Lord Christ's Message of Love ...

T he year gone by robbed us of our health, happiness and peace. After spending this miserable year under the agony and fear of Coronavirus, everyone looks up to the New Year with a hope that it

turns out to be a year of healing, relieving humanity of the health crisis and paving way for normalcy in our lives.

The Corona catastrophe has taught us many lessons - the prime one being how we have been living under the false sense of happiness. It made us seriously ponder over what is real and everlasting happiness and how it can be attained. We all are in a constant pursuit of happiness. The understanding of happiness varies from an individual to individual. Most of us seek happiness in material wealth and luxuries of life, high social status, and successful career. But the pandemic has demolished all these myths. Gripped by greed and unending desire, we remain dissatisfied with whatever we have and yearn for bigger and better things. We depend on external factors for our happiness which is temporary and only leads to our unhappiness.

Most of the time we feel unhappy because things don't always happen exactly the way we want. We make our life miserable over things we don't have. As a result of this, we fail to enjoy or appreciate what we already have. Happy people don't have everything but they not only appreciate what they have but are also thankful for it. If we count our blessings, we will find that there are always reasons to be happy about what Lord Master has bestowed on us. If we look at millions of lesser fortunates- the deaf and dumb, blind, handicapped, orphans or those who don't have even two square meals, we will have realization that with God's grace how comfortable we are. Corona pandemic has shown that happiness lies in caring and sharing with fellow humans, helping especially those who are less fortunate. Living with unhappy memories of the past and the worries of the future also robs us of happiness. Living in the present and taking life as it comes, believing in God's best designs for us, will not let us be unhappy.

We need to realize that we are wasting our precious time in search of happiness outside whereas it lies within. Real happiness is ever lasting. That's eternal bliss that comes with blissfulness of soul. That happiness remains with us for ever. In order to attain that happiness, we need to enrich our soul and ensure that it is in a state of happiness. Our soul will become happy when it becomes one with the Supersoul- Nirankar, the ocean of happiness and peace. Unfortunately, we are not able to keep our soul in a state of happiness due to various ills plaguing it. These ills are all our negative traits like ego, greed, jealousy, hatred, selfishness, dishonesty and narrow mindedness. We can get rid of this negativity and develop positive attitude by getting God knowledge with the grace of 'Satguru' (True Master) and applying it in our day-today life. This is easier said than done. But we can achieve it with the help of three spiritual tools of satsang, sewa and simran, prescribed by Satguru. This will make us one with Nirankar and we will be able to experience the eternal happiness that flows from the fountainhead of bliss- Almighty God.

Let us pray to Satguru that with Her blessings we are able to gain spiritual strength required to heal our soul of all the ills so as to move ahead on the path of eternal bliss.

Delhi, December 5, 2020: During this year (2020), we all are familiar as to how the year 2020 changed our daily routine in life and impacted the entire world. During the lockdown period, triggered by Corona pandemic, even the wealth accumulated by the people could not be utilized. Due to disruption in the means of transportation, commuting from one place to another was severely affected and as such even the expensive cars and homes were of no use.

Since eras together, we have been hearing the words of saints that wealth is not everything and we should not treat it as such. Maya (material wealth) is illusionary. As far as possible, it should be sparingly and properly utilized. Otherwise, the illusionary 'Maya’ has no relevance. Saints have taught humans to refine their life with love, humility, benevolence, respect, etc.

The lockdown phase was not taken purely in the negative sense but as an opportunity to devote more time to the family especially as earlier we were too much preoccupied with our work. It provided us a learning experience. It promoted and strengthened loving ties among

family members. Not just that, during lockdown, we got a learning that the entire world is ours own and we should help fellow beings in distress, as per our capacity.

Humanity is the only true religion; and as humans, we have to adopt it. Unitedly we have to offer love to the world and treat one another as our own and love others without any discrimination. Let this hope and wish prevail that we have love for everyone in our hearts. avoiding a situation wherein one lives in the world but remains unmindful about humanity. We should treat the available resources as mere means and should not base our life on them.

The more we move towards truth and the more love we have in our hearts, the more strongly we will be able to develop the spirit of oneness. Our depth in oneness would accordingly strengthen stability. It is, therefore, prayed before the Almighty that may every life be blessed with divine qualities of love, humility, sincerity, tolerance, immensity, etc., so that we could claim to be the true disciples.

Satguru Discourse

O n this Prayer’s Day, normally held prior to the Annual Samagam, we are sitting before our

screens. Let us pray with our complete concentration to the Almighty to rid the entire mankind of Corona virus to stay healthy and provide freedom from all restrictions on movements caused by Corona pandemic so that each one could move freely. We have to move forward by taking the cognizance of the lessons taught by Corona. While meeting others, we must positively utilize this opportunity and give respect to every one.

The theme of the Samagam is ‘Composure’, or ‘Stability. How to stabilize our minds; how to choose good things with a positive attitude. So many colours of life will cross our eyes but you have to decide which colour you want to choose. We must delve on how to attain Nirankar and understand Him. If with the help of divine knowledge we focus our mind on God and spend entire life in His remembrance, we will remain unaffected by extreme sorrows and happiness.

In the case of a boat, it is the sails which keep

the boat in the right direction amidst strong drifting wind. We can also make our mind stable by making sewa, satsang and simran the basis of our life. This material world will shake us but stability is in our own hands. As long as we base our life on Nirankar, we are stable. When it is based on the Almighty, we are stable. The blades of a fan are fixed to its central portion and it is easy to focus our eyes on that. Like the centre of an electric with which all the blades are fixed. However, it is difficult to fix our sight on blades when in motion and this effort will pain our eyes, and we will also have headache. It is therefore easy to set the eyes fixed on the stable. To attain stability in life, we have to connect with God who has created the entire universe and keeps the planets moving and controls many other things which the science has not discovered so far. If we base ourselves on these moving things, they will cease to exist. Only God is stable and it will never cease to exist. We should keep our focus on Him. May God bless everyone.

Sadh Sangat Ji, Dhan Nirankar Ji!

O rganizing the 73rd Annual Nirankari Sant Samagam in a natural and effortless manner

during the deadly Corona pandemic period could be considered nothing less than an expression of Satguru’s benevolent feelings for human welfare. Normally, negative experimentation in technology is a common subject of discussion. However, the fine and positive use of technology in spirituality was made possible with the kind blessings and grace of Satguru Mata Sudiksha Ji Maharaj. Satguru Mata Ji made an unimaginable looking task a reality. Till now, saints used to

travel from their homes to Samagam grounds. So far, saints had been making long and difficult travels from their respective places to reach Samagam grounds. Saints, coming from far off places, would make preparations months in advance to make it to Samagam and render sewa

there. It was beyond anyone's imagination that the Samagam would take the unprecedented vast virtual form in place of the Samagam grounds extending beyond 650 acre land at the Sant Nirankari Spiritual Complex at Samalkha. It was unimaginable that the virtual Sant Samagam would reach out to every country, town, village and home across the globe. Be it a grand house or an ordinary dwelling unit, saints participated in the Samagam from the safe environs of their homes. They enjoyed every song and speech in the form of blessings, sitting in their homes. Samagam’s canteen or langar was now in every household. The Samagam bliss had spread all over the globe at the places where saints resided.

The joy of Satguru’s arrival in each house through TV or mobile was unique as frequently expressed in devotional songs, viz, ‘Mere Satguru Aae Mehman Mero Mann Magan Bhayo (My heart is just dancing madly as the Satguru is my guest in my home)’, or ‘Aao Ni Padharo Gura Mhare Desh Ji (You are welcome, my Satguru, to my land). Each home, its threshold and courtyard turned pious with the special blessings of Satguru Mata Ji. All these pleasures had the blessings of Satguru Mata Ji who always takes care of each saint’s well being, like a mother for her child.

Truth, Benevolence and Beauty are the uniform and continuous flows of God which cannot be disrupted by 'Maya" (attractions of material world). The pious flow of Ganges finally merges with the ocean in spite of various hurdles on the way. Similarly, the Ganges of Knowledge can never be stopped in any era, situation or circumstance. The Corona Pandemic created physical distances between human beings, yet it gave them an opportunity to come closer at the mental level. Whatever be the period, the world does not stop and the work goes on. Now, post-Corona, the trend of Work from Home (WFH) is being adopted. The Internet has played a vital role in evolving ways and means for humans to stay together and exchange services with one another. Spirituality has not remained untouched from this.

The proceedings of the first day of the 73rd Annual Nirankari Sant Samagam were webcast

on Mission’s website from 4.30 P.M. onwards. It was also telecast on the ‘Sanskar’ TV Channel from 5.30 P.M. onwards. The beginning of the Samagam was made with Satguru’s address to the World (For complete details, please see page 5).

Congregation: 4.30 to 9.00 p.m.

The first day of the Sant Samagam was conducted by Sister Shaileja Ji from NOIDA (U.P.). First of all, she invited Dogra Brothers (Delhi) to recite a verse of Sampuran Avtar Bani. They sang: ‘Rang Hari De Rangya Jehda Jo Karda Ja Khanda E… (Whatever is done or said by the one soaked in His colour lives with Him….)’. The next to be invited on stage was Sister Bhavya & Party (Bikaner, Rajasthan) who rendered a verse from Sampuran Hardev Bani: ‘Nirankar Ghat Ghat Ka Vaasi, Sabke Dil Ki Jaan Raha…(Lord Nirankar dwells in each heart and, thus, knows all that is happening there)’.

This sweet melody created a spiritual atmosphere. Thereafter, Sister Ekta Khosla Ji (Chandigarh) came up and said that at the time of Samagam’s announcement, we all saw a logo of a tree in a human shape. The strong winds were vigorously shaking tree branches, but its trunk was stable and stood firmly as it was strongly connected to the roots of the tree. In the same way, Satguru is keeping the world blessed by providing spiritual stability.

Next, Shri Roshan Balmiki Ji (Dibrugarh, Assam), presented a sweet devotional song: ‘No weapon can cut Him, no fire can burn Him…’.

Experiences about attending previous samagams in person were being remembered by saints. This time, the Samagam itself came

to their homes. The victory slogans for Satguru Mata Ji were echoing in millions of houses throughout the world.

