STUDENT WEB CORRESPONDENT FOR HARRISBURG CAMPUS
The Law School Web Development Office is looking for a Student Web Correspondent for the 2012-13 academic year, with the ability to start in Spring 2012 and learn under the current Stu-dent Web Correspondent.
Responsibilities: The Student Web Correspondent for the Harrisburg campus will be responsible for attending certain campus events and reporting on them for the school’s website (http://law.widener.edu). Event coverage in-cludes the use of a digital camera to snap photographs and shoot short video clips as well as the taking of notes. The correspondent will then be responsi-ble for writing a short article on the event, which will then be submitted to the Web Editor for proofing.
Qualifications and Requirements: Interested students should have solid writ-ing skills and must be able to use a digital camera. Qualified candidates must be able to meet tight deadlines and work on multiple projects simultaneously. Writing samples are required. Students with backgrounds in journalism or other writing disciplines are especially encouraged to apply.
Work Schedule: Roughly 10 hours a week. Work time will vary week to week. Must have flexibility to cover evening and possibly some weekend events.
Wage Rate: $8.00 per hour.
Application: Interested students should submit a résumé and a short exposi-tory or descriptive writing sample (no more than 5 pages) to the Law school’s Web Development Office via email. Application and supplemental ma-terials should be submitted to [email protected].
Please Note: The position reports to the Web Editor, but Harrisburg LIC Di-rector Patricia Fox acts as the liaison, coordinating paperwork and time sheets.

FROM THE LIBRARY
As the spring semester winds down it is time to start thinking about preparing for final exams.
Some suggested library resources include:

The library has a variety of study aids by subject that you can consult. Click HERE for a list of Hornbooks, HERE for a list of Examples and Explanations titles, and HERE for the Understanding series.
There are also a variety of resources online dealing with law exam prep; offering organizational tips, and study hints. Though these links are somewhat dated, they should prove helpful:
