How Can You Save Money In Your Business?

Petal A Memory - Michele MonstrolaMichele was staring at her wedding bouquet one day sitting on a shelf with no purpose. She thought to herself, “what can I do with this?”. With her creative mind, she created her first mat. Soon after that she had two family members pass away and she created mats for her family members. Her friends and family insisted that she should go into business. At first she hesitated, thinking who else out there would have an emotional attachment to flowers. She did her research and found no other company out there offered what she was doing. And that’s how Petal A Memory was created.
Michele dries flowers from any occasion. Once the flowers are dried, she uses the petals to create a mat to hold a photo in a picture frame. Each mat is created specifically for the person who is receiving it. During consultations, we go over many options with the customer. For brides, Michele can add almost anything to the mat that was important for that Big Day including pieces of their wedding gown, rhinestones, pearls, invitation, parent’s corsage or boutonniere, etc. For funerals, Michele can help the family pay tribute to their lost one by creating a mat just for them and can include prayer cards, locks of hair, rosary’s pins or patches.
Petal A Memory has been in business for 7 years and the business is expanding to include keepsake ornaments. Michele is a member of the Norwin Chamber to build relationships with other members and companies.
For more information on Petal A Memory contact Michele at 412-823-2772 or [email protected].

“I enjoy being an Ambassador for several reasons. It allows me to meet new members of the Norwin Chamber, while doing that I can help them network with other individuals. I feel that I have developed not only a network of business partners that I can rely on, but also close friends throughout the years. It is nice to be a part of a close-knit community”, states Andrea.