Now, a sister saint from Bheemavaram (Telangana), Shrividya Chouhan spoke about Satguru's message of truth in Telugu language and got blessings of Satguru Mata Ji. Next to come was Shri Suraj Garale Ji from Satara (Maharashtra) seeking blessings through a devotional song. He sang: ‘Zara Si Baat Se Toote Use Aitbar Mat Samjho… (Shaken by trifle matters is hardly a faith…)’.

Revered Shri Gobind Singh Ji (President, Sant Nirankari Mandal, Delhi) expressed his thoughts: ‘Satguru comes in the world only to enjoin mankind with God. One’s life gets blissful when the person gets a chance to see God with Satguru’s blessings. Satguru has graciously granted us the divine Knowledge and accepted us in his holy feet. Let us pray that we keep on taking refuge in Satguru’s shelter and complete life’s journey by promoting the message of Truth. No other task can be better than this one’.

Following these illuminating thoughts, Sister Sangeeta Choprekar & Party (Panaji, Goa) presented a devotional song and praised the Almighty in the Konkani language. Rev. Rashmi Raghav Ji from Gurugram (Haryana) highlighted the term ‘stability’ through her impressive expressions. She said: ‘When we ponder about the word ‘stability’, we remember the words of Satguru Mata Sudiksha Ji who taught us to get connected with Nirankar in case we wish to bring stability in life as whatever appears on earth is temporary, except for Nirankar Himself. Shri Deep Dhir Ji from Melbourne (Australia) presented a meaningful song: ‘Ankhiyan To Parde Lahve, Bhulya Nu Rahe Pave… (He

removes the delusions and puts ignorants on the right path).'

Sister Shaileja now passed on the duty of conducting stage to Shri Vivek Mauji Ji (Delhi). He said that we might not be coming face to face in this form of virtual Samagam. However, this shortcoming is not being felt. Rather, it appears that the Samagam has come alive in its same old grand form. With these words, he invited Sister Balvinder Kaur Gulati Ji from Saharanpur (Uttar Pradesh). She said that if we wish to have everlasting bliss, we should take the shelter of Lord Rama who dwells in us. He would never leave us. We must connect with Him in order to attain stability in this otherwise unstable world.

Sindhi is a fine language spoken in various parts of the country. Shri Anil Gangwani & Party from Sagar (Madhya Pradesh) presented a delightful Sindhi devotional song.

Shri Jitin Bhatia Ji, hailing from Johannesburg, has a great task of spreading the Mission’s message of Truth in the whole of South Africa. He said that the God-Knowledge brings joy in life. On attaining this Knowledge, one comes to know that this Lord Nirankar

SANT NIRANKARIJANUARY 2021

09

is the one running the entire universe. We should remain constantly connected with Him, surrender ourselves before Him and accept Him. It is only then that we can attain stability in life. When a child is in father’s lap, he has no fear even if being bounced in air since he knows that the father is there to hold him.

Sister Arpita Ji & Party from Barcelona (Spain) rendered a devotional song in Spanish language. This song was a special one as it was written both in Spanish and Punjabi languages. Its lyrics were: ‘Jisnu Ik Aas Teri Hor Koi Aas Na… (One who has a yearning for You, cannot be bound by any other yearning…)’.

Rev. Sukhdev Singh Ji from Amritsar (Punjab) said in his forceful voice, that had Satguru not been in our lives, we would have remained entangled in worldly problems. When Satguru came to our lives, we attained stability in our life. Satguru made us believe that this Lord is going to look after us and we should not have any worrisome thoughts. Whenever saints, sages

and prophets came on this earth, they simply promoted the message of truth delivered by Lord Krishna to Arjuna, "I do not vanish in a catastrophe. I am unborn and indestructible. If a devotee is connected with this stable One, his mind never becomes shaky under any circumstances".

Next, Shri Manjunath Ji from Mangaloare (Karnataka) presented a melodious song in Kannada language. After this, a saint, Shri Prakashman Thakula Ji from Tikapur (Nepal) put across his thoughts in Nepali language. He said that a saint maintains the same state of mind in any given circumstances. When attached with the stable Lord, one’s faith would not get shaken in any particular circumstances. During lockdown situation, we all were spending our time with our family. At that time Satguru was constantly teaching us that we should remain connected with Lord Nirankar all the time.

Now it was the turn of poet saints. Shri Rajesh Arora Ji from Fatehabad (Haryana) took the lead. He said: ‘Itihas Ke Har Jiwan Ki Har Tareekh Sikhati Hai… (Every life history teaches us that love conquered all while hatred spared none’.) Next, poet Raju Multani Ji (Delhi) recited: ‘Rubb De Naal Jodh Ke Nata Denda E Rishtedari…. (When we get connected to God, we get related to everyone. No one remains

SANT NIRANKARIJANUARY 2021

10

alien to us and we feel friendly to everyone.) Shri Phool Singh Ji ‘Snehi’ from Ghaziabad (U.P.) expressed his feelings that in this century of countless inventions, materialism is at its peak while spirituality is almost lost. Shri Rajinder ‘Rajan’ Ji from Ludhiana (Punjab) impressed everyone by his poem: Har Kisi Se Na Vasta Rakhna, Bus Khuda Ka Hi Aasra Rakhna (Don't be dependent on others, simply rely on God). After poetry recitals, students of Sant Nirankari School, Avtar Enclave, Delhi rendered a song in Hindi. They sang: ‘Aao Sochen Zara Vicharen, Apne Khayalo Ko Sudharen…. (Let us think about improving our thoughts).'

It was now time to hear the meaningful thoughts of Shri H.S. ‘Upashak’ Ji from Birmingham (U.K.). He said that we all are very much lucky having got this opportunity to participate in this unique Samagam. This day was eagerly awaited globally. We are indeed fortunate as Satguru has blessed all. Life has no meaning and use without stability. If the legs of a table are not steady, it cannot remain stable. Similarly, Satguru has blessed stability in our spiritual life by bestowing God-Knowledge and by providing three legs of sewa, satsang and simran to our life's table. If any of these three is either big or small in size, we cannot remain stable. If we are paying full attention to all the three, then our life is definitely going to be stable.

Sister Supriya Gharat Ji from Uran (Raigarh) presented a sweet Marathi song. Following her was Shri Sohan Motwani Ji from Manila (Philippines) expressing his thoughts in English. He said that the stability of a building depends on its foundation. Stability in economy, politics, etc., cannot remain constant as these change according to circumstances. So is this universe. When the God Knowledge stays in the heart, stability comes on its own. Next saint was Sister Deepali Ji and Shaeni Ji from Hamirpur (Himachal Pradesh) who jointly presented a hilly folk song: ‘Tere Charna

De Balihari Bite Jindari Mere Sari… (Bless me to spend my entire life in your holy feet)’.

Next, Shri Ratan Singh Charak Ji from Jammu (J & K) expressed his thoughts: ‘There is some one who has created and running this universe. There is no other bigger power. This super power is permanently stable even after this universe is lost. The real Truth is the one which is stable and static for ever. Living with Him makes us also stable and alike.

Sister Kamlesh Chauhan Ji from Indore (Madhya Pradesh) presented a melodious song: ‘Manua Ram Nam Ras Peeje…. (Oh My Mind, drink the Nectar of Lord Rama’s remembrance).' Next one was Shri Parvinder Birdi Ji from Victoria (Canada) expressing his thoughts that stability means solidity, i.e., a solid condition of mind. This solidness, steadiness is gained by connecting with Lord Nirankar. Reading spiritual books alone cannot help; stability comes with the grace of Satguru only. In order to achieve it, one has to surrender before Satguru.

The final presentation was from Shri Sonu, Simran & Party from Kharar (Punjab): ‘Sachhe Patshah Tu Layi Rakho Sadia Jadhan… (O My Lord Master! Please keep my root protected in you)’.

Now, it was time for Satguru’s discourse. Shri Punit Batra Ji rendered the pious Manglacharan and everyone was earful to Satguru Mata Sudiksha Ji's holy words.

as per His wishes. With complete focus on Him, we should arrange Samagam - in

virtual form - if not possible to do so in a regular format. The contention

of saints is that we should take Samagam’s beautiful teachings to home instead of limiting them just to listening. These feelings should be housed in our hearts and reflected from our deeds.

This Year Has Been DifferentThis year of 2020 has

witnessed a great upheaval because of the Corona pandemic which almost derailed our routine life. It actually began late last year, but its impact started

to cover wider range of people and countries during this year.

Initially, we heard about people contracting it. Then, we learnt about

Corona gripping those known to us. The corona further expanded its impact to

take our own families in its grip. I also came to know about some saints getting infected by the virus. In spite of such a grim situation, gratitude to God was expressed, although there were instances when young and healthy saints got immersed in Nirankar. But families of these saints still maintained their faith in Nirankar and treated His wish as ultimate to lead the life as per His decision. There were complete ‘lockdown’ situations whereby movements became restricted. We were so used to start our day by attending satsang and refine our character by listening to and imbibing the wise words of saints. But physical congregations were not possible. Even it was not possible to take foot dust of saints as we could not venture out of our homes.

Material Attractions - A DelusionWe have been taking so many things in life

for granted; like breathing air which was now possible only through mask; even the school and college classes turned virtual. It was no longer possible to meet and greet friends and

May Good Words Dwell in Our Hearts and Reflect in our Actions

Sadh Sangat Ji! Say with love, Dhan Nirankar. We are enjoying the first day of this 73rd

Nirankari Sant Samagam in this virtual format. Till now, we had been enjoying the Samagams at the Sant Nirankari Spirituality Complex in Samalkha; or even earlier in Delhi for which it would take months together to get the grounds set and provide grandeur to the Samagam set up. It was possible with the enthusiastic sewa of saints months before Samagam to give a glorious look to grounds for an exceptional Sant Samagam for three-four days. Saints would come not only from different parts of the country, but also from countries across the world. However, it is not the case this time. According to saints’ teachings, we must live

SANT NIRANKARIJANUARY 2021

12

Page 13: Vol. 57 Ð No.01 15/-

relatives with a human touch like embracing them. The norm of keeping social distancing of 2 meters followed by safety protocol came into being. All these years, we never thought of thanking God as these liberties were simply taken for granted. The situations that arose during pandemic were like fantasies read in children’s story books or told while narrating such imaginary stories. But such impacted our lives in reality. We used to hear that Maya (worldly materials) is a delusion and should be kept only for the need based usage and not given priority. This pandemic situation gave this lesson in a practical way in a sense that we could not take advantage of our worldly materials to the desired extent. If someone visited his relatives’ place in a different state, he was stuck there during lockdown. All those fabulous possessions like grand bungalows or costly vehicles kept lying redundant at home.

