OnJanuary14th,2018,theVikingsplayedtheSaintsattheU.S.BankStadiuminSaintPaul,Minnesota.Inthelast10seconds,StefonDiggsranintoathicketofplayersintoa61-yardtouchdown,nearlylosinghisbalancebeforerunninguntouchedintothehardearnedendzone.

TheVikingswonthegameastimeexpiredontheplay.ReceiverJariusWrightclaimsthatStefonDiggsrunsallthetimeinpracticebut,hasneveractuallycaughttheball!

BeforeStefonDiggsamazingtouchdown,thescorehadbeenneckandneck.TheSaintswereaheadbyONEpoint.Itwas24-23,andtheSaintswererejoicing.NotreallypayingattentiontotheVikings,theydon’tnoticeStefonasheruns,makeshistouchdownandthegameends.

Onedayatschool,myteacherdecidedwewouldgotheanimalshelterandcheckoutthedogsandcatswhowereattheshelter.Thenextdaywewenttotheshelter,andwesawalotofcats.Somecatswereinjuredsotheytoldmehowtohelpmyclassmateshelpouttheinjuredanimals.

SoIsawthislittlebabykittenwho’sfamilyabandonedhim.Iwenttogohelpoutthekitten,andhislegwasbroken.Ifeltreallysad.Iwrappedthelegaroundacastandtheytoldmethatthecatwouldfeelbetteroncetheyatemore.(continuedonPage2)

FelineRescueisanorganizationthatletsfostercatsandkittensliveinvariousfosterhomesorshelters.Thisisagreatapproachbecauseifpeopledon’tliveclosetoananimalshelter,theycangotothefosterhomethatthecat/kittenisat.Alsoitletspeoplegotoanuncrowdedareathattheycaninteractwiththeirpossiblenewadditiontotheirfamily.Andonefinalthing,theyalsohaveawebsitethatyoucancheckout.Itshowsallthecatsandkittensandgivesalltheirinfolikewhattheirnameis,iftheyhavehadalltheirshotsandmuchmore!Soifyourfamilyhasbeenlookingforacatorkitten,checkFelineRescue!

MyPassionateHobby:CookingBY:AmalShariff Myopinionisthatcookingisthebesthobbytohavebecauseitcanbeveryusefulinlife.Cookingismyhobbyandhasbeenforseveralyears.IwasaboutfiveyearsoldwhenIstartedlearninghowtocook.CookingissomethingthatIinheritedfrommygrandmother;mygrandmotherwasaprofessionalchefandownedherownrestaurant,whereIlearnedhowtocook. AfterIfinishgettingmynursingandbusinessdegreeIwouldliketogotomygrandmother'srestaurantandopenitbackupforbusiness.TherearesomanyreasonsIlovetocook.Cookingisoneofthosethingsthatjustcomesnaturallyforme,andIthinkIinherited,becauseIcancookalmostanythingandnailitonthefirsttry,muchlikemygrandmother.ButthemainreasonIlovetocookisbecauseitkeepsmestressfree.Forexample,whenIamcookingIhaveverylittletimetothink,becausethecookingischallengingmymindandtakingmymindoffthestressofeverydaylife.

IhavehadotherhobbiessuchasagatehuntingbutwithagatehuntingIfoundmyselfgettingfrustratedbecauseIcouldnotfindanyagate’sanditeventuallybecamemoreofaheadachetryingtofindthemthantheywereworth.ButwithcookingIcanalwaysfindwhatIamlookingforanditisnotfrustratingliketryingtofindinglittlepebblesinthesand.

IknowmanypeoplewilldisagreewhenIsaycookingisaskillthatisessentialinreducingtheirstresslevels,butitworksforme,anditalsoenablesmetoexpandmycookingabilitiesandmakesmeabettercook,andagreatcookisalwaystryingtofindnewwaystomakecookingandstimulatinglikeme.

Onedaytherewasafullmoonandalittlestarnexttothemoon.Angela&Hamdawereabouttowishtheirwishtothelittlestar,butsomethinghorriblehappenedtothelittlestar.Acometcameandcrashedintothelittlestar.Shefellandfellandfelluntilshehittheearth.Angela&hamdawentrunningtowardswerethestarfell,theyweredeterminedtohelpthelittlestargetbacktotheskynexttothemoon.Theyhadaplantogettothehighesthillandthrowhertowardsthesky.Thatseemsimpossibletome.Butfirsttoevengettothebiggesthilltheyhadtogothroughahaunted(butnotmuch)forest,abridgethatwasover2000yrsold,andadragon’scave.Sotheyallstartedwalkingwhenthelittlestarstartedtocry.Shelookedsosadsotheyaskedwhatwaswrong,andthestarpointedouttothemoon,whichwasalsocrying.Idon'tknowifthat'swhatyoucallitwhenmoonrocksarefallingtotheearth,butanywaystheythoughtshemissedthemoon.Iguessthemoonwashercompanysincebirth.Theytoldthestarthateverythingwasgoingtobeo.k,sotheystartedwalkingagainuntiltheygottothehaunted(notsomuch)forest. Garnet,Crystal,Ruby&Praxidikethatwereplanningongoingonatriptothewoods,andthedayfinallycame.Theywereverygoodgirlfriends.Twogirlsmetupatonepark.Theothergirlsmetupatanotherparksincetheylivedalittlefarawayfromeachother,buttheyfinallyweretogetheratthecampinggrounds.Theysetuptheirtent,tookoutthecoolertoeat,andtheymadesomeS’mores,too.TheyplayedsomegamessuchasTruthorDareorNeverHaveIEver.Theyeventoldghoststories.Praxidikewastellingastory“Fourgirlsthatwerechasingtheirdogthatwaschasingtheirhorse,butatthetimethattheycaughtboththeywereinthedeepestgroundsofthewoodsandthattheywerewalkingonewaytoseeiftheycouldgetoutsomehow,butthentheyallfellintoatrap,eventhehorseanddog.Thetrapwasadeepdeepdeepgroundhole,andpeoplesaythattheystillroamthewoodstryingtodigtheirwayoutofthewoodsandhole.”ThenthegirlswerefrightenedaboutwhatPraxidiketoldthem,buthey,that'swhatghoststoriesareallabout.

Lateronitcametobe6:00,andyouknowhowdarkitgetsatthattime,sotheyhadtheirelectronicsandwatchedamovieononeoftheirtablets,andwhilewatchingthemovietheyallfellasleep.Theyhadabigtentwheretheyallslepttogether.Laterat12:00.Sapphirewashungrysoshewentouttogetsomethingfromthecooler.Shegrabbedabagofgummysapphires(ofcourse)andsomewater.Shewentbackinthetenttoeatthegummiesanddrinkherwater,butsheheardanoisecomingfromthebackofthetent.ThenGarnetgotupcauseitwaskindaloud.ThenRuby,Crystal,andPraxidikewokeupaswellsoascuriousastheyweretheywereterrified.CrystalaskedPraxidike“Areyousurethatghoststorywasn'treal?”Praxidikesaid“Idon'tknow.IhearditfrommysisterGanymede.Shetoldmeit.Shetoldmetowatchoutforthemtoo.”“Ididn'tlistentoher,though.Ithoughtitwasatrickformenottocome,nowIknowitwasn't.”
