SEPIR·1BER SPEAKER OF THE ~IDi

David Wiener spoke to the 89 members that attended the September meet_ing. His talk not_ only covered basic husbandry and care of various frogs and toads, but also gave merritRrs useful infol1nation on cages and their repair. David has submitted some articles for future newsletters on some cage repair ideas he has used successfully. The slide presentat.ion of sane of his frogs and toads was colorful and well done. A few slides even showed the members at t.he meeting how to tell the difference between a rrale and female frog - boxers vs. bikinis. David explained that he only uses well water or di st.illed water on his amphibians. He also said that. sometimes he has better luck feeding flies vs crickets. Vvhen working with r..oison frogs, disposable rubber gloves are handy. David ended his presentation with a question and answer session.

FJ'hanks David for your infonnation on anphibians. The slides were colorful and so were the herps you brought. for us to view.