There are several examples of saints putting their material assets to good use that brought normalcy in their lives. Even in those families where love prevailed but were not able to give enough time to family members because of their professional demands, learnt lessons about the importance of sustained closeness among family members and moulded their lives, having regular interactions, exchanging respect and regarding elders and young ones.

Saints, A Boon For The WorldWhen such a compelling situation arises,

the focus turns to stability. This peculiar situation impacted the entire world. But the saints and disciples who have faith in Nirankar and keep their God connection intact, had moulded themselves accordingly, to avoid any inconvenience. We cannot change the given situation but we have to see how we adapt ourselves to this situation by becoming better version of ourselves, bring improvement in us. The same approach is also to be applied at home also. Saints have always been advising mankind to imbibe human qualities - not to keep an eye on other’s shortcomings but to develop useful qualities in ourselves.

One of the relieving factors observed in such a situation is the spirit of serving and people did all that they could do for others. Several institutions, including our Mission, made various contributions, e.g., converting satsang halls into covid centres, distributing ration, organizing community meals and donating blood etc. Wherever the need arose, the contribution was made with the help of administration officials with full compliance of official Corona protocol. This spirit of service reflected that the entire human kind is our family, without any economic or geographical differentiations. When the humanity has one father, then all His children are also one. We all are same because we are the constituent of Him, part of the Super soul. Even in a difficult situation, such a spirit of service prevailed and everyone made a contribution as per one's capacity. Saints are the boon for the entire world.

The Shape of StabilityRight from first Sant Samagam, following

the old tradition of giving a theme for every Samagam, this year's Samagam was given a theme of 'Stability'. I was also having a feeling that today. We know that everything keeps changing. But Corona situation has strengthened this realization in us that everything can get extinct. This made our mind shaky and we saw its physical, mental and emotional impact on everything. Fear that everything is bound to end has created a deep negative impact in our mind, body as well as conscience. Pondering over it, it is stability which can keep us well in adverse situation. If we are stable, we can steadily move towards normalcy.

What is StabilityComing to stability, we find that this

world is full of uncertainties. Situations may be favourable at some times or unfavourable at the others. Our thoughts also take turns likewise. In such a situation, it is the stability that provides us a balance in life and we make progress. Why should we bring stability in life.

SANT NIRANKARIJANUARY 2021

13

Page 14: Vol. 57 Ð No.01 15/-

Because, when everything reaches its extreme, it makes us either very happy or sad or simply upsets us. Therefore, there is hopelessness in life. Sometimes, a particular possession gives us pleasure in the beginning, but turns into a matter of sorrow at a later date. For example, purchasing a new car is a matter of great pleasure. However, on its way from showroom to home, if it meets with an accident and gets damaged, the pleasure immediately turns into a distress.

How Will The Stability Be AchievedThe question is how to remain stable or

achieve stability. It is simply understandable from an example of a material which is shaking, even if resting on the ground. If we are standing on earth which is shaking, it is difficult for us to create a balance by remaining stable. Take the example of archery. There is a bulls eye target; if we have to take position on it and ensure that we hit it, we have to firmly make ourselves stable. If we don't make ourselves stable, the darts will go haywire and not hit the target. There is another example of us sitting in a boat shaking vigorously amidst strong waves. As it is not stable, we do not know at what point our boat could drown and it will be risky to take its support, as it lacks stability. Take the logo of the Sant Samagam - a tree symbolizing a human standing firmly against all odds, viz, strong winds shaking the tree and branches, yet the tree is stable as its roots are deep and firm in the ground. That is the reason the tree does not crumble. Similarly, man’s life is full of mental imbalances because he passed through different situations. Therefore, one must have strong roots of spirituality to retain stability in life. This stability comes from God. We have to remember Him but not according to our convenience. He is not just a thing to maintain. Like, in a favourable situation, we lose God's awareness and do not express our gratitude to Him. If we want long term stability in life, we need to remember God all the time. And the first step in this direction is to know Him as we will be able to remember Him only after knowing Him.

Only God is StableGod-Knowledge is the only option available

to everyone. When we get connected to this Stable one, we become stable and move towards a permanent joy, normalcy and a balanced life. We can look around and see so many objects. Take the example of nine divinely gates, viz, Earth, Fire, Water, Air, Organism, Sky, Sun, Moon and Stars. We notice that sun rises and set at a scheduled time. Therefore, it keeps changing and is therefore not stable. Looking at the earth, we know that it suffers from waves like earthquakes, floods, etc. Therefore, neither the sun nor the earth and water, moon, stars, air, organism, sky are stable. It is only God which is rock like solid and stable and by whose grace all are in existence. He runs the entire universe. If we connect with Him, we will be able to attain a state of joy. When we give preference to stability in life, then our mind retains a state of naturalness. Then, we will have nothing to complain against the nature and will never get irritated. While living in this world or even amassing worldly materials, we will keep ourselves above them, aloof from false attraction of material possessions.

Having spoken about stability, there is also a need to preserve it throughout our life. For this, we have been given three spiritual tools of sewa, simran and satsang. If we adopt them a, the stability will be maintained throughout. The mind remains restless and keeps running. Let us not try to chain it, nor take compulsive attitude. The mind needs control in order to concentrate on one task. Otherwise, being so restless, it moves around places, like a small child who is advised to concentrate on studies but he wouldn’t find interest in books. Instead, he would enjoy playing with friends or watching TV. His mind, therefore, needs to be given a right direction. The child is to be advised that after the exam, he would find plentiful time to enjoy games. The mind needs to be given a shape so that it takes right course of action and in a natural manner. Like a black bee which need not be told and it would on its own sit on the flower. Butterflies also come on their own

SANT NIRANKARIJANUARY 2021

14

on flowers. Without any compulsion, the mind will connect itself with God in a natural way.

No Cleverness, But NaturalnessA doctor has too often to give medicines

to his patients. If the body is not functioning in a normal way, medicines need to be administered to bring normalcy. The medicine for soul is remembrance of God. More we do God remembrance, more the wandering mind returns to stability. There is an example about the ‘wandering mind’. A person had a domestic monkey and a goat in his house. He went out for a work. Soon after his departure, the monkey, being too smart, opened up the rope with which he was tied. It jumped around the entire house, threw things all over, breaking most of the house utensils. As soon as he heard sound of footsteps of the approaching master, he quickly tied himself with rope. Also, he untied the rope of the goat and set her free so that the master might assume that the entire fault was that of the goat. Our mind also shows such smartness. Knowing well that such action is not proper, yet it would perform it and create an alibi for saving itself while putting others into trouble.

We have to set our mind in right direction. The poets’ court today had a similar theme viz, ‘Connecting with stability, let us make our life natural’. Connection with stability means connection with God. This is the only way out. Connecting with Him will enable us to lead our life in a natural manner. Then, we will not feel the hot and cold waves in life. In other words, worries would not disturb us and we will never be disappointed. Every situation will be taken care of naturally. Until we are stable, things would continue to appear shaky. Once we connect with this Stable One, there would be a lifelong stability.

Let us Be Boon on EarthThere is a reference about a man who was

looking for something in his house. He kept on pushing things here and there. Suddenly,

his friend opened the door and inquired about the mess. The man said he was looking for the watch which was not traceable. He had searched all over by pulling out all the clothes from cupboard, and various other places, but was unable to find the watch. At this, his friend told him to sit quietly on one side of his bed. After a few minutes, the friend showed up with the watch. The man was surprised as he had failed in spite of so much of efforts. He asked his friend as to how he was able to find the watch so soon. The friend replied that once there was silence in the room, he focused on the sound of the moving needle of the watch. This way he could locate the watch. Until we adopt stability, connect ourselves with God, identify our real self, i.e. constituent of Nirankar, it is indeed difficult to stabilize the mind.

At the end, I would pray for stability, connection with God, neutrality, offering services to everyone, and remember God for all the 24 hours. As is written in the scriptures - Remember Him in each breath so that the mind gets free of all worries. As long as God is in our memory, there remains no sign of any worry. Our whole life should be based on Him. When it is so, our mind will be at peace and remain stable. Other human traits like naturalness, devotion, etc., will start coming in automatically. May Lord bless the entire mankind to live like one family, make positive contributions, and offer our services so that every human being becomes a boon on this earth.

Sadh Sangat Ji, Dhan Nirankar! After above pious blessings of Satguru

Mata Ji, the stage was occupied by Shri Vikram Vicky Ji & Party (Delhi) to render Dhuni, ‘Teri Ot Sahara Tera….’.

The first day’s deliberations of this virtual congregation came to an end. Each saint expressed thankfulness to Satguru from the heart, looking forward to the next day (second day) programme that included Sewadal Rally in addition to the congregation.

Afternoon: 1.00 pm to 3.00 pm

Serve Mankind with Humility

O n the second day of the 73rd Annual Nirankari Sant Samagam, a virtual Sewadal

Rally was held. Sewadal volunteers from India and abroad participated in the rally. This time, the centre of attraction for the rally was not the Samagam ground; instead everyone participated

from their respective places. The rally began with salutation to welcome

Satguru Mata Sudiksha Ji. Rev. O.P. Nirankari Ji, the main host, led the Sewadal in the

prayer song: ‘Hey Satguru hey Bhagwan’ (O' True Master, O' Lord). Although it

was a different medium this time, i.e. virtual, what did not change was the

high level of discipline displayed by Sewadal volunteers. Each

volunteer humbly followed the ‘Attention’ command with alertness and composure. Rev. Shubhkaran Ji, co-host (Field and Special), led the physical training session.

In a string of diverse performances that followed, the first one was by volunteers from Hoshiarpur, Punjab. The skit began with a news summary about the covid-19 situation and then

SANT NIRANKARIJANUARY 2021

progressed towards the Sant Nirankari Mission’s selfless and charitable work of door-to-door distribution of ration to the needy across villages and cities. It further portrayed how local government authorities praised the Mission’s work and enthusiastically extended co-operation to Sewadal.

