INVERMERE Your 2009/10 Columbia Valley Rockies, pic-tured here in their first exhibition game against the Golden Rockets, are ready to kick-start their season Friday night at the Eddie Moun-

tain Memorial Arena in Invermere. There have been some big changes to the Rockies this year,

including a new management team and many talented players. This year, well-known local coach Rob Rice of Invermere has

taken the reins behind the bench and hopes to drive the team to success, on and off the ice.

The Rockies will hit the ice for their home opener against the Creston Valley Thunder Cats Friday at

the Eddie Mountain Memorial Arena at 7:30 p.m. Go, Rockies, go!
