RESIDENT FEESResidents are persons who pay their property taxes directly to the Village OR Town of Jackson. Non-resident fees will be denoted by an NR where the fees are listed throughout the guide.

CANCELLATIONSIf class size does not meet the minimum listed requirements, the class may be cancelled. If a cancellation occurs due to class size, you will be offered a full refund or a transfer to another class with the same fee. We will make every effort to combine classes to avoid cancellations.

SOCIAL MEDIA, VIDEO AND PHOTOGRAPH POLICYDuring programs and events we will periodically take pictures or videos to use for publicity. By participating in events/programs, you understand you are giving us permission to be used in photos/and or videos in multi-media publications. 19th Annual Scotty Schoen

This event is open for kids of all ages to come and enjoy fishing with their family. Just bring your pole and bait. There will be goodie bags, fantastic prizes and FUN!!! Not only are there prizes for the longest fish, but also for the best casting skills! The derby will be held at the DNR Lake Hasmer Access just north of HWY 60 on HWY P in Jackson. Fishing licenses are not needed by participants 15 and under, but all older participants and adults

fishing must have a valid fishing license. All participants must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Refreshments and hot dogs will be available for $1.00!

PARKING: There is NO PARKING on Hwy P - please park in the Park and Ride Lot on Apple Lane.

4K ENROLLMENT IS OPEN FOR THE 2020-2021 SCHOOL YEARThe West Bend School District has partnered with the Jackson Parks & Recreation Department to offer an optional, high-quality, community-based 4K experience that emphasizes active learning for all four year-olds.

The WBSD community-based 4K Program is an optional program offered at no cost to families who live in the West Bend School District attendance area. The WBSD community-based 4K program are taught by certified teachers. Our community-based 4K program will promote early reading and math skills, language development, and social/emotional growth to prepare all children for success. Learning through play is an essential component of the program. Children in the WBSD who are at least four years of age on or before September 1, 2020, are eligible to enroll in the WBSD 4K program. The first day of class for 4K is Tuesday, September 8, 2020.

The Jackson Area Community Center offers a morning class from 8:45am to 11:30 and another afternoon class from 12:45 - 3:30pm. The classes fill quickly, so early registration is encouraged, especially if you have a time preference. At the JACC, you will find quality programming, exceptional staff and a warm and a welcoming environment for you and your family. The program is a community-based physical activity and self-management education program. While walking is the central activity, Walk With Ease is a multi-component program that also includes health education, stretching and strengthening exercises, and motivational strategies. Group sessions include socialization time, pre-walk informational lecturettes, warm ups and cool downs and 10-35 minute walking period.