The next performance was by Dahaud, Gujarat Unit; it was based on Satguru’s teaching of ‘Sewa begins at home’. This skit showed how family members lend a helping hand in household chores after listening to Satguru Mata Ji’s discourses. This improves the home environment and makes the home a place of Satsang and Sewa. Sewadal volunteers from Mandi Gobindgarh, Punjab, put up the third performance. It was based on the holy Hardev Bani’s verse, ‘Baras rahi hai har bande par teri krupa aparampaar, Kahe Hardev sada kar paye shukar shukar tera dataar’ (Lord, your unlimited blessings are showered upon everyone, Hardev says may we be grateful every time). Brothers and sisters from Mandi Gobindgarh communicated this message through gymnastics. They started with a warm-up. A healthy body is imperative for Sewa (selfless service). Selfless service is the True Master’s blessing to Sewadal.

Next, they formed a pillar to metaphorically portray a message from the holy Avtar Bani: ‘Only by taking the support

of this One Almighty God can we stay put’. Similarly, a devotee remains stable in all circumstances by taking support of the Almighty.

Their next formation displayed a flour mill that portrayed the message ‘grains that stick with the central nail are not grounded’. Similarly, seeking Satguru’s support can help us stay safe and sail through any situation. With a strong foundation, stability and faith in God, Satguru’s devotee can face any situation and come out of it unharmed.

Sewadal unit members from Pune, Maharashtra, highlighted ‘Sant Swabhav’ (saintly nature). Their message centred on changing circumstances, i.e. they are not the same throughout life. But a devotee is grateful every moment and recognizes that no matter what the circumstances be, it is Satguru’s grace. Besides, a devotee is aware that any chance of serving mankind must not be missed. A Sewadar is ever ready for Sewa. A balance between devotion and worldly responsibilities is necessary and can be achieved only through the constant realization of God.

This was followed by a performance from Mumbai, Maharashtra. Young volunteers of

(source) when it manifests in the human form and seeks God-Knowledge from the True Master.

The next performance by Baramati, Maharashtra unit outlined how ‘we can progress in life if there is stability in focus, balance and the steps we take in life’.

The performance by Malerkotla, Punjab volunteers, brought out the indifference afflicting the world: ‘people are not bothered to help a person injured in an accident; instead, they tend to exploit others’ suffering as an opportunity to garner likes on social media. The act goes on to show how saints, in contrast, push aside every other priority in their lives and come forward to serve mankind. Saints inspire people through their acts.

The Sewadal Rally then progressed towards the marching song: ‘Na Hindu, na Sikh Isaayi, na hum Musalmaan hai, hum hain sewadaar’ (we are neither Hindus nor Christians, Sikhs, Muslims. We are Sewadaars).

Lastly, Sewadal volunteers surrendered themselves symbolically to Satguru through a march past. Rev. V.D. Nagpal Ji, Vice President, Sant Nirankari Mandal, sought blessings on behalf of all Sewadal volunteers. He said, "We are puppets of the True Master. We must follow every command given to us."

Next, a short film was screened. It was a collage of the charitable work rendered by the Sant Nirankari Mission and the Sant Nirankari Charitable Foundation to alleviate the sufferings of covid-19. The film included footage of the distribution of ration to the needy, blood donation and distribution of masks. The film also shed light on Satguru’s teachings about Sewa as the key underlying principle throughout the history of the Sant Nirankari Mission. The Sewadal Rally ended with a discourse from Satguru Mata Sudiksha Ji Maharaj:

Stability in life comes by serving with a stable mind

Saints say with love, Dhan Nirankar Ji.Today, on the second day of this Sant

Samagam, lovely messages were shared through the Sewadal Rally, be it in the form of enactments, games, PT (physical training) or prayer. The

Area 6 and 7 kicked off the mesmerizing act of Mallakhamba (traditional Indian sport that’s a combination of aerial yoga, gymnastic postures and wrestling grips) and a Silk Aerial Act.

The next part of Mumbai’s performance was by the volunteers from Area 2 and 5 based on the message, ‘Gursikh hoye so Chetan hoye’ (A devotee is always conscientious). Here, they portrayed how one saint makes way for the other saint to progress collectively. This is possible only when there is mutual trust and co-ordination.

Then followed a performance by Ferozepur, Punjab unit on the theme, ‘Passion for Sewa’. The performance gave a clear message that Satguru’s teaching is to serve mankind selflessly.

Sewadal volunteers from Nashik, Maharashtra, came up next with the insightful message - ‘living or non-living things all come under the umbrella of materialism’. The moon, the sun, wind, stars, and even molecules are all constantly on the move. The soul can recognize its true home

SANT NIRANKARIJANUARY 2021

18

Page 19: Vol. 57 Ð No.01 15/-

underlying message of all these performances was that despite the adversity caused by the corona virus in our lives, those who managed to keep a stable mind and focused on selfless service, were the ones to live with great ease and maintain stability in their lives. Over the past few months, we have seen how our routines have drastically changed, impacting everyone. I got several calls asking how we can serve during these times. Through the skit presented here, you have seen how the Mission has contributed to society by distributing ration and converting the congregation centres into corona centres. The Mission also contributed towards alleviation of social suffering by working alongside the government and other institutions. At an individual level as well, saints gave importance to Sewa by helping those in need despite various restrictions. Besides, by adhering to the guidelines put forth by the government, saints contributed towards serving humanity.

Service to mankindThis year, Sewa was not limited to wearing

the uniform. Staying at home was also included as service. So was taking care of the family, taking care of oneself or focusing back on work once the lockdown began to ease. Then, as well as now, saints came forward the moment they got to know of someone in need of ration or some other things. A Sewadaar never regards Sewa as a compulsion. The passion for Sewa is not limited to words like ‘It is done as per order’, but is out of inner inspiration to serve before Satguru’s words. It may not be so in some cases. And if sewa is performed as a compulsion, then the primary feeling of serving with a sense of surrender is not there. When required, we must not be available to just serve our family, but the entire mankind. Like we just heard the lines, ‘Mananvta hai dharm humara, hum keval insaan hai’ (we are humans

and humanity is our only religion). This is the very definition of a Sewadaar - to serve as per the need of the hour. We just saw how there was a need for blood donation in these corona times, and how volunteers from the Mission donated blood without a slightest hesitation, as per their capacity. The Mission also organized blood donation camps to serve the mankind.

Passion for SewaEveryone maintained passion for Sewa even

under these difficult circumstances and fulfilled their devotion. If everyone around is scared or worried, saints always look for opportunities to spread the divine word through their karma. Saints served with such intent so as to spread calmness, serenity, and stability in hearts. May the Formless bless us to start congregations in physical form whenever the norms are laid out. And we continue to do Simran (God remembrance) every moment while staying at home. Saints are ever-ready to offer their services and do so consciously. It is a fact that Sewa is neither big or small. So, whatever Sewa is being done, is accepted, if it is done sincerely and with devotion.

SANT NIRANKARIJANUARY 2021

19

Page 20: Vol. 57 Ð No.01 15/-

This year many saints could not come as the Samagam was to be held virtually. Saints used to come and offer their services in the form of langar (community meals), serve at shoe counters or toilets, but that wasn’t possible this year. No one should harbour the feeling of being devoid of Sewa this year. By staying at our homes, we acted as responsible citizens and exemplified Sewa. So everyone’s Sewa in this form is accepted. May God bless each one with the passion and opportunity to serve. May everyone serve with humility and strengthen their faith.

Saints, Dhan Nirankar Ji.

Satsang: Evening 4.30 to 9.00After the Sewadal Rally from 11am to 1pm,

Satsang began at 4.30pm. Stage secretary, Rev. Aman Mahendru from Agra, Uttar Pradesh, said in his opening remarks that stability in life comes when the mind stops wandering. Teachings from saints help us bring about this stability.

Sister Preeti Sangti Ji and group from Amritsar (Punjab) sang a verse from the Avtar Bani: ‘Satguru di bhakti karda jo nirankar de sohale ganda e… (one who is devoted to Satguru and sings in praise of Nirankar…)’.

Next, Akash Ji and group from Agra (Uttar Pradesh) sang a verse from the Hardev Bani: ‘Bhakt prabhu ka kyu kintu mein khud ko na uljhata hai… (A devotee does not engross in whys and ifs. He bejewels his life with devotion…)’.

Rev. Nazir Ahmed Ji from Bundi (Rajasthan) said that just one prayer at the feet of True Master is enough to attain God-Knowledge. Man is lost in the flux of this world without God-Knowledge. When the God-Knowledge is bestowed with the divine grace of True Master, one understands what and where God truly is. Until it is known, one should keep questioning the one who has God-Knowledge.

Rev. Rajkumar Ji and group from Bhilai (Chattisgarh) rendered a devotional song in Chattisgarhi language, ‘Duniya ke chaaron varna aaye mata tumhare charna…’ (All religions of the world come at your feet, O Mother…).

Rev. Payal Chavda Ji from Ajab, Junagarh (Gujarat) shared her thoughts in Gujarati. She said those who do not have God-Knowledge seek happiness from worldly possessions. An enlightened person knows the soul and super soul are one. He surrenders himself to the True Master and attains stability in life.

The Samagam then featured a Nepalese song by children from Nirankari Adarsh Vidya Mandir, Tikapur (Nepal): ‘Deen dayalu data krupa kare…sthirta ko daan deu’ (Oh Lord, we seek blessings devotion and stability from your holy feet…).

Rev. Amit Grover Ji from Sydney (Australia) shared his thoughts in English about strong foundation of life. A palace of truth could stand only on the foundation of the eternal truth, viz, God-Knowledge.

Sisters Bhakti, Shakti and Mukti from Mahoba (Uttar Pradesh) sang a beautiful devotional song: ‘Radha ko mile shyam mujhe aap mil gaye…’ (Radha found Shyam, and I found you…I searched for you day and night and I found you).

Sister Arya Ji from New Jersey (USA), explained in English the need for the world to seek the Mission’s message of God-Knowledge.

Meanwhile Sister Kusumlata Ji from Delhi took over as the stage secretary. She shared how everything in the world has changed today because of the Corona virus, but True Master’s grace remains unchanged. Stillness does not mean stopping physically, it means being stable within.

Saints from Pitthoragarh (Uttrakhand) were invited for a rendition of a devotional song in Kumaoni language: ‘Uddhar kar diyo Satguru

SANT NIRANKARIJANUARY 2021

20

Maa…’ (Your grace sailed us through, O Satguru Mata Sudiksha Ji).

