An incentive package was created by the City’s Office of Economic Development and was approved by the Sugar Land Development Corpora- tion to secure the retention of 100 jobs and expansion of an additional 113 jobs in Sugar Land. “The City of Sugar Land is proud to be the home of Team Industrial’s corporate head- quarters,” said SLDC President Steve Porter. “Sugar Land con- tinues to be an economic pow- erhouse in the region thanks to our pro-business climate and family-oriented quality of life. We look forward to a continued partnership with Team.” Team’s merger with Fur- manite approximately doubles the size of Team’s mechanical services capabilities and estab- lishes a deeper, broader talent and resource pool that better supports customers across stan- dard and specialty mechanical services. S UGAR LAND - On November 20, 2016 CRY (Child Rights & You) hosted its 13th Walk- athon at Lost Creek Park in Sugar Land. CRY Walk was organized across 16 cities this year. CRY America supports organizations in India and the USA and has transformed the life of over 618,915 children across 3084 villages and slums so far. Mousumi Banerjee, 2016 walk lead, asked Pandit Su- man Ghosh to inaugurate the walk. Guddi Shah and Ravali Bhavaraju did a great job in- troducing the entertainers and keeping things on schedule. Children from Tagore Soci- ety enthralled the audience with their singing and musical talents. Dance numbers cho- reographed by Ruchika Dias of Bollywood Shake kept the crowd entertained. A video showing CRY’s efforts in help- ing children in Sunderbans, West Bengal was played. US Desi Girls danced to the latest Bollywood songs. This was followed by a talk by esteemed guest Dr. Nik Nikam M.D Car- diologist, author & talk show host who also answered ques- tions. Pawan Sonti, Mohan Kothapally & Arushi Banerjee were the top 3 finishers of the 5K run. Great W’kana café, Madras Pavilion and Kurrywallah pro- vided amazing food for the run- ners and walkers. SUGAR LAND - Team Industrial Services Inc. has announced plans
