eco-diversity as well as the preservation of the coral triangle.