Rev. Komal Paul Ji from Italy shared his thoughts in Hindi and Italian language: ‘One attains true happiness after seeing this stable God (attaining God-Knowledge) and immersing in devotion. When man is lost in the materialistic world, forgetting the Formless, he leads a troubled life. Stability comes getting connected with the ever-stable God.

Rev. Harish Ji & Group from Panipat (Haryana), sang a Haryanvi devotional song: ‘Kaadar shaant sthir thehra se iska kudrat pe pehra se’ (Lord is serene and calm, he oversees creation).

Sister Alka Bhansali Ji from Leicester (U.K.) shared her thoughts in Gujarati. She said: ‘When there is negativity all around us, how can we attain stability within our hearts and minds? Saints explain that stability in the mind, words, and actions comes through God-Knowledge. Mindfulness comes with Satsang. Through Satsang, we introspect our shortcomings and work towards betterment’.

Rev. Sandeep Jayale Ji from Lonavala (Maharashtra) presented a Marathi song laced with classical notes: ‘Chaale hey shareer konachiye satte….(With whose power does this human body function…)’. Rev. Manikandan Ayyar Ji from Chennai (Tamil Nadu) came next. He shared: Our hearts become

vast through unison with the Formless. Ups and downs will come in life. If we maintain our faith in the Formless and True Master, we shall not be swayed. It is a special blessing from the True Master to witness Samagam in this form.

Rev. Jagat Ji and group from Delhi sang a devotional song: ‘Prabhu ji mera mann aisa ho jaye… (Oh Lord! May my heart become such that it gets your devotion and bliss all the time).

Rev. G.P. Chadha Ji from Gurugram (Haryana) said that various saints shared their thoughts today about attaining stability. What is this stability they spoke of when everything around us is constantly in motion? Even our body, made up of the five elements, is constantly in motion. The stability referred to here is of the soul that resides within body. It is the soul that needs to attain stability. Unison with the Formless is devotion and the way towards stability. While travelling by an aeroplane which moves at a speed of about 800km/hr, we do not feel that speed. Someone

looking at the plane from outside can observe it though. Metaphorically, when I travel by this Formless plane, I remain stable despite a ‘moving’ world around me.

Rev. Ganesh Ji and group from Bhilwada (Rajasthan) presented a beautiful song: ‘Guru charna mein mann sthir ho jaaye’ (Let this mind stay in stability,

SANT NIRANKARIJANUARY 2021

21

leaving aside all worries and shrewdness of the world).

Sister Amrit Kaur Dhillon from Kotakpura (Punjab) said that Satguru has made our lives fruitful by bestowing God-Knowledge. He has removed ignorance and dust of so many past births and made us pure. When we surrender to the Almighty, our mind becomes positively inclined.

Rev. Vijay Ji & Group from Bahrain sang a verse from the Hardev Bani: ‘Thahre huye vishal prabhu se jab nata jud jata hai’… (When the mind unites with this calm and immense Almighty, wandering ends, and the mind becomes stable).

Rev. Rajiv Vijalwan Ji from Dehradun (Uttrakhand) shared his thoughts that there exists materialism on one side and the creator on the other. Whenever the mind connects with materialism, we become unstable; and when we

get connected with the creator, we move onto the path of stability.

Poetic SymposiumThe proceedings then turned to the mini poetic

symposium. Rev. Vivek ‘Rafeeq’ Ji from Delhi took the stage and started with: ‘Vyarth tu uljhan main hai mann aise kyu chinta mein pada hai… (O Dear mind, you stay worried for no reason. The source of every pleasure and sorrow (Almighty) is standing with you).

Rev. Gurkirpal ‘Pali’ Ji from Gidderabaha (Punjab) shared his thoughts: ‘Hath hon kaar val chitt nirankaar val… (Let hands move towards work, while mind towards God. If actions are clean, everything is alright then).

Rev. Jasjeet ‘Jassi’ Ji from Ludhiana (Punjab) said: ‘Is paar ya us paar di eh khel hai aitbaar di…Sthir hon di khwaish hai je te le lo sharan aadhaar

SANT NIRANKARIJANUARY 2021

22

di (This side or that side, this game is about faith, If you wish stability, surrender to the True Master)’.

The last poet for the day was Rev. Radheshyam ‘Sathyarthi’ Ji from Mumbai (Maharashtra). He recited: ‘Kyuki mahatma ka mann juda hota hai sthir ke saath…mahatma anand mein rehta hai … (Because saints’ minds are connected with the stable Formless, they have stability and spontaneity…)’.

After the mini poetic symposium, Rev. Magar Ali Ji from Vancouver, Canada, presented a soulful rendition: ‘Avgun dekh na bhul ke vi mere saiyaan… (Oh True Master, do not look at my flaws, I’m yours after all…Hold me by hand, whether I’m good or bad).

Rev. C. L. Gulati Ji, Vice Chairman of the Central Planning and Advisory Board, Sant Nirankari Mandal, Delhi, while quoting extensively from the Avtar Bani, said: The True Master rejoices when we do Simran. When we engage in divine talk, the True Master and the Formless One both rejoice. The True Master is here for the well-being of the world. The Sant Nirankari Mission served the mankind in this Corona time. May we be connected with the Formless One and enjoy a blissful life.

Sister Aditi and group from Darjeeling (West Bengal), presented a Hindi rendition: ‘uth jaag musafir bhoor bhayi…jo sovat hai so khovat hai’ (Oh wanderer, wake up and rise, time for sleep has passed…)’.

Next it was Rev. Sister Raj Vasdev Singh Ji from Delhi. She said that when the soul was enlightened, the devilish mind moved towards stability. This Formless One became part of our enlightened lives. When the soul got enlightened, the devil mind started towards stability. Certain doubts, ego were to be cleared first. The soul

living in body catches dust of the world. However, this Nirankar, the Formless One is immense and benevolent and whichever soul comes in contact with it, is forgiven. May Satguru continue to keep us away from ignorance and keep us with Her.

Rev. Somi Chaudhary from Jamshedpur (Jharkhand) rendered a devotional song: ‘Sachayi hai yaha par achayi hai yaha par’ (The truth is here, goodness here…)’.

Finally, Sister Paramjit Kaur Ji from Ghaziabad (Uttar Pradesh), rendered ‘Manglacharan’: ‘Hey samrath parmatma…’.

Following this, everyone’s attention got centred around Satguru Mata Sudiksha Ji’s blessings in the form of Her address to the entire mankind. Her serene voice spread tranquility to everyone. (The details of Satguru Mata Ji’s congregation on the Second Day will appear in the next edition).

Congregation: 4.30 to 9.00 p.m. We were feeling joyous, having attended the

congregation for the last two days. It was the third and the final day of 'Sant Samagam '. Sonia Nihal Ji of England (UK) while conducting the stage said, "Jaisi bhi ho paristhiti ek si ho manosthiti". For the earlier two days we had been listening to kind emotions. Satguru Mata Ji has been trying to connect us to this 'Stable Entity' (Nirankar) and guiding us to the effect that more we connect with this 'Infinite', more stable shall we become.

The third day's proceedings began with the recitation of Sampuran Hardev Bani by Sudhaqnshu Ji & Party of Ranchi (Jharkhand):

‘E mann mere Sumiran kar le, Sumiran se sukh ayega….(My dear mind, do sumiran, the source of pleasure'.

It was now the turn of Vishal Ahuja Ji from Kapurthala, Punjab. Expressing his thoughts, he said: ‘Why should the mind be connected to 'Sadh Sangat'? Without 'Satsang' it will wander; will raise

questions on all situations. That is why we have been listening to, 'Jaisi bhi ho paristhiti ek si ho manosthiti (whatever the situation, steady should mind’s position)'. Such a state comes only when one remembers that every thing is happening with His consent. I do not have any role; we need to simply surrender completely before Lord’.

After this, Sister Aarti Ji & Party from Chandigarh received blessings of Satguru by reciting a verse from holy Avtar Bani: ‘Shabad Guru da je mann vasse….(If Satguru’s words stays in mind….)’.

Shri Manoj Kumar Rana Ji of Bhadrak (Odisha), speaking in Odiya said: ‘Satguru is Omniscient. 'Nirankar' though omnipresent can't be perceived without the blessings of Satguru. Satguru is travelling every nook and corner of the world to apprise everybody of the fact that the only way to connect with 'Nirankar' is through 'Simran'. Without 'Simran' there is no bliss as it can only be sustained through 'Simran' alone’.

It was time for a Bhojpuri composition by Shri Ramjanam Ji & Party. He sang an inspirational song: ‘Paike Prabhu ke sthir hoi ja, Ram main mann ke layaway… (Attain God and be stable through God remembrance…)’.

It was followed by Rev. Ujay Rai Kalai of Teliamura (Tripura) who expressed his thoughts in Tripuri language. He said that God is one. Yet people consider each of their religions as different. Man will remain delusioned until he surrenders before Satguru, being the physical form of God’.

Thereafter, Sister Isha Narula Ji of Suratgarh (Rajasthan) sang a beautiful Hindi song: ‘Bhakt Yahi Bhagwan Ke Aage Karta Hai Ardas Sada …(A devotee always prays before Lord…)’.

After this, Sh. David Ghanoa Ji of Toronto (Canada) expressed himself in English: 'Every thing continues to change in the material world. Nirankar alone is unchangeable and stable. For the stability of mind, therefore, we need to connect with Nirankar'.

Sister Pooja Deepa Ji & Party of Kolkata (West Bengal) sought blessings through a harmonious Bangla song.

Day 3 : 7th December 2020

Rev. Sachin Jhende Ji of Mumbai (Maharashtra) expressed himself: ‘Love, compassion, empathy, tolerance and oneness originate from God Knowledge. A devotee is always conscious of his actions which reflect God knowledge. God knowledge is not an information or understanding but an effort to emulate this knowledge in life’.

Now, the children of Children’s Sangat (Rohini, Delhi) have been invited on stage. They rendered a verse from Sampuran Hardev Bani: ‘E Mann Rakh Vishwas Prabhu Par Nit Anand Uthaeiga…(O My dear, have faith in God and you will be blessed everyday…)’.

Rev. Sandeep Gulati Ji then joined in as stage secretary. He said that a devotee learns the art of living in Satguru's Court. Satguru, the benefactor, demonstrates at each step as to how to live stability rather than treating it as a word. He then invited Holy Sister Renuka Ji, who said: 'Sans lene mei jo aasani hai mere moula ki meharbani hai (It is the grace of my Lord that I am breathing comfortably…)’.

