COMMENTS FROM THE PRESIDENTSandra J. Stacey
Volunteers:
A chair and volunteers are needed for the Hospitality Committee. If you are interested in serving on a committee please contact me.
The train station is open 1/2 day on Tuesdays, Thursdays andSaturdays. We are in a critical situation. If we can’t get morevolunteers, the station will only be able to open two days a week. Can you spare half a day a month? If you are willing to volunteerPLEASE contact Tony Smith at [email protected] Tony isChair of the Volunteer Committee. He does a great job but can-not do everything by himself.
The train station still needs a volunteer manager. If you are in-terested please contact me.
Volunteers are needed to bring refreshments to the meetings. The list will be passed around at the next meeting. Please signup. I need three volunteers per month. The only thing volunteersneed to bring is store bought cookies and sodas. Plates, napkins, cups etc. are provided by the society. Since we are meeting at theCivic Center it will be easier to bring refreshments. If no one vol-unteers we will not be able to offer refreshments. This is the timewe get to mingle and meet with other members (and of course myfavorite time).
