NOTICE is hereby given of the varying of Technical Guideline UPSS1: Underground Petroleum Storage Systems – Decommissioning Assessment Report Requirements and Technical Guideline UPSS2: Underground Petroleum Storage Systems – Decommissioning Assessment – Sampling and Risk Assessment Requirements under regulation 42(2) of the Environmental Management and Pollution Control (Underground Petroleum Storage Systems) Regulations 2010.

UPSS1 and UPSS2 have been updated to specify that the works required in UPSS1 and UPSS2 are undertaken or reviewed by professionals who are certified under the Site Contamination Practitioners Australia scheme or under interstate Contaminated Land Auditor schemes.

i, grAnt PullEn, Acting Director (Marine Resources), pursuant to my delegated power under section 20 (1) of the Living Marine Resources Management Act 1995, in accordance with Rule 11(2) of the Fisheries (Rock Lobster) Rules 2011, hereby determine that the part of the rock lobster fishery that comprises of the activities of the taking of rock lobster from, or the setting of a rock lobster pot in, the “Maria Island Zone” is closed from 8 August 2015,

where:

"Maria Island Zone" is defined to mean the area of State waters adjacent to the east coast of Tasmania bounded in the north by the line of latitude at 42º 09’ 58” South and bounded in the south by the line of latitude at 42º 49’ 00” South, and also including all the waters within Great Oyster Bay north of latitude at 42º 09’ 58” South.

Words and expressions used in this public notice have the same meaning as in the Living Marine Resources Management Act 1995 and the Fisheries (Rock Lobster) Rules 2011.

InformationDue to the presence of the toxic algae Alexandrium tamarense, the rock lobster fishery between Wineglass Bay and the southern end of Marion Bay is closed from Saturday 8 August 2015 (i.e. closes midnight of Friday) - while samples are taken and tested to determine PST levels in lobster and also to ensure critical export market access is not compromised. The non-commercial and commercial fisheries close in the area from 8 August 2015.

GRANT PULLEN, Acting Director (Marine Resources), Department of Primary Industries, Parks, Water and Environment, pursuant to the delegated anthority under Section 20(1) of the Living Marine Resources Management Act 1995, in accordance with the Fisheries (Scaliop) Rules 2010, hereby:1. Specify under Rule 16(1)(c) of the Rules, the amount of

scallops that may be taken or possessed in total from all areas of the commercial scallop fishery determined to be open under the provisions of Rule 16(1)(a) of the Rules is increased to 1033 tonnes, this amount being inclusive of the 620 tonnes previously specified by Public Notice published in State newspapers on 1 July 2015 and in Gazette No. 21 527 on 1 July 2015;

2. Set under Rule 20(2)(b) of the Rules, the maximum percentage of scallop quota units that may be taken in total by the holder of a Fishing Licence (scallop) in the 2015 Open Season is increased to 25%, this amount being inclusive of the 15% previously set by Public Notice published In State newspapers on 1 July 2015 and in Gazette No. 21 527 On 1 July 2015.

3. Season dates, specified open areas and size limits remain as determined previously and set by Public Notice published in State newspapers on 1 July 2015 and in Gazette No. 21 527 on 1 July June 2015.

I, MARTIN READ, A/General Manager (Water and Marine Resources), acting under Rule 9(3) of the Fisheries (Abalone) Rules 2009, and delegated authority under Section 20(1) of the Living Marine Resources Management Act 1995, hereby determine that the dates of closing of State waters of the commercial abalone fishery in State waters off Albatross Island and the central north coast to the activities of the take and possession of blacklip abalone (Haliotis rubra) are as follows:

for State waters off Albatross Island: from 5 August 2015 to 31 December 2015 inclusive; and

for the central north coast: from 5 August 2015 to 6 December 2015 inclusive;

where “State waters off Albatross Island” is defined to mean: the area of State waters off the north-west coast of Hunter Island enclosed in the east by the line of longitude 144º 40’ 42.23” East, in the west by the line of longitude 144º 38’ 03.03” East, in the north by the line of latitude 40º 21’ 32.63” South, and in the south by the line of latitude 40º 23’ 35.95” South; and

where “the central north coast” is defined to mean: the area of State waters off the central north coast enclosed by an imaginary line commencing at the high water mark at Cowrie Point then following that line of high water in an approximately easterly direction to its intersection with the line of longitude 147º 30’ 50.02” East in Anderson Bay then running due north to the line of latitude 40º 44’ 13.07” South then running due

west to the line of longitude 145º 22’ 21.31” East then running due south to the point of commencement.

For the purpose of this public notice, “possession” does not include blacklip abalone on a fishing vessel that is transiting the part of State waters closed to the abalone fishery if the blacklip abalone possessed on the vessel were taken from a part of State waters that is open to the abalone fishery and, while the fishing vessel is transiting the part of State waters closed to the abalone fishery, a person does not dive from, or enter the water from, the fishing vessel or auxiliary vessel used from the fishing vessel.

I, PETER CARL GUTWEIN, Minister for Planning and Local Government, hereby give notice that I have declared the draft Sorell Interim Planning Scheme 2014 to be the Sorell Interim Planning Scheme 2015, in accordance with section 30F of the Land Use Planning and Approvals Act 1993 (the Act).

The Sorell Interim Planning Scheme 2015 will come into operation on 12 August 2015. Under section 30F(5) of the Act, the Sorell Interim Planning Scheme 2015 applies to the Sorell municipal area. The Sorell Planning Scheme 1993 ceases to have effect on 12 August 2015.