When the theme of ‘Composure / Stability’ was provided by Satguru Mata Ji, Her guidance was solicited as to how to proceed with this theme. Her Holiness said that it was about an inner state which can be attained by connecting with and surrendering completely before to the Omnipresent Lord. It could be compared to a tree with strong roots and completely in the care of the caretaker. With Godfidence, we can

also face any challenges in life. He is holding our hands. Despite all the difficult situations, the goals would come for themselves to embrace us if we are completely surrendered to Him. At the end, a couplet was read: ‘Dua Dil Se Bar Bar Yahi Chale…(Each time, only one prayer may come in my heart…)'.

It was followed by a composition of Bhupender Bekal Ji melodiously sung by Sh. Gaurav Ji of Hapur (Uttar Pradesh) : ‘Hei Dev Samarpit Kar Paun Her Swaans Tumhare Charno Mein …(My Lord, bless me that I offer each breath in your feet…)’.

After this, Rev. Prabhdyal Ji of Sirhind (Punjab) presented his views: ‘’Nirankari Mission is for salvation of the soul and freedom from the cycle of life and death. How the soul got separated from God and its journey of reaching the human form has been described in the scriptures. This life cycle is continuing even today. Human form is capable of salvation of soul because it is conscious in this birth. Satguru insists to connect with God which will lead to peace and pleasure. It is the road to salvation. May this message continue to spread throughout.

Poetic SymposiumConnecting To The Stable One,

Let us lead a composed life.Poetry is a beautiful impulse of heart whereby

the inspirational and fascinating compositions fill the mind with bliss and far reaching thoughts. These vivid imaginations overwhelm the listeners. This art form of language impacts the heart through beautiful presentations.

The Poetic Symposium held on the last day of the 'Samagam' in the holy presence of Satguru explains beautifully the spirit of Satguru's guidance through the given theme and is also a way of receiving blessings from Satguru.

The first poet invited by the stage secretary Rev. Sandeep Gulati Ji to present his poem was Shambhu Mastana Ji of Mansa (Punjab). His poem read like this: ‘Murshad pea saleeka dassei Chetan ho kei amal kamaiai…'

After him, Baltej Komal Ji of Bhatinda (Punjab) read his poem in Punjabi: 'Saari hi dunia hai apni, sabna nu hi gale lagaye…’.

Deendayal 'Uday' Ji of Gaziabad (UP), a budding poet who expressed his view to get connected with fragrance of devotion as also distribute the same to all. He says: ‘Swayam sugandhit jeevan jee kar ‘Uday’ sadaa sabko mahkayen…’

The poem of Sister Mamta Makhija Ji of Kota (Rajasthan) was about self improvement. She said ‘Nitya ho sewa, Sumiran, Satsang paanch prano par amal kamain…'

There was a beautiful and impressive combination of poems in multiple languages like Hindi, Punjabi, Haryanvi, English, Multani, etc., in this Poetic Symposium. Everybody was impressed by the beautiful deliberations in English on different aspects of 'Sthirta' by Surjit Dhami ji of West Midland (U.K.)..

Dr. Pradumman Bhalla Ji from Kaithal, Haryana's poem inspired to be conscious while being in this material world: ‘Rehna hai maya mein lekin maya ke nahi hona hai… ’.

Sister Ankur Chaudhry Ji's poem was about progressing with a controlled mind: ‘Ghurswar ko rehta girne kaa darr, gar kaske na pakre veh lagaam … ’.

Rev. Madan Sheikhpuri Ji, in his poem, insisted upon following Satguru's teachings in letter and spirit without any shrewdness: ‘Apne jeevan mein Satguru ki shiksha jion ki tion apnakar ….’.

In a Haryanavi poem, Sh. Krishan Kumar Nirman Ji of Karnal (Haryana) gave a message about connecting with 'The Stable' while doing away with the immaterial and irrelevant issues of life : ‘Jeevan sehaj hoye paachye pher Ram naam ka gaan rah…’.

In this multilingual stream of poems, Sister Sarina Naga Ji from London, UK gave a message of stability and spontaneity.

After this, the stage secretary invited Anil Bamania Ji of Delhi who said: ‘Satya Sanatan Nirakar Yo Anant Guno Ka Se Bhandar … ’.

The creative content is presented in different languages. For reciting the next poem of this multilingual Poetic Symposium, next to come is Rev. Inder Puri Ji from Toronto, Canada was invited. His Punjabi poem reads like this: ‘Kai janma daa ladya sir te hauli hauli bhar Ghataiye … ’.

Next poem of Surinder Shah Ji of Ludhiana (Punjab) in Hindi was fascinating: ‘Satguru ke iss chaman ke aao, phool bane hum mehak bhare’.

The Poetic Symposium was getting more and more engrossing. It was now the turn of Sanjay Lehri Ji from Dhuri, Punjab to recite his poem:

SANT NIRANKARIJANUARY 2021

'Mann nu saaf hai jai kar karna gyan di Ganga gote laiae’…’.

Rev. Ashish Bhutani Ji from Gurugram (Haryana) who followed next, beautifully clarified various aspects of 'stability' in his poem in English.

Shri Avjinder ‘Romi’Ji from Montreal (Canada) has been attracting the attention of eminent poe4ts through is meaningful poems. As usual, following lines make a nice reflection of his thoughts: ‘Jo Sach Bole Te Sach Tole, Daran Di Ohnu Lorh Nahi Koi…’.

Sh. Bhupender Dilbar Ji from Mumbai (Maharashtra), through his poem recited in Hindi, insisted upon living a steadfast life and valuing the time. He said: 'Ugta sooraj prakhar dopahri aur sandhya ki dhalti chhaya …’.

The stage secretary now invited Sh. Bhashi Multani Ji from Delhi. He, in his ever familiar jovial style and Multani language, insisted upon connecting with the 'Stable ' to get stable: 'Hankaar ate Nirankar kadhin vee aapas de wich rul ni sakde’…’.

Another known poet, Sh. Sulekh Sathi Ji, in his Punjabi poem highlighted the relevance and necessity of connecting with the 'Stable' to stay composed: ‘Tere mere diyan bhul ke galaan 'Sathi' bus ik ho jaiye …’.

Shri Surjit Singh Ji ‘Nashila’ came up with his fresh composition in Punjabi: ‘Shahanshah Di Amritvani Kadi Kise Nun Bhuldi Nahin E…’.

The Poetic Symposium was towards completion. The last composition of the day's Symposium was by Sh. Bachitar Paras Ji from Giddarbaha, Punjab: ‘Chanan de sagar wich dubian laa laa ke je nikhar gaye haan ’.

After the completion of the Poetic Symposium, Rohit Shetty Ji of Mumbai (Maharashtra) presented a beautiful devotional song melodiously incorporating the teachings of Satguru: ‘Mere Murshad ki shiksha hai ye dunia ko batana hai …’.

Following this, the stage secretary invited Rev. Ramit Chandna Ji who congratulated everybody for being part of the blissful online 73rd Samagam. Satguru accepted our prayers before we even said something. We were skeptical about the holding of Samagam leave aside its arrangements. But we were wonder struck to see it happening in such a grand form and the whole event has become

a life time memory. This year has been entirely different - beyond our thoughts. No body would have even imagined in his dreams that our daily life routine would change so drastically. Satguru Mata Ji also mentioned the same in her discourse. Explaining about the theme 'Sthirta' (Stability), Mataji said that everything was happening with the approval of Nirankar. It is all for our good. This form of 'Samagam' is for our happiness and bliss. The summary is that 'Sthirta 'is a direct outcome of surrender. Stability will automatically beautify the path of devotion. Revered Ramit Ji continued as to how Satguru was one and all in our life. When the teachings of Satguru are imbibed, we shall spontaneously become stable in all aspects. Being blessed by 'Satguru' is ultimate in life. When 'Satguru' gets pleased, there is complete joy. Further, he prayed for the resumption of congregations in their physical form so that everybody could have a holy glimpse of 'Satguru' in physical form. He also prayed for the livelihood of all. He further prayed that teachings of 'Satguru' reached every household. Every single child, be of the Mission or otherwise be happy.

Everyone was overjoyed with these positive feelings and the good wishes. After this, Sister Shehnaj Ji and Party came in with the last presentation of this Samagam. They sang in melodious voice: 'Teri rehmat da boota maa saade sir te tania rahe’… ’.

After this beautiful and enchanting song, it was time for Satguru's holy discourse. Before this, Sh. Ashu Madan Ji of Delhi recited Mangalacharan.

(Satguru Mata Ji’s discourse on the third day of the Samagam will be presented in the next edition).

Refine life with Colours of Devotion

8th December, 2020 (Tuesday): Like each year, Guru Vandana programme began with a customary performance by children from Nirankari Colony, Delhi. Titled Tvamev Matashch Pita Tvamev (You are Mother and Father), this presentation featured classical dance and music, and showcased the devotion and attires of the old saints of the Nirankari Mission.

Saints from Jaipur, Rajasthan gave the next performance. Dressed in a traditional and colourful Rajasthani attires, these saints expressed their joy on seeing Satguru by presenting a traditional folk dance. They got the blessings of Satguru by singing, ‘Aavoni padharo guran saa’ (Please come to our land). The saints’ p e r f o r m a n c e gave the following message: ‘Sant swabhav ho jeevan

mein, dil vishal banao re’ (May our lives reflect saintly nature and our hearts be magnanimous). Next, young saints from Bangalore presented a mime act with the message ‘Choice is Yours’. The gripping act detailed how ‘our choices determine the outcome of the circumstances we face. Right choices beget right outcomes.’

After this performance, saints from Raipur, Chattisgarh, sought blessings from Satguru through their ‘tribal folk dance’. Their faces glowed with fulfilment.

Saints from Amritsar, Punjab, came along next. They performed a skit titled ‘Sthirta’ (Stability). It brought out ‘how man can remain in a state of stability despite today’s adverse scenario’.

A folk dance on the sufi theme by saints from Uddhampur (J&K) enchanted the audience.

A skit by the saints from Mumbai not only evoked laughters, but it was also

thought-provoking with several teachings. The skit portrayed the effects of corona virus on our everyday lives and highlighted

the message ‘kan kan se shiksha’ (Learning from every particle).

