Whether they are chatting about their winter break,

hope we can raise money.”

A special recognition
goes to Jamir Harris for
helping out his friend
when he forgot
breakfast one morning.
Jamir bought him a
sandwich. What a kind
thing to do for a friend!

Movie Review By Matthew Drinks
I saw The Amazing Spiderman movie last week. It stars
Andrew Garfield, who is the new Spiderman. This Spiderman
movie is about how Spiderman can save the world from the
Lizard also known as Dr. Curt Conners. His plans are to take over
the world with mini lizards. Spiderman uses Dr. Conners’
machine to stop all the lizards and turn Dr. Conners back into a
human. That’s all I can tell you – I don’t want to let you know the
ending. This is the best out of all of the Spiderman movies.
Go see it.

Trans-Siberian Orchestra
By Joey Oakley
My family and I went to see the
Trans-Siberian Orchestra’s 2012 Winter Tour
on Friday, Dec. 14. The concert was at the
Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia. If you
remember too I went to their concert last
year, but this year’s concert was better. The
concert has great special effects. It started
with a huge clock that was swinging and on
fire! Other effects included lighting,
fireworks, lasers, smoke and lots of snow.
The music was great. The show lasted 2
hours. We should make this an ATG Field
Trip in 2013. You’ll love it.
Playing Basketball Outside By DeVon Williams
I wish to play basketball. There are 2 reasons.
Everybody gets happy and active. Second, it is
social. I mean we are all together and having fun.
I like being able to move around. I think we
should do it. I know it’s cold now, but I mean in
the springtime.
Movie Review
By Matthew Drinks
I saw Journey 2: The Mysterious Island and it is
so funny. It stars The Rock, Josh Hutcheson,
Michael Cain, and Vanessa Hudgens. The story
is about how The Rock, Vanessa, and Josh’s
characters go searching for Josh’s missing
grandfather. The search takes a long time and
they end up on this mysterious island. They fight
off a giant lizard, and step on giant eggs that
look like rocks. They also find that anything big
on earth is small on the island and anything
small on earth is big on the island. They face
volcanoes, giant bees, electric eels, floods and
lava bombs and they have many other dangerous
adventures. I won’t tell you if they find Josh’s
grandfather – you will have to watch.

These plump marshmallow pals are adorned with sugar, spice, and everything nice.
To make four of them, combine 1/2 cup sugar with 2 teaspoons cinnamon and 1/2 teaspoon ginger in a medium bowl and set it aside. Fill another medium bowl with water. Melt 1 cup white chocolate chips according to the package directions, then transfer the chocolate to a ziplock bag and snip off a corner. To form each pop, slide two marshmallows onto a lollipop stick. Use the melted chocolate to adhere mini marshmallow arms and legs as shown. Let the chocolate set. Dip the pop in the water, then roll it in the sugar mixture until coated. Pipe on a chocolate face, then use more chocolate to attach heart and confetti sprinkle buttons, bows, and bow ties.

School Restaurant Nights
What could be better than a night where ATG families can socialize and, at the same time, raise money for our school? Many restaurants offer fundraising nights for schools. Families, friends and neighbors are invited into the restaurant and a percentage of their bills is donated to the school. Below you will see a list of restaurants that ATG may hold a School Night. If you are in favor of one or more restaurant, please call or email us to let us know!
