“Prashz Custom Design”
Indian custom motorcycle market has grown by many folds in last few years. Thanks to
global exposure and inner ideas of these custom builders, we can now witness a unique machine
around us in nearly every Indian city. This tale is all about Prashz Custom Designs, who had
recently completed the first project out of the 2007 Hero Honda CBZ in their garage. This
custom bobber has been named „Mini Bullet‟ by its creator.
Photo 2: Custom Bike
If you believe in the fact that only expensive motorcycles can fetch you the required attention,
Prashz custom Designs are here to change the mindset with their second custom product. As most viewers
won‟t believe this at the end, this modified bike started its life as a stock Hero Super Splendor and went
up to become this fascinating cruiser inspired street fighter. This time, they have even finished the body
panels in Blue for the premium feel
“ND’s Modified Bike”
Students of T.E. Automobile Nihal Deshmukh (ND),
Jadhav Rohan, Sawant Vishwajit and Chavare Vaibhav have
modified Suzuki max100 into cafe-racer bike. A cafe racer more
commonly is a lightweight, lightly powered motorcycle optimized
for speed and handling rather than comfort and for quick rides over
short distances. Cafe racers are noted for their visual minimalism.

AESA Events
Department of Automobile Engineering is not only successful in academics but also
contribute towards society and student benefit dealings. In this, our students association named
AESA contributes a lot. AESA, the emerging association; was formed in 2012. In the year of
2016, they have conducted and succeeded in number of events. Some of the events are described
as follow-
1. Road Safety – Time For Action (21stJanuary, 2016)
To make Indian roads safer and to initiate responsible driving among people, National Safety
Council of India along with the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways started with the idea
of „Road Safety Week.‟ Road safety week is celebrated in India in the month of January, every
year. This year the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways is organising the 27th Road Safety
Week.
Likewise every year, this year also we conduct a Road Safety one day program in the
National safety day/ week. In this program we invited as guest Mr. Sachin Vidhate Asst. RTO,
Sangli. They delivered valuable guidance on road safety, health and protection of environment.
They discussed about Rules & Regulation of driving.

Technology Updates
1. Self balancing vehicle:
Honda has unveiled what it calls the 'Riding Assist' technology at the ongoing
Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas. Honda Riding Assist basically uses
technology that allows the motorcycle to balance itself in slow speeds without the use of
gyroscopes. This is achieved essentially by raking out the motorcycle's front forks and
then moving the front wheel back and forth - just like cyclists do to balance themselves at
extremely slow speeds.
Photo 11: Self balancing vehicle Photo 12: Tesla's Latest Autopilot Car
2. Tesla's Latest Autopilot Car:
Tesla announced an updated version of their autopilot hardware in December last year,
named HW2.The latest update pushes Tesla's autopilot capabilities even further towards full
automation, enabling Level 5 automation of vehicles. HW2 enables a host of features, including
autosteer, forward collision warning, parking assistant, blind spot detection, auto-barking and
parking assist. The updated hardware and software will only ready the vehicles for the highest
levels of automation in the US as legislation changes and further advances emerge.