SANT NIRANKARIJANUARY 2021

30

Children from Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh, performed a beautiful dance. Saints expressed their immense happiness with all on this pious day.

Saints from Chandigarh presented the second part of the skit they performed last year: ‘Gustakhiyaan’ (Follies). It focused on ‘introspection’. This deeply emotional skit dug deep into our conscience with a fundamental question: how should my life be?

Well-known singers Swaran Ji and Baldev Ji along with Manmohan Ji, another known voice, mellifluously rendered the song ‘Satguru mera jag taran nu aaya’ (True Master has come to salvage the world). They mesmerized all.

Meanwhile, Satguru Mata Ji showered her soulful smiles, delighting one and all. The entire proceedings of Guru Vandana were anchored by Rev. Sandeep Chaudhary Ji

from Bengaluru, Karnataka, and Sister Navneet Naul ‘Ruby’ Ji from Delhi.

After these wonderful performances soaked in the colours of devotion, it was time for blessings from Satguru Mata Sudiksha Ji Maharaj:

Saints say with love, Dhan Nirankar Ji.

This Guru Vandana featured various skits, dances, and other forms of art. The underlying emotion of these performances was devotion. There was a message put forth, unison of the soul with the super soul or being conscious while living in society. The performances also gave a message of ‘enriching our lives through devotion’. If we pay attention, we will find that in the present circumstances, due to Corona, everyone has changed his way of life. Even during this tough phase, we don't have to worry. Rather, we can live beautifully by considering all this as God's will.

In the present circumstances, normal practice sessions couldn’t be organized normally with everyone coming together. Despite being in the same city, everyone held virtual practice sessions. And there wasn’t enough time to practice, given the short notice. Even then, we got to see such coordinated performances. I was made aware of a team member that tested Covid-19 positive en route Delhi.

SANT NIRANKARIJANUARY 2021

32

Page 33: Vol. 57 Ð No.01 15/-

Undeterred, the team immediately made alternative arrangements. Although this member was the lead actor, the team did not think of calling off their skit. Instead every team member held on, came forward and prepared a new actor for the skit within just a couple of hours prior to the performance.

Each saint was full of passion for Sewa made saints to convert this stressed period as a blessed opportunity to reach out to the entire Sadh Sangat. Hence, they did not allow this obstacle to deter them. Realizing this Omnipresent Formless God around, saints themselves create back up to accomplish a service. Then, even if one link of the chain breaks, the other ‘link’ rises to the occasion. Taking along the broken ‘link’, the display of strength and team work was seen. May God bless everyone involved, be it the backstage team, the script team, the choreography team, the music team, and all other teams.

We saw a unique display of coordination and collaboration among all. Though saints from many places could not come here physically to perform, they still received blessings from the Sadh Sangat by presenting their performances virtually. May God bless that the passion and hard work put forth to convey messages for humanity by way of art, continue further. May the Formless One hone their art further while they continue to imbibe the teachings of Lord Nirankar in their

lives by being in communion with the Formless One.

Each saint must endeavour to look into their own life, choose their path and improve themselves. Like a garden with different flowers, we must strive to enhance our fragrance (fragrance of divine qualities), not bothering about the fragrance of others. May the Formless One bless everyone with enthusiasm for Sewa, Simran and Satsang and with a feeling of surrender to the Formless, our devotion gets strengthened.

Saints say with love, Dhan Nirankar Ji.PS:- During the programme, social

distancing was maintained and all other norms and guidelines issued by the government were duly followed.

T he Nirankari Exhibition reflects truly the Mission’s ideology, philosophy and history.

Keeping in view the difficult situations created by Corona pandemic, a unique idea about a virtual form of Nirankari Exhibition came up with the blessings of Satguru Mata Ji during the 73rd Annual Nirankari Sant Samagam. The exhibition was divided into four parts which were shown by rotation on the Mission’s authorized channel on YouTube. The subject theme of this year’s Nirankari Exhibition was ‘Stability’.

The video of the main exhibition was put on the website on 29 November 2020. It included meaningful description of Mission’s basic principles, e.g., God-Knowledge, Guru-Disciple traditional relationship and five oaths. The history of the Mission focussed on the spiritual guidance provided by Baba Buta Singh Ji, Baba Avtar Singh Ji, Baba Gurbachan Singh Ji, Baba Hardev Singh Ji, Mata Savinder Hardev Ji and presently Satguru Mata Sudiksha Ji as well as steps taken by them towards socio-spiritual life style and benevolent actions for human welfare.

In addition, a short play was presented by the Sadh Sangat from Ludhiana (Punjab), effectively

highlighting the importance of the Mission’s basic principles.

CHILDREN’S EXHIBITION was also exhibited through video. It explained that the God-Knowledge attained from the True Master makes our life stable. Four digital models were shown as to how a man’s mind and heart wishes to attain stability at the

levels of family, desire, lust, wealth, necessity, etc. However, it happens only on surrendering before Satguru. The other model depicted the social distancing must also be maintained from negative qualities like jealousy, hatred, etc. To strengthen faith, one must regularly perform sewa, simran and satsang. Simran cleans the dust of the mind. By putting on the face mask of God-Knowledge on the mind, we would neither look at disqualities of others nor absorb them.

DIVINE EXHIBITION: A video was exhibited of the Studio Divine on 2 December 2020 which exhibited glimpses of the 72nd Annual Sant Samagam, NYS (Punjab), 53rd Maharashtra Samagam at Nashik, Satguru Mata Ji’s Salvation Journeys and Sewadal Symposium. It also included various activities performed on 23 February in connection with the Tree Plantation and Cleanliness Drives. Reference was also made regarding regular Group Discussions on God-Knowledge held in each sector through the medium of the Zoom App.

S.N.C.F. EXHIBITION: Another video about the exhibition organized by the Sant Nirankari Charitable Fund (S.N.C.F.) was also displayed on 4 December 2020. This exhibition included various activities undertaken by it in the fields of health, education and empowerment. It also explained about the fourteen developmental activities undertaken in the villages adopted by the Mission, viz, Bhodwal Majri, Patti Kalyan, Panchi Gujran in

Haryana. Further, activities related to construction of a mini dam to improve water problems in the Saiwan area of District Palghar (Maharashtra) were also shown. In addition, various other services like distribution of face masks, sanitizers, hand gloves, PPE kits, plasma and blood donation, etc., as rendered by the Foundation and the Mission during Corona pandemic were also exhibited. Further, it also showed emergency services provided to the cyclone affected victims in West Bengal and Raigarh (Maharashtra).

Lord Christ's Message of Love in action by

sant nirankari Missiona C.L. Gulati, Vice Chairman, Sant Nirankari Mandal, Delhi-9

A mongst the living beings, in different categories, constituting the entire living

world, rare is human birth. Rarer is coming into contact with Satguru (True Master) for attainment of God-knowledge, the primary purpose of human life. Rarer still is the opportunity to serve the True Master for spreading the message of Truth and the rarest of all is to treat all of humanity as your own family!

If we peruse the literature pertaining to spiritual thought down the ages in the shape of scriptures, epics and other philosophic treatises, we can very easily identify all the True Masters, Prophets, sages and seers, who embodied the Mainstream of Spirituality from time to time and transmitted it to their worthy successors for continuing it further and further. It is in this context that it is said, "Prophet is said to be the

oldest and the newest on earth, like the day and night which have followed each other down the ages and are still ever new." (Atharvaveda 10:8:23) Every True Master (Prophet) is not the originator but only the latest revealer of the divine knowledge.

Whenever there is decline of righteousness and the forces of Matter (Maya) tighten their strangle-hold on the human mind, it becomes a cosmic compulsion, a spiritual necessity, to retrieve the situation to normalcy and re-establish the law of Dharma through the instrumentation of Revelation (Brahm Gyan). The Mainstream of Spirituality again manifests itself on the world screen.

This brings out that True Masters, Prophets of God refer to the same Formless spirit although

SANT NIRANKARIJANUARY 2021

35

Page 36: Vol. 57 Ð No.01 15/-

their embodiments kept on changing. They have been basically holding common threads with each other, carrying on and weaving the same pattern of spirituality till date. The four main pillars on which the Mainstream of Spirituality have always rested are, Firstly, Formless God is cosmic and belongs to all. Secondly, His revelation is possible only through True Master of the day. Thirdly, any kind of rites and rituals performed for any length of time, cannot help knowing or seeing God. Fourthly, all the True Masters who blessed the seekers with revelation of one Formless God, taught their disciples to imbibe qualities of humanism, altruism, humility, love, mercy, compassion and service of mankind and their teachings transcend time and place.

The eternal continuity of True Masters (Prophets) with their revelation of one Formless God, the process of humanisation and rearrangement of human relations on the basis of love and humility characterise the main features of the Mainstream of Spirituality in the world. In this background, all the prophets and the acknowledged scriptures are part and parcel of the mainstream. The entire content of spirituality and the essence of humanism belong only to the mainstream.

Lord Jesus Christ the presiding deity and prophet of the New Testament embodied the Mainstream of Spirituality in his life time, with his revealing teachings in the Holy Bible, carrying a crisp message to the weary world:-

"If God is all you have, you have all you need". (St. John. 14:8)Keeping in mind the occasion of forthcoming,

"MERRY CHRISTMAS" it is worth understanding the Holy Message of Lord Jesus Christ in letter and spirit and translate it into action in our life as envisioned in the Mainstream of Spirituality.

THE OLD TESTAMENTAs God is one and Omnipresent, He is cosmic

and common to all. All the prophets of the Old Testament have total agreement on this. God of one prophet is also the God of the other prophets. Being one, god cannot be divided or sub-divided. Only such a God is to be worshipped.

As per the Old Testament, man was made in the image of God, superior to all species, having inherent power to know God.

The prophets rejected the deadwood of religious rites and put forth the concept of true worshipper. As a social being man needs wisdom which is more valuable than material wealth. Changing the hard appearance means making one humble and lovable.

There is also a reference that remembrance of God should begin in youth.

"Remember your Creator in the day of your youth, before the days of trouble come and the years approach when you will say, I find no pleasure in them".

(Ecclesiastes 12.1)The Holy Bible refers to the Ten

Commandments. The first five relate to our love and worship of God, while the remaining five refer to our obligation and service to our society. Like two sides of the same coin, these are inseparable and give us coherent advice, "Worship and love for God and service to man go hand in hand."

