Congratulations to those who received Musical Ladder Awards:
Teacher Spotlight: Crystal Davis
Crystal has been teaching voice and beginning piano at The Norman Music Institute since 2009.
She has been teaching music in some capacity for over 20 years.
Crystal enjoys working with Children’s Choirs and pre-school music lessons. She teaches the
Munchkin Music classes for NMI several times a year.
She has also helped put on the NMI Broadway Camp the past two summers.
Crystal just began this past August as the Music Teacher at Kingsgate Elementary for the Moore
Public School District.We are so happy to have Crystal as one of our wonderful and talented teachers here at NMI!

Upcoming Events
Student Showcases: September 15, October 13, and November 3
at Noon and 2:00pm
Our annual Food and Shelter Inc. Fundraiser will be Friday, November 9, at 7:00pm. This year, teachers and students will perform the
album Rumours by Fleetwood Mac. Donations are accepted at the door and items will be auctioned off during the
evening in order to raise money for this local charity.
NMI will be closed for Thanksgiving Tuesday, November 20-Saturday, November 24.
