FRESH START!Spring is traditionally a time of

renewal, growth and hope. It is a time “when the hounds of spring are on winter’s traces” (Algernon Swinburne) and we can go forward from the trials of the past few months with a spring (no pun intended) in our step!

This prime time of the year brings stunning weather as ‘blossom by blossom the spring begins” (Swinburne, again) and we are reminded anew how lovely Palm Beach can be. Strolling down Worth Avenue, poking into the little bougainvillea-laced Via’s, wandering into the wonderful variety of shops and eateries, sitting in the quiet serenity of the parks and gardens, watching the ocean’s twinkling waves…it surely is paradise!

We will be highly accessible to customers all over the United States and pay particular attention to our buyers in the European and Asian markets. The result of this Search Engine Optimization plan will greatly increase our visibility world-wide and enhance our core-site software abilities through key word, label and product searches and by utilizing our “Wish List” capabilities. So,

no matter where you spend your summer and vacation, you will always have the ability to check in for new arrivals, see if any items on your “wish list” are waiting for you or just browse through the inventory of our fabulous shop!

We accept new or nearly new footwear and our customers are always on the prowl for fresh merchandise!

January and February were busy months for Classic Collections and various

charities! We were delighted to provide a

substantial amount of clothing to the Salvation Army Women’s Auxiliary Fashion Show and Luncheon on January 30th. As a result of this donation, the Salvation Army was “able to raise funds to help several projects” wrote Jeanette Wright, President of the Women’s Auxiliary of Palm Beach County.

We were also able to make a large donation to the POSH (Lighthouse International) Fashion Sale held in mid-February at the Colony Hotel. Melinda Porter, POSH Operations Director of Palm Beach said “your contribution makes possible the many programs and services of Lighthouse International”.

Further, we continue to offer the Palm Beach Pet Society Book, benefi ting Save-A-Pet and other pet charities for $20 in our shop. We have had great results with sales and hope to generate more over the next several months. If you love animals and don’t have one of these FABULOUS coffee table books, come on in! It is terrifi c!