THE NEW TESTAMENTThe New Testament and the Old Testament

have integral relation with each other. St. Augustine has rightly said :

The New Testament was in the Old concealed,The Old Testament is in the New revealed."Jesus Christ is the presiding deity and the

As God is one and Omnipresent, He is cosmic and common to all. All the prophets of the Old Testament have total agreement on this. God of one prophet is also the God of the other prophets. Being one, god cannot be

prophet of the New Testament who embodied the Mainstream of Spirituality in his life time.

Jesus clarified that he was continuing the old prophetic tradition and fulfilling their commandment. He said:

"Do not think that I have come to abolishthe Law or the Prophets;I have not come to abolish them, but to fulfil them." (Matthew. 5-17)All this shows that Jesus had nothing different to

reveal to the people. He preached the same as the earlier prophets had preached. His commandments were the same as those of the earlier prophets. Jesus also preached that God is One, Formless and Spirit. The basic commandments according to the Old Testament is:

"Lord is One.Love thy God with all your heart and

with all your soul and with allyour strength."

The same commandment is given by Jesus in the New Testament:-

"Love the Lord your Godwith all your heart and with all your soul;

and with all your mind. This is thefirst and greatest commandment."

(Matthew: 22.37)This establishes kinship of Jesus with all his

preceding Hebrew prophets. He continued the same old tradition enshrined in the Mainstream of Spirituality which related to worship of One Formless God as the Ultimate Reality of cosmos.

Two points are of basic importance in the philosophy of Jesus. Firstly, before worship of God, one must know what God is; and secondly, God is to be worshipped as Spirit only. Any transgression from this is not approved by Jesus. So whosoever wants to follow and practise the teachings of Jesus Christ he has to attain practical knowledge of God as Spirit, as Formless Being and then only he can be a true worshipper. There is no exception to this divine principle. Jesus has used the word 'Must' in this commandment i.e. "Must worship in Spirit". Any dilution or deviation from this commandment will take away the essence out of what Jesus preached and died for. To quote;

"God is a Spirit; and they that worship Himmust worship Him in Spirit and in truth"

(St. John 4-24)Revelation Through Prophet

Another important aspect of the Mainstream is that God is known only through the living contemporary prophet. Jesus says:

"No one knows the sonexcept the father, and no oneknows the Father except the sonand those to whom the son chooses.

(Matthew: 11.27)This shows the inherent relationship of

Father and the son (i.e. Prophet). The two exist together. If we don't know or meet the prophet (son), we cannot know or meet God (Father). There is no other way. The only way is through the son (Prophet). Jesus says:

"I am the gate, whoever entersthrough me will be saved."

(St. John. 10-9)And what is the burden of the Prophet?

What does the prophet demand from the seeker in turn for grant of Revelation? Only surrender and a humble request :

"Ask, and it shall be given you; seek and ye shall find;

knock and it shall be opened unto you."(St. Matthew 7-7)

Social AspectLove and humility are the highlight of the

Mainstream. Jesus prized these values and declared that the humblest are the greatest in the kingdom of Heaven. Arrogance and pride have no place in the valuable life of spirituality. He says:Whosoever shall exalt himself shall be abased; And he that shall humble himself shall be exalted.

(St. Matthew 23.12)All these references reflect a clear vision of

Lord Jesus who stood for humanism, love and humility. "Love of God, and love of man" are the two pillars on which his teachings are based. According to Jesus all the law and the prophets hang on these two commandments.

(St. Matthew 22.37.39)

SANT NIRANKARIJANUARY 2021

37

Page 38: Vol. 57 Ð No.01 15/-

The other qualities take the back seat and in fact owe their existence only to love of God and love of mankind. These two spiritual postulates evolve durable cohesion in the society which are a pre-requisite for prosperity and progress of the society at large. Whenever these two aspects disappear, the social citadel crumbles down.

Strange are the ways of the world, it first kills its great men and latter worships them to be remembered forever.

SANT NIRANKARI MISSIONTaking a cue from the towering message

of Lord Christ- "Love of God and love of Man", Nirankari Baba Hardev Singh Ji activates the same feelings, "Life gets a meaning, if it is lived for others," It combines the theory of mutual relationship through spiritual awakening with the innate spirit of living for others. Thus True Religion represents our love and worship of God in direct proportion to our dealings and doings with our fellow human beings. it is in this background we know that "SANT NIRANKARI MISSION IS AN ALL EMBRACING WORLD WIDE RELIGIOUS, SOCIO-SPIRITUAL AND CHARITABLE ORGANISATION WHICH PREACHES THE CONCEPT OF ONE FOMLESS GOD (NIRANKAR) AND BELIEVES THAT GOD CAN BE REALISED ONLY THROUGH THE GRACE OF LIVING SATGURU (TRUE MASTER)".

The curves and contours of this definition of the Mission run

harmoniously into the teachings of all the past prophets and globally accepted scriptures, enjoined by the bold message, "Man is a man if he is human. He is human when the entire mankind is his family. Mankind is his family when the all-pervading God is his home. God can be his home when he actually knows

Him and blissfully identifies himself with Him by living up

to the teachings of True Master." In the expressive words of Nirankari

Baba Ji, "No God, No Peace; Know God, Know Peace", is the impressive philosophy of

life which is the real and actual subject matter of the Sant Nirankari Mission, widely representing as the present milestone resting on the pillars of the mainstream of spirituality.

America based organisation, "We Care for Humanity" recognised Nirarankari Baba Hardev Singh Ji Maharaj as "2017 Supreme Spiritual Icon of the Year" at UN Hqrs. (New York) on 20-10-2017 aiming to honour the "Greatest Humanitarian of the World" with Global Order of Dignitaries Award.

SANT NIRANKARIJANUARY 2021

38

Page 39: Vol. 57 Ð No.01 15/-

The enlightened persons believe that all their assets, material and mental belong to God, and we, as trustees only, are ordained to use them for common good of the whole human race. This spells a living above narrow prejudices and dogmas of caste, colour, creed etc. Thereby, one becomes respectful towards others' modes of dress, diet and culture. With towering traits of humility and tolerance, he leads a purposeful self-reliant family life and maintains order in the society.

The apostles laboured hard, the martyrs died in torments, the scholars and the scientists proclaimed the beauties of higher life, the sociologists untiringly inculcated the sense of duties of good citizen, the philosophers pioneered sublime thoughts, and all agreed that God is one and that man's first duty is to realise Him. If man loses faith in God, he loses faith in himself. It spells crisis of character resulting in shocking crash of human values followed by chaos and wide spread violence. Then, only a Messiah can redeem the world.

Religion essentially means knowledge of God. In the absence of actual knowledge, God is different for different persons and for the same person on different occasions. The concept of one God for all, foresees the idea of one religion for all, that suits the whole human race. Mission has succeeded in achieving this objective through a living revelation of Fatherhood of God, the central seed of all religions, ruling out conversions.

The wide range distinguished Socio-Spiritual and Charitable activities of the Mission led to the grant of "General Consultative Status" by U.N. The Mission has expressed the firm opinion that every kind of discrimination and inequality, including socio-economic and gender, can better be sorted out through Spirituality.

The Mission as a parent body has two strong arms, Sant Nirankari Mandal, the organizational setup spreading Divine Knowledge globally and Sant Nirankari Charitable Foundation, exclusively carrying out the socio-charitable activities of general public utility, irrespective of caste, creed, colour, culture, religion and nationality, holding the banner "Service with humility." It was exactly

this kind of religion in his mind, when William Burke claimed that the religion is the foundation of Republic of Mankind, the second name of Humanism, the basis on which all true Civil Governments rest and from which power derives its authority, laws their efficiency and both their sanction. If it is once shaken by contempt, the whole fabric cannot be stable or lasting.

The Corona Virus pandemic, the challenging event of our life time, has proved to be harbinger of destruction in terms of loss of lives. The entire humanity feels helpless to change its hapless into happiness. It will be divine intervention and an act of serendipity that we will come out of this pandemic. The whole world is closed for renovation. Restoration of enlightened faith in the Omnipresent and Omnipotent God marks the needed renovation, holding promise for a happier world eagerly waiting for "Grand opening."

It is believed universally that a healthy heart beat makes two sounds. "lub dupp, lub dupp." Time has come for all of us to consider if this can be changed into two more important and much needed sounds; "love deep, love deep" We can surely hear the sound this way when we heartily pick up the spiritual message "God is love and love is God."

The Sant Nirankari Mission has become today a mass movement of God-Knowledge and Universal Brotherhood working as a deep reservoir of peace, love and understanding to stem the wild fire of hatred, jealousy and ill-will. Hence the stress is on our own behavior based on spiritual enlightenment. The Mission is certainly poised for greater heights since the peace and tranquility, love and faith it preaches and practices is exactly what the trouble-torn world does need to stabilize and march forward to peace and prosperity.

Her Holiness Satguru Mata Sudiksha Ji Maharaj, the present Spiritual Head of Sant Nirankari Mission gives a clarion call, "The world needs to be united as a family, tolerating, accepting and loving each other, keeping in mind the watchword "God-fi-dence" having complete faith and confidence in God, truly proving our image of God."

SHRI KHEMRAJ CHADDHA JIAn Inspiring Life

Delhi, December 2: The Mission

is remembering today the dedicated life of Shri Khemraj Chaddha Ji, a saint with abundant energy and discipleship. His life had been a constant source of inspiration. Be it administration or congregations, he had the speciality to provide smooth running to them. These were the feelings expressed by Satguru Mata Sudiksha Ji Maharaj at the congregation organized virtually to seek inspiration from the life of Shri Chaddha Ji.

Satguru Mata Ji said that Shri Chaddha exhibited the manner in which a devoted life was led and from childhood She got an opportunity to watch him. He would always come fully prepared for meetings with Baba Ji. With Satguru’s blessings, he strived to make every given task possible. Besides his punctuality and regularity at congregations, He remained abundantly filled with the spirit of service.

Her Holiness further said that Chaddha Ji gave top priority to the spirit of servitude. He followed Satguru’s directions with humility. During congregations, he put forward his thoughts in an impressive manner to make it interesting, creating curiosity among the saints.

He maintained a devoted life, while simultaneously fulfilling all his social and domestic responsibilities. In spite of health problems, his enthusiasm remained intact as also the spirit of carrying out any given service.
