PECAA Objectives & Activities

Objectives

Establishment of chapters at various places.

Creation of Endowment fund to give awards for the outstanding students in their final

University Examinations.

Awarding best Alumni in different fields and categories.

Providing placement assistance for current students.

Providing financial aid for needy and deserving students.

Honoring bright students with scholarships and/or prizes.

Arranging book-bank facility for needy students.

Promoting sports, cultural and literary activities.

Involving in the development of PEC, its faculty and students.

Bridging the gap between institute and industry.

Sharing views and experiences of alumnus for the benefit of students.

Facilitating contacts between alumnus and current students of PEC.

Preparing and circulating Alumni Newsletter annually.

Arranging Annual Alumni Meet.

Chapters The chapters will function independently and the Alumni Association would be to

support and facilitate the chapter activities.

The Association shall work mainly through its chapters.

The Association shall also have its chapters in different cities in India and Abroad.

Minimum required members for establishing a chapter will be 25.

All those who have not yet registered themselves with the Alumni Association will be

enrolled afresh at a fee of Rs. 500. They have to fill up a registration form, available on the

Internet at www.priyadarshini.net.in

The various chapters of the Alumni Association shall work independently of each other.

PECAA Day 2017 PECAA Day 2017 was held at PEC on 26th January 2017 presided over by the Guest of

Honor were Dr. S.Jayakumar, REC, Chennai & Prof. A.Showkath Ali, Islamiah College and

Principal Dr. P.Natarajan initiated the various activities of the Association. The event was a

grand success in which about 300 alumnus and their family members from all over the

country and Abroad participated.

PECAADay 2016

PECAA Day 2016 was held at PEC on 26th January 2016 presided over by the Guest of

Honor Dr. G.Baskar, Principal, BEC and Principal Dr. P.Natarajan initiated the various

activities of the Association. The event was a grand success in which about 350 alumnus

and their family members from all over the country and Abroad participated.

PECAA Day 2015

PECAA Day 2015 was held at PEC on 26th January 2015 presided over by the Guest of

Honor Dr. T.N.Ranganathan, former Principal, PEC and Principal Dr. P.Natarajan initiated

the various activities of the Association. The event was a grand success in which about 300

alumnus and their family members from all over the country and Abroad participated.

PECAA Day 2014

PECAA Day 2014 was held at PEC on 26th January 2014 presided over by our

Administrator Hon’ble Justice Mr. V. Rengasamy , the Guest of Honor was

Dr. Y.Robinson, Former Principal, PEC & Presently Director, RVS Educational Group, CBE,

Principal Dr. P.Natarajan initiated the various activities of the Association. The event was

a grand success in which about 250 alumnus and their family members from all over the

country and Abroad participated.

Endowment fund instituted by PEC Alumni staff

PEC Alumni staff (2014 - 2015 Academic Year) have created an endowment fund of Rs.20,000/-

to award the rank holders , one student from UG and one student from PG Department who

secure University rank.

PEC Endowment fund instituted by alumnus of MCA.

The alumnus of MCA (2002-2005 batch) have instituted an endowment fund of Rs.30,000/- for awarding the final year students of MCA who secure I and II rank in their final year University Examinations.
