The Annual School Day was organized on Friday 9th February 2018, titles Rhythmic Squad. 122 children participated in it. It was a day of colour and gaiety. We appreciated the efforts of 45 parents who sponsored the show.

HEAVENLY FRIENDS

I Std Class Activity was conducted on 27TH Tuesday for the topic “Heavenly Friends” in E.V.S. Children enacted the poem and spoke a few sentences abou the heavenly bodies.

PLAY AND ENJOY

Students of II Std played indoor and outdoor games as a part of the class activity for the lesson “Play and Enjoy” in EVS. Children brought various indoor games like Carrom, Chess, Ludo, Snake and Ladder, Business game, etc., and played in the classrooms. They played outdoor games like Football, Cricket, Shuttle Cock, etc., in the ground on the Thursday 8th Feb. Children enjoyed playing indoor and outdoor games with their friends.

PATTERNS

A class activity for the month of February was organized on Wednesday 21/02/18 by students of Std III. With the help of teachers, children made different designs and patterns using straight lines and curved lines.

THIMMAKKA AND TREES ARE LOT LIKE US

Students of Std IV performed a colourful stage activity on Wednesday the 21st February for the English chapter “Thimmakka” and poem ”Trees are lot like us”. The life history of Thimmakka was enacted by our students. They also performed a spectacular dance for the song “Naa Kaato Mujhe Bada Dukhta Hai”. To make our students understand the values and realize the importance of trees.

A class activity was conducted on Tuesday the 27th of Feb 2018. Students of Std VII made models of Lotus Mahal, Sansad Bhavan, Raj Ghat, Qutub Minar, Lakshmi Narayan Temple, Red Fort, Rashtrapathi Bhavan etc and briefed the audience about them.

Best Teacher Award

Mrs.Parimala Head Mistress of B M Primary School was honoured with the Best Teacher Award by the Karnataka Primary Aided School Association on Saturday 17th Feb at Shikshakara Sadan. The Management & Staff congratulate Mrs.Parimala for this great achievement.

Happenings in Primary

Students of Std V visited Sri Acharya Rakum Blind School situated in Indiranagar as a part of class activity based on the English lesson ”The challenged conqueror – Dr. Puttaraj Gawai” on 24th February. Children sang songs for the visually challenged children and they too exhibited their talents by singing melodious songs. Our children also had an opportunity to learn about Braille Script. Parents, Students and Teachers generously donated to the noble cause by providing lots of edible items.

NINNALLU ADBUTHA SAKTHIYIDE

Students of VI std had organized a talent show for the lesson “Ninnallu Adbutha Sakthiyide” on 23rd February 2018. Children were able to display talents confidently.

CAREER EXPO 2018

A Career fest was organised on 17th of February, titled Career Expo 2018. Professionals from various fields like Medicine, Defence and banking helped students identify the right career path based on their likes, abilities and personality type. Students from various schools participated in the event and the feedback received was phenomenal.

Happenings in High School

EXCURSION TO SRIRANGAPATNA

Students from 8th,9th and 10th Standard went for an excursion to Srirangapatnam. We visited some historically very significant places like Hyder Ali’s and Tippu’s tomb and the KRS Dam. The trip had a balance of attaining knowledge and leisure. The students get to spend time at Balmuri falls,where we had lunch and got time to socialize. An exciting event to start 2018 !
