Dear Parents

“Adversities are the best teacher and challenges are the best motivators.”

The inexpressible resilience despite the great adversity has been the most

striking feature of the year 2020. Surely, the situation has brought with it

abundant of unfamiliar challenges, but it has also motivated the hard-working

youngsters to be creative and look for opportunities in adversities. Keeping up

with the same, in this phase of social distancing due to the outbreak of COVID-

19, our school has made a great effort to ensure that learning continues. We

have successfully made use of e-learning so that the students can continue their

learning by making full use of the available digital platforms. Furthermore, we

have successfully been able to streamline the workflow and provide the finest of

learning experience to our students.

We stand in admiration of the unmoved champions and COVID-19 warriors

whose resilience and positivity continue to provide magical calmness amidst

heavy chaos. To witness such unparalleled heroism from all quarters of the

society has been truly inspiring for the school fraternity. I express profound

gratitude on behalf of each member of the school to all the stakeholders

conveying great admiration and thankfulness for the support handed out by the

parents and teachers who have jointly made the process of home learning a

rewarding and fulfilling experience for the learners. The school further extends

its gratitude towards the rule-abiders and sincerely hopes for all to stay cheerful,

safe, and healthy!

At this point of time, we are not too sure as to when normalcy will

return. We sincerely hope and pray that things would only get better in

times to come. The need of the hour is to stay optimistic about the future and

undertake all such activities and hobbies that raise our spirits and help us stay

positive. I put forth my best wishes to all the thoughtful parents, keen students

and diligent teachers for the New Year 2021. I wish all abundant success,

profound peace, sound health and pure happiness. I wish great success to all

our students in their pursuit of excellence, simultaneously hoping them to be

responsible and enlightened citizens of the nation.

Stay happy, safe and healthy!

Inspiring story of Elon Musk Time was that when Elon Musk launched a web software company called Zip2 and made it successful and sold it after some years. And after that Elon Musk formed X.Com (later PayPal) company. But he was removed from the post of CEO by the board. But PayPal was not the end of his road and he founded SpaceX in the year 2002 and Tesla Motors in 2003 which are now very successful companies. This taught us that “If something is important enough, even if the odds are against you, you should still do it.”

WILMA RUDOLPH She was born in poverty in the state of Tennesse. When she was 4 years old she had double pneumonia with scarlet fever which left her paralyzed with polio. She had to wear braces and the doctor said that she would not be able to walk normally again. Her mother encouraged her and said that she could do anything if she wanted and only if she believed. She wanted to be the fastest woman on this earth. She did not see herself as a cripple, but saw herself as a winner. Along the ways she had to overcome the challenges and discouragement but it was worthwhile when she collected her three gold medals. Story of Wilma Rudolph inspired me a lot.

JK ROWLING “ At six years, when her friend used to play outside, she was surrounded by books and lost her mother at the age of 25 years. When she was riding by a train to London, she started writing HARRY POTTER ( a famous story) which was then rejected by many publications. She was scattered but not defeated. And then it was published by a small publishing house and become a renowned series at present.“

*It inspires me to not strive to achieve success in life.

Hi everyone . My journey at Amravati Vidyalaya is not something which I can convey in a few words. This institution has given me so many things that I cannot even begin to list. I learned diligence , discipline, compassion, how to be courageous and many other things from my lovely teachers. My teachers who always encouraged me are still an important part of my life. A little piece of advice that i would like to give to the upcoming generation at Amravati is “ never get too comfortable, always push yourself beyond your limits”. Thank you Amravati Vidyalaya for everything. Lots of love .

It has been rightly said that “School is a building which has four walls with tomorrow inside”.It makes me extremely nostalgic to pen down my thoughts as being an alma mater of this prestigious institution- Amravati Vidyalaya. When I feel blessed about what I have achieved , my mind automatically takes me to people and events that I am grateful about. Having a deep sense of gratitude to my parents, family, friends and one major aspect that made the difference to me is my Alma Mater Amravati Vidalaya. One can’t ask for a better place than this school to shape up a young mind and look ahead to their future prospects. It has always been a second home to me which gave me the pleasant happy student years and allowed me to gain experience from some of the best teachers one can ask for which helped me to open up my inner potential and inculcated the confidence. It has provided me various learning experiences that I will always treasure. What I admired most about my alma mater were the dedicated teachers who nurtured their students and I feel they are like the angels sent from the god to nurture and to facilitate the needs of the students. I will always be thankful for the generous contribution you have made to my educational and academic pursuit.

“School plays a vital role in everybody’s success.” I have spent nine fruitful years in Amravati. This was a second home to me where I learnt about life, ambition, and how to deal with hurdles in life, most importantly I learnt how to be disciplined. According to me, School life is the best period of one’s life. I have learnt how to be the best and I always feel blessed to be guided by the best mentors. Well, I was close to all my teachers who had been always supporting and motivating in all the aspects. I have learnt so much from all of them. After completing my school, I did MBBS from BPS GMC, Sonepat and right now I am undergoing an internship from the same college. I feel very accomplished and proud to be an Ex-Amravatian. Today, whatever I have achieved in my life and still a lot what I desire to attain ahead, a substantial credit goes to my school.

Corona Lockdown and Education No one had expected even in their wildest dreams what 2020 had in store for them. A strange silent type of disaster-no natural calamity like earthquake or a flood or a drought but the entire world held hostage by a miniscule micro-organism-the coronavirus. As Charles Darwin said about evolution, only those who adapt survive, in other words - “the survival of the fittest.” The entire teaching fraternity took up the challenge and devised ways and means to teach their students online so that their learning did not come to a standstill. Just as the doctors, nurses and soldiers are called warriors, I would like to call the teachers also warriors in their own special way. At the beginning the challenge was formidable, as it was a new field. Sometimes we were taken advantage of and befooled by the students but slowly as we went along, things fell in place and it was smooth sailing thereafter. We learnt ways and tricks to make our teaching more interactive and interesting, learnt to take Google form tests and conduct practicals. Slowly the problem of poor network etc. was ironed out and, I am proud to say that we have become masters of the game now. One entire academic session has passed out in online classes and the board exams are a big question mark in front of us. Online classes are of course, no match to classroom teaching but we have to make do with them until the situation improves. We have to remain focused and survive this huge challenge with a positive mindset.

“It’s the teacher that makes the difference, not the classroom.” The toil,

fortitude, earnest efforts and allegiance of the mentors speak with

meritorious outcomes. The functional thoughts of competent teachers

are here:

“Aim for success, not perfection. Never give up your right to be wrong, because then you will lose the ability to learn new things and move forward with your life. “ Our Endeavour at Amravati Vidyalaya, always focuses on achieving the excellence in academics in true sense that is with enhanced learning in such a manner that it further facilitates their life. Though the current session had not been an easy one as all around the world crisis of Covid-19 was prevailing and threatening all. During this tough phase too we tried to continue our earnest efforts to maintain the pace of learning among students and also ensured that optimum utilization of time could be done in a constructive and effective way for the process of learning. In this entire process the labors of institute in terms of serving the interest of its stake holders have been doubled. Initially everyone had to adopt the new practice of online teaching and learning in which the hardest challenge was to get adjusted in such a scenario where the face-to-face interaction had been an integral part, was missing. To begin with, the teachers were given training, students were conditioned and gradually after embracing the technology the process became smooth and fruitful. By :Mrs. Prerna
